My Gym is such a fun indoor activity for kids! The practice and plays are a perfect way for my son to let out energy climbing, jumping and exploring. It's $10 to drop in to a practice and play time if you're not a member. I personally find the memberships to be a bit expensive so love this option. You need to have grip socks, which they sell or you can bring your own. I love that they redo the set up of the gym each week so it's a new experience each time. We love mygym! We've been to a couple classes as well as a birthday party here and always have a great time! Both boys have enjoyed it at varying ages from 6/7 months through 4 years old (so far!). Friendly, interactive staff, fun activities and lots to do/climb and jump on! Bummed they discontinued the private 'playdates' you could schedule with a few friends on the weekends! I understand it was a 'COVID' time thing, but would love to see it brought back! read more

This place is wonderful and the only one like it in Tucson. I did a one week trial with them to try out their Tiny Tykes class since I had the week off due to spring break. My goal was to socialize my girl with more babies since she attends an on home and is the only baby there. The classes included circle time, yoga, an adventure (usually sensory play of some sort), swing/bouncers, working on a skill, and a little bit of time for free play and socializing sprinkled in between. We even attended a few free play sessions and I loved how involved the staff were with the kids. There was no just walking around and supervising. The staff got right in with the kids, letting them lead on what they wanted to do. They really helped the kids make the most of the hour. I also observed how great they guided the kids in social situations. They really emphasized the importance of sharing, taking turns, helping each other, and just being kind. I am no longer able to attend tiny tykes, but we look forward to attending waddlers every Saturday and having her first birthday party here! read more

I started my granddaughter, nearly 18 months old, in the Waddler's class. Initially she was shy and hesitant to participate, but she now claps along to the welcome song, loves warming up and is gaining confidence in climbing, bouncing on the trampoline and other activities. Her favorite time is swing time. She has moved up to the next age group and has benefited from watching older kiddos. The staff is fabulous! I love taking my daughter to My Gym and she also loves coming! It's a great place to socialize with other moms with similar aged kids as well as your kid to socialize with other kids. My daughter has learned a lot - from dancing and singing to somersaulting and working on her motor skills. Your membership includes one weekly class and 3 open gym sessions - great for these hot summer months. They offer Parents Night Out programs for 2+ year-old (must be potty trained). They also have social events which change monthly such as Moms Night Out (Paint & Sip), essential oil events, and more. Very disappointed to learn the Gymboree stay & plays went out of business before I moved to Tucson... After lots of research based on others reviews, costs and cleanliness... Decided to try My Gym. You get a free trial class. My kid wanted nothing to do with group time but to spend all her time in the ball pit..... But since she's not in day care or anything I wanted to expose her to other kids and activities. I saw there was a groupon, which was an incredible deal, highly suggests looking into that first, takes care of that expensive lifetime membership fee...... After three classes, my child loves group time and usually, she's still a toddler, participates in most of the activities. It's a 40 minute weekly drive, but incredibly worth it. read more

Absolutely, hands down the best fun spot for littles in Tucson! I always always feel so welcomed here and my daughter feels it too because she loves all the teachers! The teachers always remembers your name (how do they do that with so many?) and there is a sense of real community here. Even though the space isn't huge every week we go the gym looks different and there is always something fun and new! You can tell they really care about making each class special and different from the last. My daughter now knows all the songs and will actually sit for circle time (which is hard to sit still for a 2 year old). This girls swings on the bars, jumps on the trampoline like a champ, and walks the beams with no help. I can tell you she has really grown in her skill and confidence since her first class and that is a beautiful thing to see! read more

We love My Gym in Oro Valley! The teachers always treat my girls amazing and make them feel important. They remember their names and always engage them during group play times. The teachers all seem to be there for the right reasons. They keep up a positive energized vibe that keeps me coming back for weekly classes with my 3 year old. This place is pretty cool. During "classes" things are ever changing much to the delight of the kids. From swings to slides...ball pits to bouncers... bubbles to construction cones. Ive been meaning to write this review for some time. My child and I attended this location for a couple months. It was very clean and the instructors were always very kind and fun. We canceled our membership though because of the high incidence of sickness. My child attends many diverse enrichment activities and never got more sick more often then when we were attending My Gym. As a health care professional I would notice parents bringing there visibly sick children into class on a routine bases and there is no policy in place to stop them. This is especially true during the Fall months. I understand that parents want to be able to talk to other parents, but at what cost to the other children. If your child looks, acts, or displays signs of being sick keep them at home for there own good and the good of others. read more

