I love this theatre!! The VIP is 18+ so no kids talking through the movie or on their cell phones. Yes, occasionally an adult or two have been seen on their phones but most of the time everyone respects the other people in the theatre. Also having your food and beverages (adult beverages too) served at your seat is nice or sitting in the lounge before the movie. Like another reviewer said, the washrooms are individual and very clean. The food is restaurant quality. On Wednesdays , they have this "dinner at the movies" special For two people. For a fixed price you have your movie and a special menu for one price. read more

I decided to splurge and buy some tickets to see baby driver on Sunday with my parents and boyfriend for my dad's birthday. Positives: It's 18+ You can order food from your seat with alcohol. The lounge is pretty comfy and roomy. The staff is very nice. The seats in the theatre are nice and big. Plus you get 3 cup holders (if you buy two seats next to each other) Prices are reasonable Excellent bathrooms (clean and private) Negatives: I bought the tickets online and the screen was much smaller in person than it seemed on my computer so we had to swap the tickets once we arrived and the clerk at the ticket counter didn't understand and it took 20 Minutes to change. He wasn't very friendly about it either. (Best row in theatre 2 is G) Once we were seated no one took our order until we signalled them, we all assumed someone would come and take our order but they were just standing around. They got our order wrong twice (forgotten drink, not the right item) The tables don't move a lot so you have to bend to the left a lot to eat. No time play! Overall great experience. I think it's definitely worth it and the food wasn't bad. Now that I've been before I know what to expect for next time. Go see a worthwhile movie here and enjoy the amenities! read more

Revied updated. This time we are talking about our first VIP Experience. Got tickets to the VIP to go see F9. We arrived there early. This is a new experience for me. The good: Staff at door friendly. The lounge is big and spacious. Bathrooms are individual rooms, and not stalls. Pictures on wall is a nice touch. Seats in cinema comfy and large. Because of covid, surrounding seats were blocked off. Waiter was terrific. Place was generally clean. Hamburger tastes great. The bad: Little tables don't look that clean though. Person bringing drinks and food looked lost and confused. Cannot see my salad once the lights go out. Chicken tenders overcooked. The experience is so great that l am wondering if l will ever go back to regular movie theatre seating. read more

I have been experiencing movies at the VIP cinema since they first opened in 2012 and the experience remains superior to a regular movie theatre showing. For a premium price (around 18.99$ a person) you will have the ability to reserve seats, sit in comfortable large recliner-like chairs in a kid-free surrounding while enjoying real food and alcoholic drinks. There is significantly less people than at your regular theatre and you can elevate your movie experience by ordering food and having it brought to you while seated. Over the years, the offerings for food and beverages has changed drastically. The VIP menu used to feature mostly burgers or bar style snacks like nachos or wings, however during my last visit this past weekend, I found many refined options like lobster mac and cheese, gourmet salads and full meals just like at a regular restaurant. They also offer a special package on select weeknights for a 3 course feast which is perfect for a couple's night out. From the moment you purchase your tickets and walk in, the entire experience is suited for a VIP. There is a beautiful bright interior with many tables and sofas to lounge while you wait your movie or dine and best of all, the restrooms are all individual stalls featuring clean and modern toilets (the flush is a large flat panel on the wall!). The only drawback is that the VIP cinema is no longer "new", as the furnishings are showing signs of wear and tear. The faux-leather chairs are starting to peel and some the booths in the lounge area are sagging. I also noticed the bathrooms used to offer tissue boxes but these have been removed and there is only hot water coming out of the tap. There are no water fountains (unlike a regular cineplex) so I am assuming that the hot water in the restroom is to discourage people from drinking it and force you to purchase something instead. TIP- if you are a Costco member, it is of great value to purchase Cineplex gift certificates, as for the same price, you will obtain a coupon for free popcorn and soda. The VIP cinema is a unique experience to Quebec and a must try, at least once, if you value watching movies in theatre. Frustrating poor service, January 21st 2024.. Movie at 19h30, we had a reserved lounge table for 18h30 to eat. Showed up on time, but staff so busy we were not seated until 8h40 (we did not want to take any table without confirming first). 18h53, nobody came to see us yet. I get up to talk to what appeared to be the only waiter on staff, as he is cleaning out a table. I ask: are we supposed to order at the counter? Reply: No... sorry, I was in a rush (there must be 5-6 busy tables). I then say, OK, but before cleaning up a table, shouldn't you make sure all your customers are served? He answers, sorry I'll be right with you... 18h58, he comes to take our order, as we stand up to get into the theater. We ask, what should we do, order here to get delivered in the theater? He says we should order in the theater. We are THE FIRST IN the theater, 19h01. There is only one person taking orders, and he starts from the back of the room, and as the room fills, he finally can take our order at 19h27. We notice that people are getting their food delivered without ordering, so there must be a way to order before getting in the theater. Why didn't the waiter offer or suggested a way to do so, knowing that we were already dissatisfied with the service? Summary: Takes 5-10 minutes to be told where to sit even with a reservation. Takes over 15 minutes for someone to show up at our table, and he only shows up after me getting up to ask him to come as he is taking a long time cleaning up another table. When asked the best way to order as the theater doors are about to open, he Instruct us to order in the theater. We realize that people that ordered before entering the theater are served much faster, even before our order is taken. We got in the theater at 18h30, with table reservations, but were only able to order in the theater at 19h27. VIP really? read more

