Beautiful site, kind staff, & great amenities! Came to NH for a budget-friendly girl's weekend. Very relaxing atmosphere to chat, take pictures, play games, hang out, and enjoy ourselves. Our site had a water and outlet hook up that worked with no problems. Not sure if it was just where our site was on the campground, but you could hear cars, sirens, etc. But, not too bothersome and it was mostly at night. Was able to keep the car on our site. Campground bathrooms were clean and stocked. Couldn't connect to WiFi. About a 6 minute drive from Dunkin, Aromas, Dollar General, and more. Easy check in and check out processes. If you're looking into this campground to be more financially friendly, I think it's important to note that you have to purchase wood at the campground (no outside wood allowed; 1 bundle for $7 & 2 for $12). Not bad pricing, but the wood burns pretty fast. Needed 6 bundles for two nights. Adding an extra $35 bucks, give or take, to your stay. We had a great weekend and would come again read more

We stayed here over the winter! They do background checks so expect that. We only lost power once and the manager was quick to fix. The land is big! Lots are smaller and ones behind barn are very sunny, good for winter probably less for summer. They have a pool but wasn't open for my stay and a laundry room. Felt safe needed key card. A lot right in town to do, check out the circle restaurant such good breakfast, and concord is 25 mins fun to walk around. read more

We got stuck here in the winter as a last resort. When we met the owner, he stated "I'm a prick, you might as well tattoo it across my forehead" PRICK. The staff is nice, other than him. Nothing is paved. That includes the pothole ridden, only way out through a dilapidated trailer park. Our entire site was mud. The site post electricity was laying in the ground when we arrived. To fix it a huge hole was dug and never filled in. Friday's and Saturdays the front building draws a huge bingo crowd. During that time, the bingo goers eat up ALL the WiFi. read more

Worst experience ever, the online version and the real version are totally different. Management is absurd, the park has a genuinely unsafe feeling. If I could give less than one star rating I definitely would just on attitude our party got from a member of the staff. We purchased a half bucket load of fire wood and heres where it went south... 1) Picture of bucket loader depicts larger bucket than that being used, bordering on false adverstising. 2) Granted it had rained but smaller load was soaked and when asked about it being wet...we got attitude from staff saying..and I quote," well it rained !!! " 3) when asked if they covered it his reply was, "it's only firewood." Just left a foul taste in my mouth .... I totally understand why fire wood is not to be transported because of the remote possibility of also moving no indigenous beetles....but trees be damned if I ever return to this campground. read more

Dennis and I were anxious to try out our new Jayco popup camper and with the hot weather finally upon us. We called dozens of campgrounds with none being open, as it was still the end of April and the camping season starts May 15th. We called Circle 9 Ranch and they were OPEN! They are open year round, with many people actually setting up camp as their permanent residence. Some even had campers with built-on additions! They offer many sites for campers, RV's and tents. Sites offer water, electric, and even some with satellite TV! The grounds are nice, with 2 small ponds, a small store, game room, laundry room, and a dance hall where they give free line dancing lessons and offer country line dancing every Saturday night. At the dance hall they offer food (pizza, nachos, burgers) and it is BYOB. We did not check out the dance hall as we played cards back at the camper. The grounds itself are a bit rough. Buildings and fences need paint and repair. What was disappointing about this place was that the water was not on at our campsite, or on our side of the campground. They did not tell us this when we registered. They had water on the other side, yet did not offer us a site with water. We had to fill up buckets and haul them. Not fun, but all part of the camping experience. At least they could have told us. Ya know? Game room door open, yet all video games turned off. Pet friendly! $17 per night! read more

$700/month + electricity + WiFi - (no cable) for lots the size of a postage stamp. Campers are wedged in on top of each other. The only "amenity"... a pool. They nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING else. $6 for a guest pass; $10 for an overnight guest; the rules and regulations read like the Magna Carta. You might expect this at a high-end RV park. Circle 9 is definitely NOT that. Clientelle is a mix of long-term (permanent)/ seasonal/ transient/ homeless and weekly/weekend campers. Frankly, "Not good" doesn't begin to tell the whole story. Be wary of any reviews giving it a higher rating. They're likely fake/plants. It really is ghetto. Epsom Police are a frequent sight in the campground. I'm guessing they don't have to pay $6. Management is supposedly trying to clean things up; evicting tenants, etc. That remains to be seen. In my initial phone call to the campground, I reserved a site for 1 month and paid in full: $700 monthly site fee $35 gate card deposit $200 deposit 8 days prior to what would have been my check in date, I canceled the reservation. After several discussions back & forth, Rox-Anne would only refund 50% of the $200 and $35 (this is consistent with the campground's written policy and this is fair) but only 50% of the $700 monthly site fee (this does not apply to the campground's written deposit policy). I was never onsite, the full $700 should have been refunded. Rox-Anne's response to the fact that the $700 was paid upfront, money she wouldn't typically have access to until check in was "well you did (pay the money already) so we are keeping 1/2" read more

