Thank you for your response…read more I understand and respect that safety comes first, and I am not asking your staff to compromise safety procedures or rush through an orientation. That is not the issue. The issue is that I called ahead before making the trip specifically to explain my situation. I explained that I was a monthly member, that I wanted to bring a guest using one of my guest passes, and that we were traveling from downtown Tucson. If I had been told over the phone that my guest would not be able to climb under those circumstances, I simply would not have made the trip. Instead, I drove all the way from downtown, paid for transportation, and had my friend take time out of his day to bring me there, only to be turned away after we arrived. That was frustrating because it could have been completely avoided with accurate communication before I left. Your explanation of the policy makes sense. However, it does not address why I was not informed of that policy when I called ahead. Had I been given the correct information, neither my time, my money, nor my friend's time would have been wasted. As a paying monthly member, I expected clear communication so I could make an informed decision before traveling. My frustration is not with the existence of the policy itself; it is with the lack of communication that led to an unnecessary trip. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so other members do not have the same experience. Thank you.

We have participated in many of their adult play nights and now they have a morning weekly group for adults.. so cool! Each of their sessions offers cooperative and low-pressure games for a wide range of abilities. It's so fun connecting with others in the community. I've also had the pleasure of hosting team building events here and their staff is amazing at facilitating activities that meet the needs of the group. This space is so appreciated! They fill a gap for the community that no one else offers.

It was $50 a couple and all proceeds went to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which we loved supporting! We played fun mirroring and listening games with your date. It was nice to not have a screen and focus on listening and being present while having fun. We also played some group games that involved moderate activity and competition. There was also some free time to explore the facility and the various things to climb, slide, jump on/ off and of course Gaga ball. Coach Kevin and Anna have an amazing local business that we were excited to support and it was super fun to have this experience with some friends that we went to this with.

My girlfriends and I wanted to spend two days climbing on Mount Lemmon over Thanksgiving weekend…read more 2 of us were somewhat rusty, intermediate climbers, and 1 of us was a novice, who had never climbed outdoors before. Since we were unfamiliar with the terrain, and really just wanted to maximise our time actually climbing, rather than dealing with setting up routes, we opted to hire a professional guide. My friend, Rebecca, had spent a significant amount of time researching and comparing all the different guide services in the area, before selecting James. We were not disappointed! James was thoroughly courteous, professional and accommodating from the get-go, and provided us with a climbing experience that was customised to our respective skill levels and interests. My friend, Lisa, who was new to outdoor climbing, was extremely nervous and anxious when we first started. James was unendingly patient with her, and literally talked her through each and every climb no matter how long it took. We ran over our allotted time on the first day, but James wouldn't even hear of accepting extra payment. By the end of the second day, Lisa had "found her feet," thanks in no small part to James' coaching and encouragement, and was tackling her climbs with utmost confidence. In short, James truly went above and beyond to make our Mount Lemmon climbing experience one to remember. Highly recommend!

Mount Lemmon and the Catalina Highway, AZ. Early Dec, 2025. Mount Lemmon, the highest peak…read more(9,175') in the Santa Catalina Mountains near Tucson, is managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service as part of the Coronado National Forest. (Fun Fact: Mt. Lemmon is named after Sara Plummer Lemmon, an amateur botanist and the first white woman to climb to the summit in 1881. It is one of the few peaks in the U.S. named after a woman). Our objective was to drive the Catalina Highway Scenic Drive (27 miles) to the Mount Lemmon summit. This is the only paved road that leads to the upper reaches of the Santa Catalina Range, and is one of the most scenic highways in the southwest. Because the road starts in the lower Sonoran vegetative life zone and climbs to high forests, it offers the biological equivalent of driving from the deserts of Mexico to the forests of Canada in only 27 miles. Before proceeding on the drive, we downloaded a free app entitled "Mt. Lemmon Science Tour" by the University of Arizona, which provided excellent commentary on the Sky islands, rocks, life zones, water, forest, and fire, that was well-synced with our drive up the mountain as it evolved. This is a windy, slow drive with the posted speed limit of 35 MPH or less on most sections. Plus, you're sharing the road with bicyclists riding in both directions. The road is paved, and is well-designed with frequent pull-offs and stops that allow for vista views or just to take a rest. A few of our favorite and recommended stops include: *Babad Do'ag for its excellent vistas of the desert environment and saguaros. *Gordon Hirabayashi Campground (and Historical Recreation Area). I've reviewed this separately on Yelp. *The Palisades Visitor Center, with family-friendly exhibits, brochures and general information, and a small gift shop. *Windy Point Vista, for sweeping views. *High-elevation picnic areas at Box Elder, Alder, Loma Linda, or Inspiration Rock. *Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley, where there is a restaurant and ski lift rides ($). We were disappointed that the entrance road to Rose Canyon Lake was closed on the day that we visited. This is a Forest Service fee area. A day-use pass is $8 per vehicle, and can be purchased on-line or at the Palisades Visitors Center on-route. We didn't have time to hike on the day that we visited but there are miles and miles of trails of varying length and difficulty. While there are restrooms with pit toilets at multiple sites, but there is no potable water nor service stations. I've posted a handout about the area that I picked up at the Visitors Center. Only Spanish-language brochures were available.
