But I think (as I've seen in some Portuguese eateries) they downplay the salads because they'd rather not deal with them a la lazy. We ordered two picanhas, which were on the daily special and each came with 5 steaks of picanha, a tray of homemade fries, one with rice, and another with black beans. Again, a lot! As for the food itself - it was juicy, and cooked just the way it's supposed to be. The fries were clearly cooked in olive oil, which I love, love, love. A friend however, complained that one of her pieces of picanha was cooked too much and was impossible to chew. So not sure about consistency in their quantity vs quality. We were overcharged and if you know, Portuguese prices, you know that for those two basic meals that €35 is way too much money. They added an outrageous price for appetizers that we never ordered. Anyway, the food was awful and the biggest waste of money so far in Portugal. This happens a lot from what I've heard to tourists in the touristy areas. I would not recommend going here unless they improve the customer service and treat people fairly and more importantly learn how to prepare meals properly. I have been to a lot of restaurants around Porto, Foz, Matosinhos, and Gaia, this is by far the worst one I've been to this past year.
