The tamales have the perfect proportion of masa to meat, and they are cooked all the way through and not at all gummy, like some tamales can get when they're not cooked properly. They have other tamales besides pork, but I was only interested in pork when I visited, so I can't tell you for sure what other kinds they have. This is also a grocery store, so there are lots of packaged Mexican foods here, as well as a small panderia with some bolillos and a selection of pan dulce. This looks to be a great place to find Mexican candy (Lucas, Tajin, tamarindo candy, those little disks of chalky peanut butter with the picture of the abuelita on them, etc.), as I saw a lot of different candies.
