Was at greenhouse today and Frank who was parking cars was so rude and was being so nasty to be because I asked to park in the lot instead of up on a hill. There was three spots available and the young girl said it was fine to park there and I took the first one I came up to. When I got out of the car..to go get flowers He continued to badger me...saying he doesn't pay people to park cars and I didn't listen ..there was 3 parking spots there I told him I wasn't there to argue with him I just wanted to get my flowers When I came out he continued to badger me more about my parking..again I said "just let it go, I'm not going to argue with you and this isn't a way to treat a client "..and he said well you don't have to come back! This was so unprofessional and so unnecessary. I will never return..there are more businesses out there that appreciate your business and handle issues with a little more dignity then this man Frank did! read more

I called earlier today to see if they had any hanging baskets left. They lady who answers said yes 4 petunias. I replied by saying ok great I'm going to stop by after work. Arrived at 4:02. 4:02 a gentleman was there greeted me as I existed my car and told me they were closed. I said nooo I spoke to a lady earlier about the 4 hanging baskets. He said sorry we close at 4:00pm. He said I can put them aside for you for tomorrow. I said no thanks needed them for an event tonight. I just can't imagine turning business away during these times. In total shock. I won't be back. read more

My husband and I stopped in this past weekend and were very pleased by the assortment of healthy plants at very reasonable prices. It has a real family run feel which I really like and the staff was all very knowledge and available to help with any questions you might have. They even bring your plants to your car for you which is really above and beyond in the customer service world these days. No joke.....you might have trouble finding the place (or at least question if this place could possibly be down the road you are traveling on)...but this place is top quality....and I mean top quality. If you've ever gone to a greenhouse / nursery.....sometimes you have 15 of a certain type of plant......12 of which are junk, 3 are good.......at this place, 15 are good out of 15. I challenge you to find a sub par vegetable plant or hanging basket in the entire joint. The products here are nearly flawless. I belong to a community garden area....and a few of the guys who are retired at the garden stated this is the ONLY place to go(let's just say 98% of the people who do it have the time since they are retired.....not me of course). After watching their stuff bloom year after year....we decided to give it a try. Obviously from our first impression at the top, we were.......veg plants cost about a 1.50 a small pack (like 2-3 plants)....tomatoes maybe 2 bucks.....larger tomato a bit more than that. Hanging baskets are HUGE....and healthy to boot. Listen.....I know you are reading this and you are tempted to just go to Home Depot or Lowes and get something quick for your garden......I'm telling you....if you can......check this place out instead. read more

I will transport flowers/plants from Phillipsburg, NJ to Northern VA for as long as I can. This green house cannot by topped for either quality or service. All of their flowers are just beautiful. It's so obvious how much love goes into each plant. Family operated and owned, the customer service is the best. Don't know what/where to grow something? Just ask-they have all the answers. Really a great place to get hanging plants, flowers and other plants. Lower cost and better quality baskets than Home Depot or Lowes. The staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful. Been coming here for many years. Bought tomato plants from here this year, see how they do. read more

I was so excited and grateful to find this garden center this past year. We have a multitude of garden centers and nurseries in the area, but none ever made me feel loyal or happy (apart from Glenmar, which is a bit of a drive, and Lehigh Valley Home and Garden Center, which can get very busy). Everything about Cierech's was inspiring and satisfying. The grounds are immaculately tended and landscaped seasonally to display some of their most beautiful perennial and annual offerings. Beautiful beds of pansies in the spring, hanging baskets of calibrachoa in the summer - I wanted to replicate every design in my own yard! The greenhouse is spectacular: healthy annuals and tropicals of varieties I had never seen locally. The prices are incomparably inexpensive, especially considering the volume, variety, and health of the plants. The employees, though, are the absolute icing on the cake! They are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They offer sound advice regarding the plants, and they assist however they can in organizing your purchases and getting them to your vehicle. read more

I've been going here for years. The selection, price and quality is amazing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I usually go in the spring and again in the fall. It is in a remote location but it's just minutes off the highway and a beautiful drive through the countryside. It's definitely worth the trip. read more
