The Cibo express has just about everything a traveler who is between flights could want. Yes, having a leisurely meal in an airport restaurant is good, but Cibo Express does a great job offering cold water when time is tight, plus a variety of snacks and magazines. Prices are about average for an airport kiosk and they have a nice selection of food options. I would recommend them, sometimes you're rushed when catching the next flight, and Cibo Express will definitely come to your rescue. In the early morning this is your only option really in c for food. A magazine cost me 15 dollars where it is normally 5 and a snack pack I can get at the store for 3 dollars was 12. I got a turkey Swiss croissant sandwich, bag of chips and a Pepsi at the one near gate C37. The bottom of the croissant was dripping, wet, water squeezed out every time I tried to take a bite. I just took the bottom off. The Swiss cheese was hard around all of the edges. The lettuce was brown and wilted. The Pepsi lid was warm, the lid was not even sealed on tight, I took one sip and was flat and throw it away. $24 for the worst food I've ever eaten in my life. Do better. read more

4 Stars for a quick shop at the airport with all kinds of fancy chips and gourmet organic goodies. This ain't your momma's airport kiosk. I spent a good ten minutes walking around and looking through the unusual snack items. If there's a fruit or veggie you want dried, baked, or made into chips, this is your spot. Rather than just offering the yogurt and pre-made sandwiches you'd expect (though they have these too), CIBO goes all out on their offerings. Many types of water (though no sparkling-- which was a bummer), including an Icelandic brand I've never seen before, juices, and even Soylent (Mel replacement drink that's pretty niche). They also have tables of local items, so if you waited last minute to get someone a Houston gift, go for an array of local eats in lieu of a T-shirt or tzatchkie (autocorrect is not helping me spell that damn word!). The snacks are a bit pricey, but I'd take them over the sugary, over processed junk you normally find at the airport. Definitely a place I'd stop again for pre-flight snacks and maybe a few fun gifts. read more

The IAH Terminal C kiosk for snacks is the worst I've had the displeasure of interacting with in over 30 countries I've visited. There is no attendant and i could not find a single price in any food or drink item. All I wanted was a cheap bottle of water. There were probably half a dozen choices but no prices. read more

The guy, his name is Wilson Jake kept the item and texted his manager my card nr to return my money.He said it would take a few hours but by then I'm up in the air. I never thought an establishment in an airport could be crooks and thieves. I was in a hurry and with that also stupid. Been calling a 10000 phone nr to the airport, No one has terminal C store number, what kind of business is this??? No way this haven't happened before and they trust that passengers will be far away and can't reach them for their refund. How can this be Legal????? Pricey, but very clean, organized, and eclectic convenience store located at Terminal B offering higher-end products ranging from gourmet totables, such as sandwiches, wraps, and burritos, non-GMO juices and coconut waters, hard-to-find Deep River non-GMO chips of various flavors (Zesty Jalapeno or Black Truffle, anyone) and Coconut-Banana chips and Caramel Toasted Colada Cashews - how on earth did I miss checking those out?? Oh, yeah, I had a plane to catch! I asked a friendly young male rep if there was a section of "made in Texas" products, and he took me a table at the center of the store that held unique gourmet items, such as cookies- Wackym's Kitchen Hatch Chile Cheese Nibbles or Butterscotch shortbread, made with barrel-aged scotch, anyone?- and Aunt Aggie De's Creamy Pecan Pralines, and even Jammit Jam gourmet jams made with natural cane sugar- another product I wished I'd noticed while at the store (and not while studying the photos I took). There were also gadgets, books, magazines, and clothing to peruse through. Bought a few edible souvenirs with the little time I had to spare. There were about six iPad self-checkout stations, as well as the main cashier, and many clerks nearby- so very convenient! Excellent salad for 10.25!!! Everything looked fresh. The shelves were organized with a reasonable selection of traveler " do not die from airplane food" survival food. I am a little stymied by the self-serve aspect of all this. I asked an attendant " do people ever cheat an dnot pay?" his response, "undoubtedly". Hmm, so the cost of having an employee is less than what might be stolen? Interesting. I hate to see all do it yourself sites as this reduces jobs for peole and intensifies the impersonality of airports. The salad was good enough to get another on return trip. read more
