I've had Amorino in Boston and now in Spain. They have a wide selection of flavors and they are all delicious. First time I went I was challenged to try all the flavors, I think I had close to 40 (the place was empty, so I wasn't holding the line, and I did order a double scoop after). We stumbled upon not one, but two Amorino locations while strolling along one of Sevilla's main streets next to the beautiful Alcazar palace. Enticed by the aroma of sweet-smelling waffles and beautiful pictures of carefully crafted gelato roses, we decided to stop in at around 8:30pm on a Wednesday night. There was a line, but it moved quickly, as service was very efficient! There are a good amount of flavors to choose from, ranging from the classics, such as Vanilla or Chocolate, ranging to more unique and exotic choices, such as Lychee Raspberry Rose or Bergamot. There are also plenty of sorbets if you are lactose intolerant - my parents shared got a scoop of the Passionfruit sorbet, which was the perfect combination of tart acidity and sweetness - a true homage to the classic South American fruit! I opted for their smallest size (though not the Kids Scoop, as the server informed me that that is "tiny"), and I chose a half scoop each of their 0% Yogurt and their Hazelnut flavor. I found the Small Scoop to be the perfect size, as it allowed me to try two flavors without feeling like I ate too much gelato! The yogurt was an amazing surprise - even though it was 0% Fat Yogurt, it was still wonderfully smooth and creamy, made with very fresh-tasting dairy, and the yogurt itself added a lovely tang! The Hazelnut was rich and flavorful with small chunks of hazelnut, which was a pleasant surprise, as it's often hard to pin down the specific flavor of hazelnut. My brother ended up ordering the Dulce de Leche and Hazelnut flavors in a medium size in a cone. As you can see in the picture, they shaped his gelato into a pretty rose shape, and you could see the visible dulce de leche swirl throughout the scoop! He also loved the Hazelnut flavor, and he said that the Dulce de Leche was perfectly creamy and sweet without being overly cloying, as some Dulce de Leche ice creams/gelatos are! Yes, this gelato was expensive, but you're paying for the Amorino brand name, the great location (very close to Alcazar Palace), and high-quality ingredients. With great service, a sleek aesthetic, and delicious-tasting gelato, this was the perfect stop for a sweltering Sevilla night! read more

We discovered Amorino in Lisbon, then found out it's a chain. We saw 4 within walking distance in Seville city center. We really like this gelato place as it is consistently good. The ingredients tastes natural and flavors are diverse - from creamy vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut types to fruity sorbet. The best part is you can pick as many flavors as you want. The staff will arrange it in a neat looking rose on a cone. No flower if you want it in a cup. Price is reasonable, not cheap, but not outrageously expensive like some tourist trap either. read more

Located right across from the cathedral, the restaurant is clean and quaint, with about 20 interesting flavors (all in Italian!). They also boast lactose free options which comes in handy when traveling with friends who need those accommodations. One of the highlights of Amorino's is how they shape their ice cream cones in the shape of flowers. This place is so cute! I didn't realize it was a chain until I saw more around. I didn't get to try to flower shaped ice cream yet but I did have the hot chocolate which was phenomenal. We tried two flavors, coco and Blanco. They have several to choose from. And I got whipped cream too. It was just such a good dessert and the perfect size. I really like this place. Fantastic flavors and good selection. The only downside was the unhappiness of the clerks. I realize they have had a long tourist season, and many tourists must be exhausting, but it would be nice to see smiles and a bit of appreciation for the tourist business. I realize Amorino is a chain (that also exists in the US), but the gelato here just couldn't be beat. Flavors were spot-on, presentation was perfect for tasteful pictures, and service was great. Prices were high (around 3.60 for a small compared to 2.50 at other joints), but you pay for what you get. Definitely recommend maxing out the number of flavors you are allowed to get (3). read more
