The coffee was absolutely delicious it was bold, smooth and had just the right amount of sugar. The carne asada quesadillas I got were tender, warm and the perfect balance between savory and salty. We were seated almost immediately and our server was attentive from the start, which was a pleasant surprise considering how busy it was. I ordered the small pozole, and it was exactly what I needed. It was flavorful, comforting, and the small portion was actually the perfect size for a late-night meal. My honey ordered the chilaquiles, and unfortunately they didn't quite live up to expectations. He was hoping for bolder flavors and a little more spice, but found them a bit bland. Overall, it was a good experience thanks to the quick service and satisfying pozole. I'd happily come back for the pozole, but I'd probably try something different than the chilaquiles next time.

After the food was brought to our table, no one came back to check on us. There was no follow-up for side dishes, additional orders, clearing plates, or asking if everything was okay. The dining area seemed understaffed, and table service was almost nonexistent. Because of that, I decided not to leave a tip. In Mexico, tipping is voluntary and should reflect the service received. When I paid without leaving a tip, the person in charge questioned me about it persistently in a rude and uncomfortable way. Other customers nearby noticed, and my friend was also confused by the situation. When I asked for a receipt, I did not receive a polite explanation and was simply told to check the QR code myself. The food was also disappointing. I would not return or recommend this restaurant based on the service and payment experience.

I was actually sitting at the coffee shop next door, and I saw this reafaurant and I realized that I was hu gry. They had the pollo pechuga that I like, plus they had wings which was a plus. A comforting stew of hominy and meat and layers of flavor. The pozole at Pozoleria Teoixtia is so very good. We had the blanco with chicken and the rojo with pork. (You can choose your meat.) The blanco was the chicken soup you wish your grandmother made. The rojo was heartier and so very flavorful. Add aquacate (avocado) and you're all set. Great service, reasonably priced.

We are pleasantly surprised with authentic Korean food in CDMX, totally unexpected :)…read more Food is good and reasonable priced, LA Galbi honestly is better than some of the ones I found in the states... not the best but has good flavor and lean meat (good when you are fighting a stomach bug in Mexico lol). I know that it can be hard to get foreign ingredients in Mexico even though it's gotten a lot better than when I lived there. The banchan were mostly good and abundant. One kimchi was a little too fermented and all were bland, but overall ok. The dolsot bibimbap had few ingredients, just the rice, some spinach, egg and came with some kind of beef paste that didn't taste like gochujang. My husband found it edible, but bland. There is a mistake on the download menu, which I assumed would be more accurate than the physical menu. I ordered seafood soon dubu jigae and got boiled water with a few pieces of zucchini and rawish supermarket mushrooms. I expected the customary silky smooth tofu, but instead it was an unappetizing mess of curdled soy milk. There was no spice from gochgaru or gochujang, just boiled unsalted vegetable water. It was entirely inedible. I ate some rice and banchan. The server first told me I had ordered the wrong dish even though their menu was incorrect. He later offered to redo the order to my liking, but I did not trust that it would be any better. They were very kind and removed the charge. I guess some people found the decor understated elegant. To me it was funeral. This is an expensive restaurant with accommodating owner and staff, but without good food or ambiance. I don't recommend it.

Other than great ambiance and service, I can't say I was too impressed with the food itself. It definitely satisfied our Italian food cravings, but it probably isn't the best you can find in CDMX.
