Derek is an incredible tobacconist. Friendly, knowledgeable, and impressively hospitable. If I lived in Beaumont- this would be my go to shop to sit down, light up a stick, and talk shop. I am usually pretty forgiving with local businesses but I was rubbed very wrong yesterday. I slept on this so I wouldn't be doing this without thought. I went in at 5:45 pm, a fairly busy time for them, and they tried to stop me from going into the humidor because they were making a video. Who wants to keep paying customers from the money maker of your business? Are videos, which should be shot in slower hours or outside of business hours, making you enough money to cut customers from the cigars? This is horrible business practice and not very customer oriented behavior. I shopped here to support local business but I'm in Houston enough that all my business will be done over there from now on. This shop should really reevaluate how they stay open and place that as their number one priority. read more

Wide selection of books, though, far more than TVs and computer equipment. I didn't look at the clothing, I was there for the records . . . Worth a stop in if you're looking for a dress, a book, a picture, or just to get out of the rain.
