Arriving from Cali into Bush airport terminal E was a smooth and quick experience, especially since I only had a carry-on with no check bags. once we landed , the walk through exit door were automatic and easy to navigate, leading directly towards the arid al pickup area and bus shuttle connections. Everything seem straightforward, and I didn't have to deal with baggage claim delays, which made getting out much faster. The signage was clear enough to follow without confusion, and the flow from the gate to ground transportation was pretty effcient even with other passengers arriving at the same time. Overall a simple and easy arrival back into Houston through terminal E. I would love to get this terminal each time I arrive home. Could be because we had a light passage haul even though we were on a larger craft. read more

Not sure why I have not previously reviewed this terminal, but better late than never. I've flown out of here a few times. It's an international terminal (I flew directly to Japan from here.), but it also seems like an overflow terminal, as I have flown United to Newark and Las Vegas from this spot. Either way, it has all the amenities of the other terminals and is right around the corner from Terminal C. read more

Arrived at 11pm and have a 7 hour layover which is fine I knew what I signed up for. However... the seats at this airport are the most uncomfortable and inconvenient chairs I've ever seen at a "nice" airport. I genuinely was filled with rage and people were sleeping on the cold hard floor than the seats. Sure the dining and shops are cool but they could invest way more in their seating. Especially when it's an international airport where there are many long overnight layovers. What are these metal bars between every seat... like why is it all of them not just a couple. read more

Really no complaints here besides, there should be a bathroom and trash receptacle available upon exiting the aircraft and entering customs. The lines moved quickly and the staff were fairly pleasant. read more

We flew out of terminal E on United to SFO. The terminal looks modern and clean after the renovation. They even had a different scanning machine, the old one where you need to lift your arms and form a diamond. The new ones are blue in color that you walked through. However we got TSA pre check so we didn't have to remove shoes and everything stayed in the luggage. There were some arts installation and lots of tables and chairs to sit. read more

We transferred through this terminal on a United Airlines flight and had a great experience. The walkways were wide enough that we never felt cramped, the terminal was warm and inviting, and just a pleasant experience. There was one area where they were doing some renovations/construction, but beyond that, everything was clean and looking brand new. It was one of the nicest terminals I've been to in awhile. I will say I do wish there was maybe a bit more options when it comes to food. Both too and from we had to 'settle' a bit on a quick food option. But, that's always a gamble in an airport as far as I'm concerned. Just know you might not be getting as wide of options than you'd find in a larger airport. In all, I'd have no complains flying through this terminal again. I'd certainly pick it over some other airports placed between the two US coasts that's for sure. read more

The flight from Buenos Aires arrived before 5AM so we were not allowed to leave the plane since customs wasn't open. When the time arrived it was a bit of a walk from our gate to customs. There was only one camera working in Global Entry and everyone was failing. TSA directed each person to the next available agent. Next time they should put an out of service sign so we don't waste the time staring at a camera that clearly doesn't work Luckily I didn't check my bag so I was able to quickly exit and walk over to the connecting flight and redo TSA. More walking but it was fairly quick to complete that early in the AM even with only one line open. Overall 24 minutes to disembark and queue in front the Polaris lounge in terminal E so nice and efficient this trip. read more

I mean... I know it doesn't make much sense to rate an airport because... what's the option? But this airport has outgrown itself and it's a mess from start to finish. The car rental is a bus ride and not very organized or well labeled. The airport itself has held on to the Covid system of serving where it's a QR code to prefer anything from bay bar or restaurant and it's the most ridiculous inconvenient system I've ever seen No one acknowledges you, and there is no body to even ask a question I ordered a beer and it was out, but I already bought it and was charged so there was no recourse, I switched and it wasn't what I wanted. Covid has been over for 5 years now!! How about go back to humans saying hello and getting your order! read more

When my friends and I were here last month, a couple of the eating places in this terminal were closed, which sucked as we didn't have much time before our next flight. It is an airport under construction. We were flying from the terminal E. The check-in area seemed to be brand new, as well as TSAPre checkpoints. Post security the airport looks modern and new, however, the seating at the gates is subpar, seats are old, have tears, and have no power. At least there is a good number of options for sit down food, which is a plus. read more