Worst place ever to camp. Not family friendly at all. The owners are extremely rude. Whenever we would call or come in contact with them they treated us as though we were trespassers, not paying guests. They also, for whatever cheap reasons, do not provide ANY products for the bathrooms and do not tell you in advance. They claim it's for the pandemic, though that makes no sense. They do not provide paper towels, toilet paper and most importantly SOAP. They do not provide SOAP, sanitization, during a pandemic. And they do not let people no ahead of time so almost everyone enters the bathroom without knowing they won't be able to sanitize and have to touch communal spaces slouch as door handles, with germ filled hands. They also are extremely inappropriate. In their men's bathroom they had this sign above the urinal. It is extremely inappropriate for a place that is meant to be a family campground. Everything was dirty, the sights were incredibly small, and the employees were very unwelcoming. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. We will never being going back or recommending this place to anyone. read more

This place is the biggest joke nothing on website is real. All they have is a pool that regulars can use. This is suppose to be a country Campground. My family built the nicest site they have did all the electricity and water to 90% of the sites. It has gone way down hill. Nothing on website is true. They run 3 companies out of 1 location. Nothing to do with camping. Previous owner had the place packed every single weekend with music and line dancing. They do absolutely nothing now. 1 week I stayed not 1 camper came in or left. If you ate part of the click smoke pot you are good apparently. Place is not worth the money look around. They charge $400 a week and average rate for a week is $200-$300 and you get a whole lot more and don't have to pay electricity bill at the end. My husband and I came to New Hampshire on our honeymoon to watch the Nascar race (we are from NY). While looking around, we found this place. Through booking and everything, everyone was helpful and pleasant. We had issues with our gate card not working, multiple times, but both of they workers were very helpful and fixed the problem for us. The bathrooms are kind of a disaster. There's no toilet paper (they do tell you ahead of time), there's a lot of ants, spiders, etc (but we're in the woods), and they aren't cleaned very often. We were here for almost a week and I only saw someone come in to clean them once. While attempting to check out, there was no one in the office, so we called the number on the door. When the lady answered all she said was "What do you need? I'm driving!" then proceeded to hang up. So we called the guy and he was much more helpful. Overall, this place is okay for a weekend, but not for weeks at a time. read more

Stayed here for the Fourth. This place was extremely disappointing. I don't even know where to begin. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. *The bathroom's are filthy. The showers don't even work, and they cost 25 cents/5 minutes. The hot water doesn't turn on until maybe the last minute and a half.. THEN, you have to get out of the shower stall and pop another quarter in (mind you, whoever is in the bathroom at the time will see you bare ass, because for some stupid reason they put the coin machine outside of the shower stalls) and sit there until the water gets warm again to rinse whatever soap you have on you. It's a pain in the ass. *The pond is ridiculous. We stayed here for 4 days and caught maybe 3-4 fish tops. Barely a nibble. We were most excited about having a site on the pond so we can relax and fish all day. The water is so black and murky, and has a gross film floating in it in the morning. The people who work there aren't very friendly/professional. They didn't even drive their golf cart to show us our sites - we found it on our own. When we pulled up it was so confusing, there were 3 sites clustered together so we had no clue which one was ours (site 66). We just parked it where ever was the driest (it was pouring) and set up our tents. The next evening, a group of girls pulled in and gave us shit because we were in there site (#67), we told them to take it up with the front office because they saw us unloading and didn't let us know we were in the wrong site. Then later that night around 830-9 pm (friday night), there was excitement from the campground.. people were screaming and it went all the way around the pond. About 5 minutes into it, one of the campground workers came to our site and flashed a flashlight in our eyes and screamed at us to shut up or go to bed. He was EXTREMELY rude and offensive. We were all very upset. I could not believe he yelled at us, no warning or anything. "Quiet Time" isn't until 10! He was an absolute JERK. He went around to every campsite yelling at people. Everyone was pissed and were going to complain to the front office. PS - No sparkelers allowed, even for the Fourth of July. Lame? YES. I would never return to this place nor recommend it to anyone. read more

