The owner (the Paki dude) is rude and unprofessional. Especially when he sells Cubans to customers for double the market price!

We are not cigar smokers but wanted to buy some cigars as a holiday gift for a dear friend. Churchhill's was our first stop, primarily because it was nearest to us. We were greeted the moment we entered and the gentleman (owner?) was knowledgeable, super kind and helpful and directed us to a gift in our price range from a notable cigar brand. Great cigar lounge with excellent humidor. Comfortable seating and air is well-filtered. Great place to hang out with a coffee and a stick.

The owner really does not want in store smoking . Crazy - right ? Owns a Cigar Lounge but hates in store smokers . He keeps changing the rules and hours and finally has decided to remove all the couches and all but 4 chairs . This is probably the best cigar spot in Atlanta. A hidden gem in the city everyone from the owners to the front line crew are courteous and respectful. I smoke quite often and when I smoke I like a relaxed none-clubish atmosphere. I find that vibe at Churchill. Thanks Greg, Jack and of course Shafi for providing the dopest lounge in the city. i have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. i am not a cigar smoker, but was recommended to come here by a friend of mine's dad who loves this place! i called to see if they had the cigar in stock i was looking for, and Michael was super nice and told me he would help me when i came in. when i got there, i told him how i didn't know much about cigars and was giving a gift to the director of a movie i was working on at the time. he was very meticulous, and walked me through every cigar he thought was of note. he kept me within my budget, and even organized the box for me in order of how they smoke! if i ever have to pick up for any other occasion i will 100% go back here and see my dude Michael! Often while traveling I'll stop by a local cigar lounge to have a good cigar and relax. I stopped by Churchill's tonight to have a cigar and was greeted by the owner. He was very personable and accommodating. He made a few recommendations and we chopped it up a little while the the Michigan / Oregon game. Very knowledgeable and really knew his stuff when it came to cigars. This is going to be my go to lounge next time I'm in the area! read more

My review of this establishment is based on a run in I had with the owner. I parked my car slightly over the line of a spot in front of his store and he came out of the store and started screaming at me that I needed to move my car or he was going to call the police. The experience was frightening to say the least as I am a tiny girl and I had this man screaming at me. I would think twice before you give your money to this place. read more

I welcomed the opening of CHURCHILL'S FINE CIGARS like a long-lost brother. It is a beautifully appointed retail cigar shop and smoking lounge with a large well-stock humidor. This is the owner's (Shafiqul Hai) second shop (the successful Scottish Tobacco @ Sidney Marcus and Piedmont) and he has clearly doubled-down with CHURCHILL's. July 10th, 12:00pm. Very rude and abrasive person helping me. I felt unwelcomed as soon as I spoke upon entering the shop. Instead of assisting me with the cigar brand l was looking for, I was being rushed to consider any cigar he suggested. In addition, this guy was negatively assumptive to every statement and question from me. I will definitely not return to this shop and If the guys (Shafi) over at Scottish Tobacco (you guys are great) own this place, check your employee. At this time, I would not recommend this shop! As the new shop on the block, Churchill's Fine Cigars and Lounge is a great place to hangout. The cigar selection can't be beat and matches up perfectly with it's sister-shop, Scottish Tobacco, in Buckhead. Despite having only been open since July, there have been many different events with cigar industry representatives handing out cigars (often in the form of a buy 3 get 1 free format) and drawings for give-aways. In addition to bringing in representatives from the major players in the cigar industry, the staff is also very knowledgeable and can help you find a great smoke, be it your first, or 5000th. The retail space here is fairly small, but that is due to a great lounge setup. There are 4 segments of seating, as I would call it, all with their own cocktail/coffee table on which there is an ashtray or two, a cigar torch and cutter. You can also set a drink down on them. The only downside is that there is a city ordinance that prevents them from allowing any alcohol (no scotch with my stogie). Overall, I highly recommend Churchill Fine Cigars if you are over in the Sandy Springs area, and the sister store, Scottish Tobacco, if you are in Buckhead. It is hard to find another cigar shop anywhere else with an experience as good as these two. read more