My son is almost two years old and loves it here. I bought a deal from Amazon Local which comes with 4 classes. The instructors were very kid friendly and set up different stations. I liked that it wasn't crowded and that my son could go to whatever station he wanted to. Also, one of the instructors did a mini puppet show at the end of the class that the kids seemed to enjoy. First class is free- why not, I thought! My gym is tucked into a strip mall. It is located right next to Sweet Repeats, a decent used kids consignment shop worthy of a stop. As you enter there are cubicles for your shoes and stroller storage. Kids go barefoot and adults wear socks. If you forget your socks they have some you can borrow. Before classes start kids get to free play. We bee lined it for the ball pit. Clear choice. Sadly, my two year old did not want to exit said ball pit upon the class beginning- starting it off on a rather sour note. Anywho, we sat in the circle did our introductions, sang songs, and identified body parts all while crying. I can't blame her, she was in a brand new place filled with cool stuff that she had to ignore while trying to participate. She wanted no part of the balance beam or the rock climbing. But when I saw the "big event" as they call it- there was no telling this mama no... do it for mama as mama can't fit on the swing hooked up to the zip line running from the playhouse to the ball pit... Next up was what time is it Mr. Fox. Each activity focused on an objective like balance or grip, for example. Then finish up with some more free play. Sweet beach balls were suspended by rope from the ceiling- pretty entertaining. There were two trampolines, slides, mats, balls you can get in the middle of and roll around, basketball hoops, rock climbing walls... plenty of options. I dig it. Plus, they have parents night out where you can drop your munchkins off for four hours. Seeing that I have not had a date with my beloved in two years it is tempting. I believe you can even participate if you do not have a membership. Classes are 80 a month for toddlers. Infant classes run 35. A lifetime membership fee is 75 but there was an introductory offer for 10 bucks. Did I sign up? Not this go around but it's still on my radar. If I lived closer I would be all over this place. I found it an educational, fun way to socialize and build new skill sets. read more

My family discovered My Gym early in 2018 after permanently moving from San Diego to Tucson. We started off at their Pre School Prep along with their camps & they have been a blessing to us! I have 2 girls ages 3 & 4 and My Gym has been nothing but amazing for us. We haven't found anything that is as welcoming & fun as this place is. My girls take a weekly class, frequent open play & parents night out! All the teachers are wonderful, so kind and loving towards all the kids. Everyday is a good day here! My oldest daughter just celebrated her early 5th birthday here and we were so happy with everything. Not only did they make my life easier by planning & supplying everything but all her friends had such a great time! This center is for all ages, so many different classes that accommodates every child's needs. Our family is grateful to have found such a wonderful establishment. If you are looking for a place where your kids will be safe & have so much fun, I highly recommend it. read more

If they're going to charge $25 for a 50 minute class that consisted of kicking a ball once, hitting a ball once, walking 4 feet on stilts, and rolling once over a big ball, I'd expect a little more enthusiasm from the "teacher". She was totally lacking any kind of energy; it seemed like she didn't enjoy her job, just going through the motions. We arrived (after an hour drive) bright and early Monday morning for a preschool class after reading online that "the first class is always free!" Perfect! I thought. I had been looking for things for my son to do since we're here for the summer visiting family. After being told it wasn't really a class we'd want to take- it's a drop off/school prep class- we said ok, we'll be back tomorrow for a play class. There was no mention of a cost. Still assuming "the first class is always free", we made the hour trek once again the next morning only to find out we'd be charged a drop-in fee. Sure, whatever. We're already here. Let's just do the class and pay at the end. I was completely shocked when we were told it would be $25. For the drop in class. That was 50 minutes. I asked several times if that was really the drop in fee for THIS class. Yes, that's right, OR we could pay $60 for a membership and come back for open play and pay only $5. ?!?!?! I think the guy saw my stunned expression and offered us a deal: he'll use the $25 for a credit on our account and we can still come for the $5 open play. Thank you. read more

The good: My son has been enrolled in My Gym since he was about 9 weeks old. He is now 15 months old and still attends the weekly classes, and even attends an "Open Play" here-and-there. He has become very strong and independent, which is in part thanks to My Gym and the staff. I feel the monthly fee is reasonable for what is offered, and I see my son attending for many years to come. The not-so-good: I would love for there to be more "Parent's Nights Out" geared for children under 2 years of age. I also find the climate to be a little too warm at times, since the children run and play at such an energetic pace. read more

They love the staff, the activities, the environment, and getting to know other children who like to be active. I personally think that it is a place for those who don't know how to entertain their kids and how to waste their money. Basic things, nothing special for the price which is way too high. What I did not like about the staff is that they try to hook you talking about "a special deal if you sign up today only". $70 per child per month to bring your kid once a week plus $50 registration? Any playground in Tucson can be no less exciting than this one. I brought my one-year-old free of charge to try it. In my opinion, quality part-time daycare for the same money is way more exciting for kids. read more

We have taken our daughter to My Gym for the last two years and absolutely love it! She has a timid personality but the friendly and fun staff always make her feel welcome and excited about class. Although it is a great all year round activity we are always especially thankful for My Gym in the summertime. A nice cool place for our daughter to play, learn and get out her energy. We have held her second and third birthday parties at My Gym. The staff does an amazing job personalizing the party to a theme and engaging children of all ages. Plus, with their set-up and clean-up it makes our job as a parent so easy. You actually get to enjoy your child's day and take pictures instead of worrying about host/hostess duties.
