Over a period of three days, Jim readjusted the inner workings of two toilets, recaulked the toilet bases, recaulked a shower faucet and around a bathroom sink, replaced a wheel on a sliding side fence, treated the shingles for moss build up, replaced the gaskets and flashing on several vent pipes on the roof, replaced and repainted a piece of wood on the siding of the house, power washed the outside of the house, and removed a part of a fence inside the garden area which was damaged during one of the big storms. Lack of communication and lack of Professionalism…read more Review: Poor Communication and Unprofessional Behavior - Beware of Who You Hire! We initially had a positive experience with Liberty Tree (Fritz) about four to five months ago when a tree fell through our fence. They responded quickly, removed the tree and debris, and were very accommodating. Based on that, we chose to reach out again when we noticed another tree leaning and wanted to be proactive before it caused more damage. Unfortunately, this second experience has been extremely disappointing. After reaching out nearly a month ago, it's been nothing but excuses and delays. I first contacted Fritz by phone and later followed up with a text on June 30th, which he read. I reached out again before the 4th of July, and he sent me an invoice and promised to come by Monday or Tuesday after work. When I called for an update, he claimed he actually said Tuesday or Wednesday. This back-and-forth has now dragged to the point of now it being contentious. When I called again to get a straight answer, instead of taking accountability or offering a clear timeline, Fritz berated me on the phone. I even received two unprofessional and rude text messages from him--the owner of the company--after he had already failed to show up multiple times without notice. I understand delays can happen, but communication is critical--especially when safety and property damage are involved. At this point, I'm trying to prevent having to replace another section of my fence, and the lack of responsiveness has been unacceptable. Unfortunately, based on this recent experience, I can no longer recommend Liberty Tree Enterprises. Communication and follow-through are non-negotiable in any service-based business, and both were clearly lacking here.

Moving to Oregon after living in the desert Southwest brought issues I never realized were…read moresomething that was normal up here. We had a house inspected and he found there was some water in the crawl space. This freaked me out a bit but there was no other damage and they reassured me this was normal for this area where the water table was close to the surface. This was a condition to purchase the home so the previous owner called in Terra Firma to have the issue handled. Patrick came out and did a thorough inspection of his own. He said it would be good to have a system to route the water to a location and pump it out. The previous owner had the work done and we came to see what was being done. James, Josh and one other worker (that I missed his name) came out the day the work was being done. They came on time and were professional. They dug a drainage area around the outside of the crawl space, filled it with a trailer full of stone and installed two high-powered pumps to move the water out of the crawl space. We had the drain cover pop off after they were finished but they came back out and fixed it right away. The only slight negative is the vent they had the pipes come out from under the crawl space was left without coverage so any creature could get down there. We fixed it but it seems to me that they could have made the pipes go through the wire venting so it's protected-but maybe not. Terra Firma is definitely the company to chose when having this work completed. They keep you up on the problem, create a timeline to fix it and have professional staff on hand to get the job done right. They also send photos when the job is done.
