Stoped by to check out cigars while here in Mexico. I didn't buy any cigars but the staff was super friendly and helpful. They had a great selection of local cigars but nothing caught me. I typically travel with my own stash of cigars. I looked at their torch lighters and they were reasonably priced for the area. The are is a tourist trap. Dont go here. This place sells fake ass cuban cigars. VERY close in appearance the dead gice away was the band inside the unopened box of cohibas that was from a different cigar manufacturer. Not to mention no fake barcode and no date stamp on the bottom. This is my fake box I bought from there. Google "cohiba barcode authenticity" then enter in the barcode that was on my fake cohiba box. I attached the fake ass ribbon that was in my sealed box also. Stay far away from this place. read more

I've only smoked one other Mexican cigar which is the casa turrent and Lauros product is right up there in terms of flavor and quality. After being haggled by street hustlers peddling knock off cubans, I was relieved to step into this place. I was like a kid in a candy store. First of all, who runs a cigar shop with no walk in humidor? Overpriced less than stellar cigars at this location. I actually picked up a stick and it was falling apart and saw a bug under the cigar. The worker had little to no knowledge of cigars and was obviously just there to rip off tourist who don't know their cigar game. Stay away from this shop. First, let me say that I have been a loyal customer of the Cigar Factory for 20 years when visiting Playa Del Carmen. Love the friendly staff and amaretto flavored cigars. I purchased 25 cigars in the fall of 2020 and my wife warned me about the quality due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. But I had been a loyal customer and they had a deal on the purchase of 25 cigars. However, the cigars were infested with bugs. My collection was ruined due to the bugs from the cigars.
