They make all parents buy uniforms and require students to have uniforms on all year yet all staff and mainly PSG staff come to school without uniform and skimpy shorts and outfits. They talk about Christian guidance, yet their teachers have visible tattoos for elementary school children to see. The ONLY people in charge at Heritage are PSG staff, and the parent participation hours PSG they decide how much time they give you and if you meet their quota. It doesn't matter how much you participate they decide to milk you and still make you pay the $300 parent hours fee at the end of the year, well that is if you are not on PSG team or a hefty donator. PSG meetings are a joke they are never on time, just eating on camera and they don't even make an effort to give their zoom meeting ID to parents, it's very unorganized and unprofessional. If your child is from the PSG they are guaranteed to succeed and made feel special, if you don't donate your child is on his/her own. Teachers won't even acknowledge your child if they are not from one of those donating families or PSG families. My experience was awful and my child's worst, my child was ignored all year and fell behind and was borderline all year, the teacher never showed care or compassion and didn't care about child growth or progress. They incite physical altercations by failing to protect the students. Teachers are great, but office staff and especially the vice and campus supervisor are terrible and shouldnt really be around kids with the way the make decision regarding childrens safety. Tonight I attended EBHS's play Grease. They had a small "consignment" where they sold chips, candy, and THEE cutest themed cookies (wished I would have taken a picture before I devoured one of them!). I bought 3 cookies, two for my kiddos and one for me. We were given a program of the play and we quickly chose our seats. We got aisle seats on the middle left side of the auditorium. Before the play started, (as usual) I had to use the restrooms. Being at a school function I was a bit worried that it would be not up to par, but it was clean and all necessities were well stocked! The play started promptly at 7pm. The students and staff did an amazing job! Was this really a school play? They looked like pros! The costumes were on-point, and the stage looked like it was out of a professional Broadway play. Great job everybody! Now, I had to take a star because of the sound. Although you can tell the kids knew their songs and had angelic voices, it could not overtake the bad speaker sound. At many times it was hard to understand what they were saying while singing. Other than that, the play was great!
