These guys are fabulous! We haven't used a locksmith locally so relied on Yelp reviews to pick Circle City Lock & Key. The owner Jason and his longtime friend and technician Brett run a great operation! Brett is a really smart guy who immediately grasped what we wanted to do with our 12 different locks from 4 different manufacturers all with separate keys. He arrived exactly on time, had a delightful manner and was quite knowledgeable about different locks and locking mechanisms. He was efficient and left us with the exact product we requested. When one of the locking mechanisms was sticking the next day (something it had done before their service), he promptly returned, repaired the problem and explained how that particular lock worked so I could fix it myself in the future. We didn't have the key to our new mailbox so we needed the entire lock replaced. Circle City Lock & Key was awesome! I told them I wasn't in a huge rush, but they scheduled me in for the very next day after calling them. When they arrived, they were fine with installing the lock that I bought at Lowe's (some places refuse to do that) and they made copies of the mailbox key for us at a very affordable price (right around how much it is to do at Lowe's), which saved us a trip. JB in Chapel Hill: Tim from circle city helped change all our locks in our home in chapel hill. We had to change our appt because of a delay in closing and they were very flexible. Tim even called to say he was going to be three minutes late which wasn't really necessary (I am ok with a 10 min window). Tim was friendly and very knowledgeable about the locks in our home which was good to know that we have quality materials in our home. Wow. Fast and reliable. Bret was my service locksmith. He was relentless and very patient. He picked my lock and got me out of trouble. All my keys to my 2010 toyota Corolla were lost.(DON'T ASK!) And because of the another nature of the keys the dealership was asking $360 for 2 keys and I would have needed to tow the car to the dealership. Calling around I found various prices for the key. Circle city came in at the best price at $200 for 2 keys. We set an appointment and they were on time and with minimum fuss he had me up and running again. Very courteous and professional. I was so impressed with this company. After locking myself out of my house. I have never used a locksmith so I googled and their name came up. I took my chances because the reviews were good. I am so glad I did. They were friendly, kind and they said they would be able to come in 30 minutes. I was thinking I wouldn't be that lucky but I was. We had a break-in at the house so I called Circle City to come and replace all our locks. Their schedule was full but given our circumstances they added us on to the end of their day, at 8:00 pm. They showed up on time, were professional and friendly, got all four locks replaced quickly, and inspected the house for security issues--and their bill was very reasonable!
