Food was ready in 10-15 mins even though it was a big order. It was easy to get in/out of here. Otherwise, nothing was quite memorable about this spot. The make your own pizza is always a good idea but the execution was not great. Truly comparable to a store bought pizza. Good amount of sauce, light on the toppings and cheese, and pizza crust itself tasted borderline cardboard. The more promising option was the gluten free, cauliflower crust pizza. The burger was a standard quick pop on the grill and toss into a bun option. Fries are seasoned and thicker and might be the most edible thing ordered for us. The hardshell spicy tacos are a skip if you're looking for quality and taste, good for quanity. Quite the value for amount of food you get but the tacos when picked up broke immediately in half and are soggy, even though we live 5 minutes away. The "spicy" chicken wasn't really spicy and more of a ground up let's hide our old poultry of the day kind of a presentation. The sauce was ok, and I don't think you can really do fried okra wrong.

This was an unexpected but very welcome find on our recent trip down to Galveston for the New Year!…read moreThis is a bit further south from the main strip of Galveston but close to the Galveston Island State Park. When we got here, it was hard to figure out parking but we essentially parked on the grassy area by the food truck itself. Ambiance is great if you like al fresco dining with nice beach breezes and ocean views! Definitely a weather dependent spot since there's no indoor dining, though there are some picnic tables with umbrellas. The owner (I assume Arney?) was super friendly and gave recommendations. I ended up woth the shrimp poboy and fries. I loved the fries, shoestring, well seasoned, crisp, perfect french fries for me and I'd honestly come back for them. The shrimp poboy was also great, nice big shrimp with a great crust that stuck to the shrimp. Really good remoulade and just all around great sandwich. I also tried some of my partner's tots and fish sandwich and both were also really good. We got a sweet tea to share as well and it was a proper Southern sweet tea aka diabetes in a cup but oh so good. In sum, we lucked out and found a great local food truck slinging out great food in a super unassuming spot. When most things were closed, this was our New Year holy grail!

My partner and I wanted fresh seafood of course and were very pleased with the quality, portion, and service we received on a gorgeous day to start 2026. The fish sandwich was substantial with a nicely buttered and slightly toasted bun, crisp fish fillets with whole fish, lettuce, tomato, and I believe a tartar sauce. I added tots for $1 more than standard fries and received a massive amount. They were perfectly crisp without being too oily or overcooked like I've encountered frequently at other restaurants. This is a food truck you walk up to (located within an RV park) but there are a few picnic tables and swings you can enjoy your food at. They have an extensive menu of other seafood and sandwich options plus fair favorites like funnel cake.

Our cashier was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. My boyfriend ordered the seafood platter, and it was delicious. I had the blackened fish, which was just okay for my taste. Next time, I'll definitely be ordering the fried seafood instead. The outdoor seating with the beach view made the meal even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great visit and would definitely come back the next time i'm in Galveston.

Why 5 stars? Because this might be my new favorite restaurant in Galveston…read more --- --- --- We had been in Galveston for a couple of days, and while we had some solid meals, we were feeling kind of gross and overstuffed. Fish Company Taco proved to be like finding water in the desert. A lot of Galveston eateries are very similar, in that there's an ample amount of fried seafood on the menu, which is not exactly what you're looking for when you're in the bloated, but wanting to eat *something* state that we were in. My thought was: fish tacos are relatively light and we can walk there from our hotel - how do you beat that? What I didn't realize is that this place probably belongs more in the Heights than Galveston. And I mean that in a good way. The menu is very hipster-coded. And the food matches with hipster quality. It's hard to say what my favorite item even was. The one thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the fish dip - it was just okay. Everything else ranged from good to great. We tried... The burger: FYI, it's more like a double stacked slider than a burger, but delicious. 3 Tacos: Dirty South, Empire and Korean Flavors. I really liked the empire and the korean flavors, but thought the dirty south had a little too much going on with the pimento cheese and chips. Sticky Shrimp: I don't even know how to describe this, but it was delicious. I thought it as more like bang bang shrimp, but it was more fried that I expected. But not hardcore fried - they almost had the airy texture of fried pork skins, but were much tastier. Chili marinated Cucumbers and corn ribs: Simple, refreshing and addicting. But I liked the cucumbers a bit more. They also had some fresh juices and we enjoyed both the mango and the coconut lime concoctions. An easy 5-stars for me and a place I will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Galveston.

The Vietnamese taco stood out the most for me, while the Baja and Korean flavors were just okay, not really my favorites. Overall, it's a chill spot with a relaxed vibe and not too crowded.
