Luxury. Tech. Vibes. This is the gym El Paso's been waiting for…read more I found it, y'all -- the it gym. Kinective Fitness in El Paso is where fitness, fun, and a little bit of bougie all collide in the best way possible. This place is more than a gym -- it's a two-story-plus-rooftop experience that somehow manages to feel upscale and welcoming. Think boutique hotel vibes meet high-tech wellness playground. Let's start with the first floor: it's stunning. The aesthetic is modern, spacious, and designed with intention -- every detail feels thought out. The front desk team was so friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in (even when I had a little misunderstanding about my visit -- more on that later). There's a healthy café right by the entrance serving smoothies and food that fits every lifestyle, including vegan options. They even have a secret door that leads to a massage therapist's suite -- yes, an actual hidden door. There's also a retail section stocked with Lululemon and gym swag, so if you forget something, they've got you covered. Parents, take note -- there's also an on-site kids' daycare on the first floor, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. It's clean, bright, and makes it so much easier for members with little ones to actually enjoy their workout time without stress. The first floor also houses the HIIT training room -- dark, moody lighting, TRX straps, and those curved, motorless treadmills that make you feel like a machine. MetCon classes happen here too, and if you're serious about lifting, you'll find top-notch equipment plus unique tools for competitors or physique athletes. You'll also spot the personal training offices, a compression therapy area (available for an extra fee), and super clean locker rooms with everything -- infrared sauna, steam room, zero-gravity massage chairs, tons of vanity space, and more showers than I could count. The second floor keeps the wow factor going with tons of cardio equipment overlooking the first level and massive windows with mountain views. This is also where you'll find The Trip, and honestly, this alone makes the membership worth it. The Trip is a next-level immersive cycle class -- think virtual-reality-meets-spin-studio. You ride through projected worlds on enormous screens, and it's all synced to music and visuals. The bikes are smooth, and the tech setup is seriously impressive. You even check in via small digital screens before class. That said, my only real miss came during The Trip. As a first-time guest, I didn't get any help setting up my bike, and the instructor didn't acknowledge new riders. Thankfully, another member helped me out -- shoutout to friendly gym people everywhere -- but I wish someone had guided me through that first experience. It's a small thing that makes a big difference, especially in a high-end gym like this. After class, I met Jeff, the general manager, who gave me a full tour -- and he was phenomenal. Super professional, friendly, and passionate about the space. He explained how every class syncs to your Connective app, showing your heart rate and stats in real-time on giant projectors (unless you choose to opt out). It's all very tech-forward, which I love. Upstairs you'll also find Pilates Reformer classes (extra fee), yoga and barre studios, and even a meditation-only room -- dark, quiet, with twinkling ceiling lights and soft music. It's honestly a dream. Every floor has its own bathrooms (thank you!), and everything is spotless and thoughtfully designed. And then -- the rooftop. The vibe up here is unreal. There's a track for running or walking, kettlebells, monkey bars, and a full outdoor workout setup with mountain views. At night, it transforms into this elevated hangout space with misters, ambient lighting, and even a bar serving drinks. They host events up here too, and you don't have to be a member to book one. I came in on a free trial day, but you'd never know it from how I was treated -- the staff was wonderful, and I felt like a valued member. They also offer day passes, week passes, and flexible memberships. So, the hits? Pretty much everything. The design, the energy, the tech, the amenities -- this place nails the luxury fitness experience. The misses? Just a couple small service gaps during my first visit. But overall, Kinective Fitness is absolutely the boutique gym of El Paso -- where wellness meets wow. There's a second location coming soon ! (Plano , TX)

More than 450 calories at the end which directly contributes to donation of cash to your favorite not-for-profit. Love the concept. Did you know? This is what I'd call the perfect lunchtime workout. It's short, it's to the point, and it's a…read moretotal vibe. You're in, you're out, and you get a great sweat in without derailing your day. Plus, there's a shower (huge win), multiple bathrooms, and a water station -- all things that make a mid-day class actually doable. What I Liked: * Outstanding customer service and outreach. Before I even stepped into my first class, I got a call, text, and email -- all friendly, professional, and super helpful. They even follow up afterward, which shows they care about building real relationships. * Top-notch coaching and community. Every coach I interacted with was phenomenal. They give you a full tour, introduce you to other members before class, and explain everything thoroughly. The environment feels really welcoming, with a nice mix of FIT regulars and people newer to their fitness journey. * The workout itself. It's that functional fitness franchise model we've all seen -- but with its own flair. It's high-energy, fun, and easy to tailor to your level. I took an upper-body (arms) workout and it hit all the right notes. * Warm-up, finisher, and stretching. We started with a proper warm-up, which I always appreciate, and ended with a core finisher on the floor that was surprisingly tough -- in a good way. I loved that they wrapped it up with some stretching afterward. It felt balanced and intentional from start to finish. * The setup and vibe. The lighting was phenomenal, the sound system and microphone were on point, and the music choice was great. I loved the projector screen announcements -- such a professional touch -- and the club-style lighting really elevated the energy in the room. * Tech + instruction. You get a mix of live, verbal coaching and virtual instruction on the screens, which I actually really liked. It keeps you moving without confusion. * Amenities & details. Clean facilities, well-organized stations, and great overall flow. And yes, they've got some pretty solid swag (even if a little overpriced). * Potential for growth. I could definitely see this franchise expanding across the Southwest. I'm already looking forward to their East Lake El Paso location opening. What Could Be Better: * No ClassPass access. That's a tough one for travelers or anyone trying to sample studios before committing. * Easy to slack if you're not self-motivated. Since it's a self-paced station setup, you really have to push yourself to get the most out of it. If you've got that internal drive, though, it's a great system. * Swag pricing. Like I said -- love the merch, just wish it was a little more reasonable. * Station layout and class size potential. The instructor mentioned the class can hold up to 42 people, which honestly seems wild. I only had about 15 in mine, and even then, the stations weren't anywhere near each other -- I was running from one end of the room to the other every time the timer went off. I actually like the timers, but the setup felt chaotic. I can't imagine 40+ people doing that at once without bumping into each other. I get that it adds steps, but having the stations in order would make a lot more sense. * No mats for floor work. The finisher and stretching were great, but doing them directly on the floor wasn't ideal -- especially after getting sweaty. A mat option would make that part a lot more comfortable and hygienic. Overall, this was a great experience. The staff, the energy, and the format all make it a fun and effective workout. I left feeling accomplished, not exhausted, and I'd definitely come back.

It's a nice looking spacious club (2 stories high) and bigger than it looks on the outside. The 1st floor had weights (machines and free weights. They also have a sauna in the women's locker room and an aqua jet massage room. The daycare is also on the 1st floor and the highest monthly plan includes childcare for 2 hours (18+months and older). The 2nd floor has cardio machines, and a room for women specifically, which was pretty cool. There were separate classrooms for yoga/Zumba, cycling, HIIT classes with rowing and stair machines, and a class for boxing with equipment. All in all it's a pretty good value for the prices. $10/mo per person for just access to the gym $44/mo per person for the highest level with classes and childcare But if you have insurance, you might be able to enroll into their Active and Fit or Silver Sneakers plan and it drops it to $25/mo per person. They're open M-Thu 5am-midnight, Friday 5am-10pm, Sat 8am-7pm, Sun 9am-7pm I'm hoping to get them to host another free trial with childcare for moms in the morning time to try them out next quarter...stay tuned!