Ghetto is the only word I can come up with to discribe this place. This is by no means a family camp ground. They offer nothing... it's more like an old trailer park owned by a slumlord. The tent sights have tents that are connected by tarps for the homeless. The bathrooms on the tent sights don't have showers they instead have storage for old broken toilets. PARTIAL rolls of toilet paper put in in the morning. I guess they're supposed to last the day...they have a dance/bingo hall that is open to the public. That's also where the showers are. So the showers are locked up tight when they have their dances or bingo. When they were unlocked the water was ice cold. This place does not deserve the one star I gave. I had to hit it to post a review. I believe any good reviews on this place have got to be placed by the owners or employees. No campers would possibly say anything good about this PIG STYE.... read more

They have a new owner yeah !! Nice place . I stayed this past weekend the new owner is so amazing compared to the last one OMG. Early in the season so we had a great choice of sites . They have open sites for rv and big campers , secluded sites if you want and plenty of woods if you want to be tucked away so our by yourself.. Nice pond also . Of course the pool was not open last year but someone was working to get it open while we were there . This place is always a great place to stay my the last owner almost drove us away. When we hears there was a new owner we tried again .. Thinking of leaving are camper there so we can go every week end . Love the place better than ever . You won't be disappointed read more

Don't believe the other posts are saying because it's a scam this place is a shit hole We've made many friends there and when they find out about how Circle nine treated us when we had to cancel a reservation for October and Roxanne decide to keep 50% of our money I'm sure our friends that go they will stop going also. Tent site is very small. There is a pond but its not clean when its small amount of water. Beware of Walking around the campsite, a lot camper modification going on. Beware of few campers they will complain about you to the office. Employee (She sorry i don't know her name) is very rude no hospitality. I hope she will take culture values into consideration. There is no hot water in the shower. Only those who 2 piece bathing suits are allowed in Swimming Pool (Nylon was not a bathing suits as per her conversation). Kids not allowed without 2 piece swim suit (even kids used shirt and pants which used for YMCA/Boys and Girls swim training). Kids play area not as good in other family campgrounds. As per my experience I would never return to this place. FYI: I brought my experience to the manager, he told me that it will try to change some pool policy (allow nylon dress). So that this will respect the people culture which they can wear nylon shirt and pants instead of 2 piece bathing suits. read more

When we first arrived at this camp ground I was greeted by the maintenance man Ernie who told me he was going to park me in our reserve space falling around the corner to what was supposed to be our spot where I broke down car was sitting in the way he went next door to tell the neighbor to move her car and she came out in a towel soaking wet and sorry to argue with him meanwhile her two dogs on thin pieces of rope with thin rope around their necks we're strangling themselves trying to break free. I was worried because I had a small very friendly Golden. He kindly led me to a different spot, it was trashed the power post was on the ground and their we're burn rings and cigarette butts everywhere. he showed me is going to fix it up I didn't really care my wife and I were only staying there three days a week and traveling the rest. But the lot was never cleaned up and he fixed the power post but he had to dig up the ground two times and he didn't know much about excavating or plumbing and allowed a bunch of dirt and rocks to get into the water line which ended up going into my camper and causing plumbing problems for me since he couldn't get the ground excavated correctly my waterline remain Frozen for most of the winter they never said anything about this nor did they ever try to fix it again I didn't care we were only there 3 days a week.met the owner wants and he threatened me cuz my little golden was off the leash with me I was helping an elderly man get his dog back.when we left the accused us of trashing the lot taking no responsibility themselves and charging us extra money. read more