Always enjoy coming out to the vip theatre. Located at the heart of DiX30 the theatre is connected to the regular cineplex theatre enjoyable for everyone. The VIP theatre is 18+ which sets the mood for the evening with having to worry about kids being there which can sometimes being distracting in a movie. The location has a real upscale vibe with dark colours fireplaces and ambient lighting. When you purchase your movie ticket you also get to pick assigned seating which leaves you plenty of time to eat and drink before the movie starts. While I'm the lounging area you can have a full course meal or just a couple quick snacks and drinks. In the theatre you can order more food or drinks brought straight to your seats. But this can only be done before the movie starts. Worth the drive to the south shore to have a nice little date night. read more

Great cinema experience. Your regular 'nicer' Cineplex, spacious with many screens. We came at a peak time (first weekend of the Beauty & the Beast release) so it was quite crowded. We didn't expect the timing we wanted to be sold out but it was to our advantage as we got the latest viewing (9.30pm) and by that time, it was a lot quieter with mainly adults. We went for a regular 3D viewing and there was plenty of treats to choose from, usual overpriced popcorn and hotdogs etc. I was happy with taking in a Tim Horton's coffee (which is also inside the cinema) Film experience was good overall - the 3D glasses provided were nice and sound volume and quality was great. I found the seats and cinema itself on the messier side, some seats had tears and there was popcorn in some aisles but that could be due to the time. Recently, our friends experienced a blackout at the cinema as Brossard lost electricity and the movies had to be cancelled. Quite an experience... read more

Who knew a trip to the movies could be so high class? I had two free passes for the Cineplex theatre so I thought I'd use them towards admission to the VIP theatre in Brossard. The entrance is separate from the main theatre and it's 18+ since they serve alcohol here. You enter and you're in the lounge area which is complete with a bar. They do have a small concession stand selling classic movie snacks (popcorn, candy, etc) but if you're dishing out for the VIP experience treat yourself and order from the bar. They have a variety of appetizers and food like burgers so you could eat a full meal. My boyfriend and I were there a little bit early so we ordered nachos and raspberry mojitos to enjoy in the lounge area. The SCENE card gets you 10% off the food but not alcohol. The other awesome thing about this place is the bathrooms. They're all individual bathrooms and they're super clean. Seating inside the theatre is very comfortable and there are servers there to get orders and bring them to you up until the movie starts. One thing I love about the VIP theatre is that they don't seem to show ads prior to the trailers and actual film. That is always my biggest pet peeve about going to the movies. Admission is quite pricey at $18.75 a person so you can be sure I won't be coming to the VIP theatre every time I go to the movies. I really like this concept a lot. It kind of felt weird to have food delivered to your seat. It's something I'm not used to but I can't complain lol The seats were wider and there was extra legroom, so it was definitely more comfortable. I do wish the seats reclined though, which was a downside. That's why I gave it 4 stars because it still needs some improvement. Nonetheless, it's a great idea! I live around the corner from this cineplex. I came here for a free movie screening. There is always a big line up for movies at this place- and it's very hard to find parking if you drive in on a weekday evening to watch a movie. It's a great spot for the kids with the local restaurant and arcade. You can even dine in at the Dix30 square to complete a date or spa night with the girls. I recently also found out that scene members don't get 10 % off condiments anymore, instead you can get 5$ off with 500 points. Stupidest thing I have ever heard. Regardless the seats were very comfy- so this theater trumps (play on words a haha) guzzo any day because of proximity and allowing the use of debit cards! read more

