This Church has hurt me deeply, and i felt alienated for simply having different opinions as a 6th grader till highschool ish. I now realized all of those people weren't true believers of Christ and most of them used Jesus Christ as an aesthetic to judge each others, rather than to build relationships closer to God. I was so scared to go to that Church every morning, I would have anxiety attacks before leaving the house as a 6th grader. Not to mention, when they told the congregation they were looking for a new Paster for Calvary, they ended up getting some guy to play the Paster role and merge church's without letting anyone know until people were mad, and then were forced to then vote on that decision. This church felt like every opinion on the Bible had to be black or white and if you had anything different to say they'll make you think you did something wrong. Sometimes it was fun due to the activities such as music camp or kids choir, but the people who were there to pick people apart were terrible. I am turning 22 and still traumatized to this day. I remember comments being made on junior high girls being "inappropriate" for wearing a normal swimsuit to the pool. These are the types of brainwashed people you'll deal with who will never put themselves in someone's shoes, even if you don't know what size they wear. Oh yeah and if you were dealing with any mental illness they'll tell you either A. you deserved it somehow and need to repent, or B. Pray about it and don't try to get any professional help. Brainwashed sheep that follow a religion but don't know what the religion is about, really pathetic.

The elderly woman supervisor was rude and shpuld have served all patrons willing to purchase their ' over used ' second hand items. I have shopped for 13 years at the yearly yard sale, spending between 3-500 dollars every year to help support the missionaries from this church and suggest all patrons find a more christian like following any place of worship but at calvary baptist church in oildale ca. A deacon stated that she would pick up medication but, another deacon dropped off a check to me when I'm homebound and, the cost of the meds had risen by the time I received the check. A shed in a box does me no good. My house was never unpacked. My belongings were destroyed outside and, Pastor Scott nor, Pastor Scott could return my calls. I do not have the health to gather a couple people to confront them. Whatever you do unto the least of these, you've done unto me. Jesus They're all accountable to God for their negligence and acts of omissions.

Our goal is to get 700 members in the church. Come down and join us and check it out for yourself. Victory outreach has food and drinks available for purchase.