I would love to give the Circle 9 Ranch a 5 star rating because the venue itself was outstanding. While the tablecloths and floors were a bit dirty I was able to look past that because the space that was available for use was perfect! The venue itself could fit about 200 people and had a large dance floor with a bandstand and everything. It was decorated in a country western style and it had a cool vibe. Even the bathrooms said "Cowboy and Cowgirl!" We were able to move the tables around as we pleased and hang up whatever we needed hung up! And for the price of $50 per hour to use that huge space, how can you pass it up? So for the actual use of the space and for functional needs I would give it 5 Stars!! But why, then you ask, did I give it only 1? Let me tell you! I had paid for the venue starting at 10am. I wanted to make sure I got there early so that I was able to park, get situated with paying and also moving stuff into the venue (we had a baby shower and I needed to unload a butt load of stuff). Upon arriving I was not aware of where the parking lot actually was because it was covered in snow (plowed but still hard to see) so I parked at the side entrance near the office. My friend and I walked up, rang the door bell and the owner came to the door. When I told him my name he looked up at the clock and this started the rudeness that was to follow pretty much all day! He kept telling me how early I was and how much of a hassle that was and then when he showed me the venue and I asked if the heat was going to be turned on he said "Well if you had come on time the heat would have already been going!" SERIOUSLY? Well even though he complained the whole time he still charged my for being early! Fine charge me for starting to set up 15 minutes early but do not COMPLAIN about it the entire time! Then, and this is the kicker and where I started to get a bit uppity, I had moved a table near the exit door for the cake. I know, I know tables can not block exits and I was just running around with my head cut off at that point and totally spaced it. Well he came in through that door and had to "kick the table out of the way," instead of just going around to the other entrance. He then began his 2 minute yelling spree about putting the table there. All he needed to do was politely ask me to move it and remind me that it could not be there. In the same breathe he was telling me how poor our parking jobs were (my friend moved her car to the parking lot with all the snow after asking where people were going to park and getting a response of "um did you not see the parking lot when you came in?" No buddy it was COVERED IN SNOW!!). I apologized and told him that it was really hard to see the parking spots so we didn't know how to park! To ehich he rolled his eyes and snorted at us like a bunch of silly kids! I felt as though if we were older (we are 24) he might not have talked to us like that, but then after the shower ended we found out that was not the case. About 2:30pm rolled around and we started to pick stuff up while the mother and father were opening gifts. As we were doing that and trying to pick up the kitchen some of the people that worked there were actually walking through the venue and went into the kitchen and started cleaning paint brushes. I am pretty sure when someone pays for a venue until 3pm they should be allowed to have a venue free of people walking in and out while the party is still going!!! Well I was finally ending everything and putting stuff in the cars and it was exactly 3:13pm when everything was picked up and put away. The mother's aunt asked the owner where we could take the garbage and he replied "In the dumpster," as if we knew where the dumpsters were located! She then asked where it was and he said "Over there," and pointed. Finally, she was done in the kitchen and came out and explained to the owner that we would have been out of there exactly at 3 if it were not for his workers washing paint brushes in the sink that she needed. While they complained the whole time of us being in there. He offered no apology or explanation, didn't say anything, just walked away. And that is when I found out that it wasn't just my age that was making him act rude towards my friend and I but that he just does that to everyone. So alas, I have to rate it only 1 star because of the owner and his employees!!! If your idea of camping is to sit in a field with no shade surrounded by huge campers that are practically on top of each other you will love this campground. NH has many fantastic campgrounds, this is not one of them. We called for a reservation on our way home from Maine and wanted to visit family near by. When we called we explained we had a small pop up camper and only needed a site with electric and water. They said no problem. When we arrived The first sign of this campground being not of the quality that would normally stay at is an electronic gate where you need a key card to get in. At the office they gave us a full hook up site and charged us accordingly despite the fact that we said we did not need sewer hookup with only a pop up. Additionally they put us smack in. The middle of the field, among giant rv's and 5th wheel campers. This also happened to be the furthest point to a bathroom, remember pop up no sewer hookup needed...I went back to the office asked to move to a closer site. The teenage girl working the office who gave us the site to begin had no response when i asked for a site closer to the bathroom. She simply said it is over in that building. The bathroom facilities were in the dance hall and were clean but were in need of work/update. If you don't mind sitting on the toilet and having your knees knock the door open ( no lock) then you might rate them better, FYI I am only 5'10" so it is not a height thing. Later that night it was even better when the dance hall became a country dance hall for the public and in order to use the bathroom we has to walk through a crowd of smokers blocking the way in. The ponds are for show only. No swimming, no wading and no dogs...really! Must just be there for the Mosquitos. Any ways, obviously some folks consider this camping. Next time we are in the area we will find another campground. read more

This peaceful and pretty campground has new owners as of 6 weeks ago, and they are working hard to bring the place back to its former glory. Apparently it was THE place to be 40 years ago! I chose it from several on the Internet and was pleased with what I found. The owner heard we had a new camper we weren't that familiar with, and came to help us set up the sewer, water, and electric. He checked in on us several times. All the staff were very sweet. The pool has been refurbished and looks great. The pond and its bridges are charming, and my 11-year-old loved the tire climbing wall at the playground. The sites were good-sized and there were sections with different feels: wooded, open and grassy, a beautiful tenting area, etc. The owner told us he's working on setting up a good game room; we suggested pingpong and foosball tables rather than video games. Huge bonus: On Saturday nights, they host bands or a DJ and line dancers and two-steppers come from miles around! Lessons are offered, as well. For $5 a person we had a great night with a very good country band and a friendly and fun crowd. We will come back -- and next time we're taking the line-dancing lessons!