Arrived from my trip to Cancun. Unfortunately airport transportation was limited to 1 attendant. So the wait was going to be longer, so my people grabbed a wheelchair and wheeled me through. Customs was a breeze because we had the chair. It was about 15 minutes to the end but way better than hours because the line was a beast. The TSA staff are on a power trip here, especially the Chinese guy. I asked him if I need to remove the laptop from my bag. He said that if you ask me any question the answer is yes. One of my kids took her shoes off and was told not to put it back on. The clear quart size bag with liquids stayed in the carry on bag. I used two trays to distribute my stuff and my kids and he dumped it all in one tray. There wasn't much crowd and seemed like an easy hour so don't know why the saltiness. read more

Terminal C parking situations need to be addressed. I had an appointment at 1:45 pm for the American Red Cross blood donation. I got up to the area around 1:00 pm, the lines were backed up with traffic per usual. As soon as I get in the lane for parking in Terminal C. An older Hispanic guy blocking the entrance and lets only one car go, that's in front of me. But as soon as I get to the entrance he tells me I need a reservation ticket. I think to myself, a reservation ticket; wtf is that. Is that something I get online? He says, you need that to park in this parking garage. Then he points to the other line with the flowing traffic and says, Terminal C parking garage is full. Wtf, I again say to myself. How TF does he know that the parking garage is full?! He wasn't holding no device nor had no ear piece in his ear to get radioed in. He was only saying that to prevent me from parking. He then says, you have to park in the Ecopark lot. Puzzled, I merge over and leave. I call the American Red Cross and they tell me: "You need to park in Terminal C and take the shuttle to D". So, I circle back around; sitting in even more traffic than before. I past the Marriott hotel. What a nightmare this is! Now it's 1:45 pm, I get back around to Terminal C. I go back to the same parking entrance for C. This time there's a young light skinned slender black man standing blocking the entrance at C. He says, ma'am you need a reservation. At this point, I used my email to tell him I have a reservation. That I need to get to C to connect with D. He looks at the email and says, "I don't know what kind of information that is, but that's no reservation". "Where's the QR code"? I said, there was no code sent with the email. I really need to get to Terminal C to go to D for the American Red Cross blood drive. He is again hesitates to let me through and says, "I'll just let you go". As I enter, I stop at the ticket booth and get a pink ticket with a tiny QR code on it. "Is this the reservation they are talking about"? I curve around the winding path and get to Level 4. I find parking immediately near the elevators and take it to floor 1. As I get off 1, I follow a group of people to the sign that says, BCDE as I get in the elevator. I'm confused on where to go next, so I say aloud, "Does anyone know how to get to Terminal D?". The friendly travelers, tell me to take the train. I get on the train from C, and don't even realize I should've gotten on the train to the right of the elevators not to the left. The one to the left takes you from C to A to B to Marriott to C then A to B to Marriott and eventually to DE. So I had to play the waiting game. I made small talk with this man who also got on the wrong train. As he was waiting for E. Everyone on the train was very friendly. As we were moving along to B the train completely stops on the tracks. A barrier was preventing the doors from opening. Some people began to panic, after a few seconds the train then it tugged along. I'm not entirely sure how the train is controlled. But that was odd. So, we finally get to Terminal DE. I took the escalators to the right, around the corner, and all the way up to D. I walked past the aquarium mural and took more steps to get to Terminal D. It's around 2:59 pm now, I found the first person on the floor that was helping someone else out of the entire airport. I asked him, "Do you know where I need to go to get to the FCR room"? He leads me directly to the room and makes a joke along the way. That honestly made this experience a little more easier. If you ever need to get to the FCR room on Terminal D take my directions and you'll surely find it. It's adjacent to Qatar airport check in. As far as the parking, I didn't need a reservation as both men told me previously. The parking garage gives out a pink ticket with a QR code on it, I wouldn't have gotten this if they did not let me through. If this happens to you, you really just gotta tell them something just to get into the garage. It's very frustrating and annoying to have to deal with this unfortunate mishap. All I had to pay was $8 exiting the garage and there is plenty of parking inside the garage. There were even more people coming up after me. So, do what you have to do to get in the garage to park. Good luck! It is definitely a headache. read more

Flying out of IAH can be overwhelming as there is lots of construction going on. Get there early to find a parking spot. Walk through parking lot to find the nearest elevator is not working and that you have to walk an extra 9 minutes in the garage to find a working elevator. My advice get there early. Check all your bags. Get TSA pre check to make going through security easier and faster. Then wait to board d your flight, Smile a lot and say thank you often. read more

