Behind the greenhouse, we had a delightful time listening to our instructors who clearly have worked side by side at the farm. Educational facts about herbs with a sprinkling of humor began the event. It is so wonderful to attend a class where they share their knowledge about the herbs and their uses. They give you salient advice that helps you decide on which herbs fit the taste profile you enjoy so you build your herb pot on what fits you. Then to top it all off they gave us a handout that covered trimming, drying and pairing herbs as well as a few recipes! A wonderful experience! Thank you for making my Mother's day extra special!

Word of CAUTION: The same as many plants sold at the Bog Box stores and nurseries - many of these plants may be toxic to your kids or pets. Do not plant them where your kids or pets can reach them. Many of the plants can only be grown in tropical areas or indoors in a greenhouse. Please do your research before purchasing. The paw-paw is a great tree to grown in the greater Lehigh Valley area. The pepper plants can do well during the growing season here. Baobab trees may only grown houseplant size inside your home despite the ability to grown huge in the African plains. There is one banana species that can grow in a wind protected area in the Easton are provided it is wrapped up during the winter. The coffee plant will be a real conversation item - just don't let the pets eat it.This is a one of a kind seed and plant place.

I had contacted therm by Yelp last Friday, explained what services I needed, and had a short term, flexible contract by last Saturday, and they took care of the first grass cutting last Sunday afternoon. Prices are very reasonable and services includes weed-whacking, trimming and edging the lawn, cutting the lawn, and blowing, bagging, and carting away the clippings and debris. Gaetan is extremely professional, exacting and detail-oriented, and I am very pleased with the services - I highly recommend Valley Landscaping!
