Lack of communication and lack of Professionalism Review: Poor Communication and Unprofessional Behavior - Beware of Who You Hire! We initially had a positive experience with Liberty Tree (Fritz) about four to five months ago when a tree fell through our fence. They responded quickly, removed the tree and debris, and were very accommodating. Based on that, we chose to reach out again when we noticed another tree leaning and wanted to be proactive before it caused more damage. Unfortunately, this second experience has been extremely disappointing. After reaching out nearly a month ago, it's been nothing but excuses and delays. I first contacted Fritz by phone and later followed up with a text on June 30th, which he read. I reached out again before the 4th of July, and he sent me an invoice and promised to come by Monday or Tuesday after work. When I called for an update, he claimed he actually said Tuesday or Wednesday. This back-and-forth has now dragged to the point of now it being contentious. When I called again to get a straight answer, instead of taking accountability or offering a clear timeline, Fritz berated me on the phone. I even received two unprofessional and rude text messages from him--the owner of the company--after he had already failed to show up multiple times without notice. I understand delays can happen, but communication is critical--especially when safety and property damage are involved. At this point, I'm trying to prevent having to replace another section of my fence, and the lack of responsiveness has been unacceptable. Unfortunately, based on this recent experience, I can no longer recommend Liberty Tree Enterprises. Communication and follow-through are non-negotiable in any service-based business, and both were clearly lacking here. read more

One of our large pine trees has been dying over the past three years. Our neighbor recommended Liberty Tree to us a while back and they have previously trimmed trees for us. This time they took down a large pine tree in our garden, except for the trunk which we left for a future tree carving. They arrived early and worked very fast and efficiently. Also, cleaned up all the branches. For as large as the tree was, they were very reasonable . Great service!! read more

I appreciate hearing back from Lyman Hall in regard to my complaint of 2/21/22. I have added a couple pictures of the madrone tree I am left with, an eyesore. The are quite a few problems with your worker. One of them being that as he was giving me a bid, I told him I want the whole tree taken down because when 2 branches of a madrone die we know the whole tree is going to eventually die. He was writing and I thought he was writing what I was requesting. As you can see by the pictures, he was not. When I came out to see the finished work I was upset to see he not only did not cut the entire tree, but left uneven stumps. He talked about wire being the reason he could not cut, however I let him know if he cut the branch all the way down there would be no wire there. He left it the way he had cut it. There were more problems with his work, but he did not want to discuss things. He got mad and only wanted to vent loudly. I just told him, "enough". And walked away. read more

Lymon and his crew took out two 150 pine trees on my property. They were a danger to our home and family. I have a beautiful green lawn and garden with irrigation. He was able to take down these trees without damage to the irrigation and when he was done he left my yard in good shape. read more

I am leaving this review for my mom , Sue, who lives in the Grants Pass area and has used Liberty Tree a few times. This week they cut down 6 large pines on her place and she couldn't stop talking about how wonderful all the workers were, polite and hardworking men. Very good prices. She highly recommends them! I only wish they were in New York where I have yard full of Black Walnut trees to take down!!! read more
