MY FAVORITE Sevilla churros! So light and fluffy inside and crispy crunchy on the outside. Much better, in my opinion, than the regular churros or the churros that are stuffed inside. Accompanying chocolate was a little runny but still good! Wish I could eat this every day. read more

Had I written this review 5 years ago when my husband and I first tried it, I would have given it 4 stars. However, during my recent visit with my sister and brother-in-law, it was no longer as good as I remembered. In fact, it was a tad salty. And it was the chunky kind (i.e., fat tube), not the thin long churros like the ones in San Gines in Madrid (and in Costco!). It was still OK though. Open on Christmas Day!!! Sister wanted churros and chocolate, so we got churros and hot chocolate. This is an outdoor location with a decent amount of seating outside. Since we had met up with some family friends (total group of 8)- this was the best scenario. Our group size would have never fit together at the same table at the other two places we were at (San Ginés in Madrid and El Comercio in Seville). The hot chocolate was probably my favorite of the three places we went to- it was a lot lighter in color, still somewhat thick but way more drinkable. It was sweeter than San Ginés but not as sweet as El Comercio. Churros were deliciously crispy. Only downside is that it's outside, so less than ideal in cold weather. It was decently warm outside when we went. Tip: closest restrooms are at the Mercado next door! 4/5 read more

We wanted churros so badly but we somehow could never get to a traditional churreria on time since they all close by noon. Saturday morning, almost 4:30 AM, in Sevilla, Andalucia, Spain. My body still had some sufficient energy, with some alcohol inside. My angelic conscious within my mind was asking me, "When are we going to bed soon?" but I was barely sleepy. Earlier that night, my hostess from Gines, her friends, some travelers, and I went exploring all over the Barrio Santa Cruz, drinking at bars, talking about random stuff, and watching Spanish guitar performances. It was probably one the insanest nights I had, but I got to experience the nightlife and soul of Sevilla. We came upon this place. I was looking forward to eating at this place because I have yet to eat one of the the most famous dishes in Spain: churros. Churros are a long fried dough type pastry and usually eaten with coffee or hot chocolate. I remember eating a couple types of churros, one that was covered with chocolate, and one that had either sugar or some sort of cinnamon covered on it. Either way, the churros they serve here are sweetly good, crisp, chewy, fresh out the oven and go really well with a great cup of hot chocolate or a nice cold glass of milk. This place is not much of a restaurant, it's more of a kiosk/market counter where you order your churros. There are a lot of tables and chairs in front, giving it an outdoor cafe feel. Overall, this is a great choice to get churros and some coffee/hot chocolate either as a late night snack or a very early morning breakfast. It's at a great location, by the Guadalquivir river, and near a bridge, so you can probably get some churros and walk to the nearby bridge and enjoy the nice scenery of Sevilla. read more

I'd have to say that this place doesn't serve terrible churros. They're pretty good in general and fantastic when compared to regular churros, but I've definitely had far better ones in Spain. They weren't as light and fluffy as I would expect or like them to be so that was definitely something that I didn't enjoy, but the chocolate was pretty rich so that was a plus! It's a perfect place to stop by for a quick snack, but I've had better churros on my trips to Spain before. read more

A wonderful little place where you simply walk up to the window to order hot and fresh churros. We picked up some churros and chocolate sauce and then watched a May procession for Mary headed to the cathedral. Once we were through with the crowds we walked down to the banks of the river and enjoyed our delicious food while relaxing. read more

Big tubes with a crispy outside but doughy enough inside so the chocolate gets trapped in the nooks and crannies. One of the most authentic and tasty churro experiences I have had in Sevilla thus far. This lovely churro stand is less than a block from my apartment so it is truly a death sentence for any hopes of losing weight while I am here! However, with these churros in existence, who would really want to lose weight?? This place serves up a HEFTY portion of churros for 4€ it is easily enough to share with 3-4 people. They also have nice, thick chocolate! Some places I have been to skimp on the texture of their chocolate but this is the perfect thickness! Also, BONUS! And there are two types...the long ones that are fried in a wheel then cut of the short 4" loops. These Churros are on point! The cost is 4€ and that gets you a plate of Churros and your choice of drink, chocolate or coffee. Coffee sucks, so go for the hot chocolate. I tried the airy-fluffy Churros(recommended)cuz the other Churros I can basically eat anywhere in Los Angeles. The dude does not accept credit card, so make sure you have enough cash.
