We love our church! FTCC is a Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination church. We've been…read moreattending for 6 months and from the beginning we loved the friendliness and unpretentiousness of the people! The services run an hour and they are very punctual, something my wife and I like. Can't stand churches that start ten minutes late and run on and on. The music team is awesome! Contemporary Christian music with a sound quality and experience equivalent to a pro-level. No theatrics, no showboating. Just solid and rocking worship music! The pastor is going through each book of the bible. It's called Route 66. The teaching is no nonsense Biblically-sound and based. The pastor presents each teaching in a very down- to-earth and easy-to-apply style. All the staff are relatively young and have been there for some years. They are very friendly and available. The church believes heavily in small-groups and has quite a number of small- groups available. The kids and youth programs are outstanding. All programs follow the same teaching as the adult church so it's neat being able to talk to our kid about church. The leaders are all very passionate about the kids and really look out for them.

Although we are members of another Christian church and different denomination, we were welcomed with open arms. We chose to attend Hope Baptist as Sunday night services are limited in our area. We were thankful to find a local Bible believing church still having night services. The music was very good as we both enjoy old hymns . The preaching and the personal testimonies were wonderful. And it is so welcomed to still hear alter calls and see people responding. We regularly attend a church with a more relaxed dress code, yet we did not feel frowned upon the 1st night that I wore slacks and a shirt( with the name of another church embossed on it). Since then I carefully choose a dress or skirt and less casual top as we attend Hope Baptist. We plan to continue attending Hope Baptist for their Sunday or mid-week services.

Our own family of three began attending a year and a half ago after we moved to Perrysburg from out-of-state. The community, fellowship and care we've received has been wonderful and introduced us to new friends. For our 3 (now 4) year old, Children's Church during the service is organized, fun, safe and age appropriate. The teachers and volunteers have training and require multiple (and group) interviews before starting. Our little boy made friends quickly and loves the new playground built by the men's ministry in the back (open and available to the public). While the family and children support has been wonderful, the preaching by Pastor Daniel and small group bible study has been refreshing and challenging as believers looking to learn.

As children of God, we have brothers and sisters in Christ all over the globe. Although I moved 3…read moreyears ago, the friends I made here became like family to me. They offer a wonderful Sunday School program, great kids ministries, and more than one service so you can always make it. I miss the mid-week Life Line Bible study and I think the work this church will be greatly awarded for their work through the community.
