JR's Express while on my way to the Hobby Airport Rental Center…read more I rarely take the fuel option at National Rental Car being the cost to fuel is not a real bargain unless you bring the car back empty since the option requires buying a full tank. This station appears to be well maintained and more competitive that stations closer to Hobby. If there are any negatives in regards to fueling here while traveling to the airport it's the entrance which is on the opposite side of the boulevard and a U-turn is required to access it and exiting requires you to transverse a normally busy two lane road. I didn't interact with any of the employees here but it was a pretty busy place during my visit so it seems they have a loyal clientele...

When we told the guy inside about the slow pumps... he showed zero concern and said a guy will be in around 9am... the time we were there was 6am... complete garbage.

It was late in the day but the laidback decorated space was packed, music not too loud with a pleasant vibe. I asked if I could get the pistachio dream with oatmilk and the server recommended against it saying it would make the drink too sweet. I appreciated her honest advice and got the dragonfruit strawberry refresher instead. It was definitely refreshing with the perfect amount of ice to keep it cold but not water it down. I also tried one of the mini croissants which is probably what will keep me coming back. Flaky and full of high quality cheese and spices, I wish I had gotten two! I'll definitely come back at an earlier time since a lot of the pastries were sold out.

It's usually cheap, and it usually has lower or mid price gas, and if there's a deal we usually stop here. It usually has pretty good gas and we have no complaints. Located at Bingle and Hempstead, this tiny lot is crowded with a taco truck during the day. This is the opposite of a popular slogan "everything is big in Texas". Everything is cramped in a smaller footprint. Inside of store is not inviting if your body is wide or require mechanical means to maneuver. But it has everything I need. I could not get a clear answer from the staff about the store hours. There ain't a sign posted. So I know it's closed completely at night, including gas pumps.
