We were there a few days ago. After getting tired of finding fake Cubans. We found this place on Google. After doing some research we went there. Bob and his wife are legit Cuban cigar sellers. Their house blend is really good. This place is worth the try. Cubans are not cheap and never have been. If you want to smoke cheaper cigars the new world cigars can get that done. If you want Cubans. You'll have to pay for them. Do not be fooled by the fake Cuban cigars you will get on the beach or at the port. read more

Wasn't open at advertised business hours. Came here when they were supposed to be open twice in one day to be greeted by a locked door. If your looking to overspend on Cubans, as you will anywhere in Mexico due to their cigar taxes, I will suggest La Casa del Habanos near the ferry terminal. A real pro tip is to buy your cigars in the duty free shops at the Cancun or Cozumel airport or cruise terminal. I was able to score a box of 25 Partagas Serie D without tax for $480. I was able to authenticate the cigars before purchasing by checking the codes on the Habanos website. read more

Ya Mexico taxes the hell out of Cuban imports, I get my Cubans shipped from Switzerland for about 30% less. But I'm in Cozumel not in the US and I don't have my Cubans with me and I'm having a beer across the way, who am I gonna trust?? Habana Bobs. After visiting Cuba a few months ago and trying good quality Cuban cigars , I was looking for a decent cigar to smoke away after dinner. I came across this shop in downtown area, they have a very good trip advisor ratings. The shop was very clean and the lady was very knowledgeable. There is 40 percent tax on imported Cuban cigars so the prices appeared a bit too high. But after seeing their cigars I realized that what it was sold to me before at the resort cigar shop was fake Cuban cigars. So I would go to this shop is you want real Cuban cigars and willing to spend a few extra dollars. read more

If you want GENUINE Cuban cigars? Go to this place. I met Havana Bob, he was very friendly, extremely knowledgable and transparent throughout the whole purchasing process. Lots of people selling fake cubans, shops, in the streets, even at resorts. You can check the serial number on the boxes, it will come up online. Genuine, sold to Bob at Havana Bob's Cuban Cigars. It's a bit hard to find, so just go to the main shopping center and ask around, people may say it's closed but it's not. Its tucked away in a nook beside a bar across from Banorte. read more

GPS sent me to a location that was closed that's around the corner from his second location (there was a guy calling me telling me where it was but I ended up calling Bob since I was afraid I would be sent to fake Cubans) got some of Bobs cigars and a few different ones I like what I've tried so far and will be coming back next year! read more

Save your money, I buy Cuban cigars in Canada and Europe from reputable cigar shops and none of them have the Over The Top mark up like Cuban Bobs. Bob was amazing, extremely knowledgeable, and can roll some amazing Cuban cigars. Wide variety of cigar flavors, also from very mild to strong. This should be a no-brainer stop for cigar lovers. I couldn't recommend this place more. Looked at the shop by our resort and could tell the cigars weren't authentic - band graphics were pixelated, colors weren't consistent, etc. Bob's is the definition of legit in terms of authentic Cuban cigars. Prices are on the high side in Mexico because of the taxes, but if you are in Cozumel, this is the place to go. read more

Was on a cruise and one of the ports was in Cozumel, walked in to town and had a couple of margaritas at Wet Wendy's (another great spot) when Bob came out and introduced himself to my husband and I. My husband loves a good cigar and only one other time had the opportunity to purchase Cuban cigars, I went across to his store and OMG the selection of cigars, but not only that... he had art work, pictures, t shirts, all kinds of neat stuff that he brings over from Cuba, my favorite were the little vintage cars carved out of wood. I've been coming to Cozumel for 10 years and tried the Cigar shops on the main drag, vendors selling them along with everything else, but I found Bob's last year and he has Real Cubans. This place is good. Prices are high at face value is all. Just listen to them, and you will find out there are many deals. I would beg you take advantage of the deals, otherwise you will leave very grumpy. I got 10% off this, 20% off that, she threw in a house blend one for me. Left at $15/stick for 6 sticks. Well not too bad. They're cheaper other places. But I learned something. And she was very nice. I'll stop back again if I'm in town. I wish it was dirt cheap, but I appreciate a cigar store having personality like this. read more