This airport is large, and depending which gate you're flying through - you might need to take the skyway bus that will take you to your gate. Just last night, I saw at minimum, 7 individuals running in different directions to not miss their flight! Come early if you are unfamiliar with this location. I had a layover from a slightly delayed flight and was still able to make my last flight home. Both times I had come through here for a layover I needed to take the skyway bus and it was nice and comfortable. It's never too full, and there are a few seating options. This airport is also staffed well and I was able to get directions from the front desk of the gate and she had given me great and clear directions. Even being delayed a bit, I was able to take the skyway busy and make it to my gate - no running necessary! There are also so many delicious smelling food options throughout the entire airport. By the time I reached my gate, I could smell the cinnamon and cream cheese from the Cinnabon/auntie Anne's combo location. My gate was right around the corner, so I made it a point to grab a pretzel with 10 min to spare before boarding! I call that a success since I was expecting to eat nothing due to the delay and the transfer flight I couldn't miss. I loved the airport's selection of food and convenience. It was a great spot both times I had come here. read more

Probably the most beautiful terminal at this airport (at least more beautiful than Term A). This is 1 of 2 United terminals and there are many food options and shops here. Free wifi with good connectivity at the airport. TSA security lines are reasonable and with an average of 10 min wait for pre-check. I ended up here for a layover flight. Our incoming terminal was one over from the departing terminal which was great. The decor was nice and there are a few eating spots you could enjoy before your flight if you have time. The only complaint from my short visit is the women's bathroom. I expected that this huge nice airport would have plenty of bathroom stalls. The location by Gate E11, the line was backed up and there are only about 6-7 stalls if I can remember. We had a short layover, so it could be inconvenient if you don't have a lot of time. read more

There's no wipes sanitizer for the terminals. Next tsa they touched my drivers license plus EVERYONE else's. By George, I think we've got it! I'm so glad we got rid of the Bushes though. Both in Presidential and Grooming terms. But anyway. Pretty fancy terminal of a pretty fancy airport for an absolutely spectacular beautiful city which features a lot of business people coming and going which is probably why the airport is one of the nicer ones. Still not one of my favorites though. This terminal is shiny and new compared to the others, but gets really backed up because they seem to divert way too many flights through it, maybe because it's putting their best Bushy foot forward. The food options here are awful, but then that is true about almost every terminal at almost every airport in the world. GRU in SP, I'm not looking at you. read more

LOVE this airport. They totally updated this place - though it has been years since I've been here but what I loved was there's so much seating - with outlets to charge your electronics - plus they have tablets on tables that allow you to play games, order food, check on your flight... And get connected to other apps. When you order your food - you pay on the tablet and they bring you the food! They check in on you - refill the hot water, cold water, whatever. And there's nice music playing too. Great ambiance. Did I say you can check your flight? Just scan your ticket and you can see the current status and the gate. Wish all airports were like this!! This terminal is very clean and bright. I stepped off the plane and was immediately enamored with the energy of the space - all of the bright items in the kiosk adjacent to the gate, the large amount of seats and charging stations all around, and restaurants bustling with people. It was busy but not overly crowded in here and the architecture of the terminal lent itself to a feeling of open space and accessibility. I hasn't been through this terminal previously and was pleasantly surprised by the structure of it as I passed through quickly to get to terminal C for my connecting flight. It is quite a little hike to get over there from this terminal, but a pleasant one at that. Next time I'm here I will eat at the BBQ restaurant in the middle of the concourse so I can sit amongst the beautiful parts of the giant copper still. read more

They have computer stations everywhere! You can use their's or charge your own. You can order food or drinks and play games all while waiting for your flight. They also have a restroom for dogs!! You need to make sure you have enough time between flights if you have a transfer because it can take you up an escalator, on a sky tram then down the escalator just to get to your gate. It took us 20 minutes and we walked a steady pace. But if you happen to be on United and download the app- it will tell you how long it will take and even give you a map read more

Airport is GREAT !!! United airlines Special services ticket counter. Not so great. Agents there don't like you traveling with in cabin pet and will do all they can to not allow them to travel. They are not consistent with their process. Soooo if u wanna travel with a pet go first class cause if u r economy.... They will say ur small dog is "HUGE", yet the pet checking in with their owner in first class that is 2 times larger will be allowed to travel. SMH read more

I've never had much of an issue at George Bush international airport. Since the pandemic it seems to be well kept and cleaned continuously. I have also never had a difficult time going through security, As well as less than 10-30 minute wait to get through TSA. read more