Definitely worth the money, if you ask me. All the things that I hate about going to the cinema are GONE! The seats are comfortable and there is enough leg room so that people can pass without you having to stand up. The seats are in pairs, so that you feel more intimate even in a large cinema. No children... yes, it's 18 and over only! A menu provides a list of food that is available at your seat. A staff member takes your order and soon someone else brings it to at your seat, hot. Prices were pretty reasonable considering that it's a cinema. And yes, you can order a cocktail to you seat! The bathrooms are individual bathrooms, designer toilets, clean, soap and plenty of towels for your hands. The staff was wonderfully attentive, polite and customer service oriented. I like the place and the experience despite the high prices but what is really annoying is the girls who work the popcorn counter. If you don't like your job and or people go the hell home. Their attitudes are horrible, the high prices I can accept but they need to have major adjustments. Hi Everyone! Went to see Evil Dead! It was playing at this theater BUT, it was in the VIP theater. We decided to spend the money, & wow! The VIP theater has it's pun entrance. When walking in, it's like walking into a club lounge. Electric fireplaces, sofas, & a bar. Then there's the theater itself, breath in the sweet clean smell, fabreeze maybe? The seats are leather, and huge! They are seats of 2 with tables attached to them. They serve drinks, food and someone actually came around with fried Mac & cheese bites! The last awesome thing was the bathrooms! Each bathroom is it's own room! I'm loving my own bathroom! Love everything about the VIP theater! I just hope they upkeep it and it stays his way! If we're being honest, before we came here we found the overall concept of a VIP movie theatre pretty funny. After our experience, I am willing to admit that it was a lot better executed than I had expected. The first pro is that you can reserve your seats in advance. The second is that you can be served in your seats (before the film starts). Of course, this isn't entirely necessary, but no one can deny that the novelty is fun. The third is that they have a much wider selection of menu items than your typical theatre AND they serve alcohol (!!!)! The design of this space is very sleek and nary a sticky floor, flashing arcade, or screaming child can be felt, seen, or heard! As there's no rush to reserve seats and there's no line, so the overall experience is very relaxed. It was nice to be able to lounge around in the lobby before the film, with table service and cocktails available. In truth, their cocktail and food menu is about as "VIP" as one you might find in *insert American chain restaurant here* but a) it's still a step up from your regular movie theatre and b)it's still fun so this can be forgiven. We're talking jalepeno poppers, frozen margaritas etc. I ended up ordering a pretty nice glass of red off a surprisingly decent wine list. My date got their take on a Tom Collins, which she enjoyed a lot. We shared a cheese plate for two and that's where their gastronomical limitations really showed. It featured 3 uniformly mild, creamy white cheeses (no variety/ sharp cheese to cut through) and they were definitely served with out of the package crackers. But our expectations had been so low that we were hardly bothered and we're big fans of mild soft cheese anyways! Now, as for the actual reason one usually goes to the movie theatre (you know... to watch a movie), the differences between VIP and regular are pretty miniscule. The VIP chairs are slightly bigger and look nicer but aren't, in my opinion, any more comfortable. They're grouped in twos with little tables separating each unit. The tables are generally useful but not placed with sharing meals/snacks in mind. The screen is a normal size while the space fits far less people than your typical cinema, making the screening feel somewhat more intimate. Is it worth the premium? I'm honestly not sure. It was fun to try but certainly not an experience I'd consider going for on the regular. But they do have their (giggle worthy) "Hump Day" specials on Wednesdays and discounted tickets on Tuesday that might make it more your while. read more

OHMYGOD where was this place, why havent I known this before, and what have i been missing this whole time-are a few of the question that you probably will ask yourself after your first visit. Love the concept of having comfy seats spectacular view, and get served on your seats while watching the movie. They also have a nice bar and seating/dining area outside thats decorated nicely. Bathrooms are not even shared as each person gets a whole stall to themselves. I know this is sounding like a child visiting a castle for the first time, but I was pretty surprised with this concept itself. Anyways, they have a cool and mature staff, who explains everything and helps you have a great experience. The people in general are great and this is an 18+ establishment. The VIP odeon will provide a great date night place to go to for couples =) read more

First time visiting this theatre... my husband and I went to see Spiderman Homecoming last night and decided that we deserved some VIP action. Clean establishment! Great service and friendly staff! When ordering drinks We recommend going for 2oz vs 1oz (could barely taste the alcohol) I think there should be(something cineplex could consider) the option to order virtually from your seats ... such as having an app or having some kind of device by the seats for clients to use. Just an idea :) Good Sound! Good Size screen! Seats were comfortable (but nothing to write to your mom about) oh and they have the reserved seats system which we love! The seats are in pairs of 2... so makes for a pleasant and intimate experience. Restrooms: they were clean and private! That was neat! I wonder why there is only 1 VIP theatre around? Like why not have VIP theatres at popular locations i.e. Downtown, Marché Centrale, West Island, Laval, and Vaudreuil... that way the great experience can be spread across the board.. ?? I've seldom seen a better example of class segregation. Upon entering the cinema, I realized it was packed. The ticket line was close to a 20 min wait and most new movies were already sold out for the rest of the afternoon. All my fault given it was holiday. I figured, hey why not treat yourself to the VIP cinema. As a entered the VIP section, the staff outnumbered the customers 3 to 1. No wait what so ever at the ticket counter and concessions. The facilities where impeccably clean and I was pleasantly surprised to find out the bathrooms consisted of a dozen private bathrooms. Allow you to answer natures call with out being disturbed. Not to mention the surprisingly comfortable theatre seats. Defiantly worth augmented ticket price if you have the money. This place has a nice ambience! Went to see The Martian here and it was a pleasant treat to be in an adults-only screening in comfortable, wide seats with waitstaff bringing appetizers and drinks beforehand. The mozzarella sticks were good, not great, and the milkshakes we had were also tasty. Maybe my favorite thing about this theater were the large number of private bathroom stalls--less wait and more privacy than conventional bathrooms, which was nice. The food was delicious (we ordered 2 hamburgers with fries) and the service was REALLY fast (we hadn't finished ordering our food with our waiter and our drinks had arrived). I have children but really enjoyed the 18+ theater for a nice night out without children. The theater was clean and we LOVED our night out. Price wise... 2 tickets 3D 23.99+tx, 2 hamburger and friens 13.95+tx, plus drinks...so for 2 people movie, supper, a couple of drinks and popcorn is a 100.00$ night. read more
