Ever since it's been turned over to New Management the store has gone to crap . Especially the young guy who works in the morning sometimes at night is rude disrespectful has a poor attitude threatens to call the police anytime he doesn't like what you have to say and he's extremely homophobic when it comes to the trans community I've watched him laugh and mock trans people in the store . It has been addressed to the new owner several times but to be quite honest with you it seems like he doesn't even understand what you're saying to him because he will just laugh and say okay okay and walk away the individual seems to still be working there after several complaints against him about being homophobic and disrespectful to the trans community. The health department needs to be called because the food is disgusting do not eat the hot dogs pastries or the muffins for 3 days there was hundreds of fruit flies crawling all over them and they were still selling them to the public instead of removing them and cleaning out the cabinet they allowed it to sit in there for three more days. Overall some of the staff and the management have a poor attitude and with all that time setting up the pastry section and the pizza section in the hot dog section there hasn't once been Pizza the hot dogs are disgusting and the pastries have fruit flies crawling all over them what a waste of time and it's unfortunate that the old owner took such Pride in his customers and the store to be turned over to someone who could care less

I grabbed a warm pretzel, healthy chips and some nuts. Wine....of course. The wines however, were not labeled under correct pricing so sticker shock happened later at the til. It was minus 200 out though so I just wanted to get home. Service was friendly after a bit of a line up. The gentleman worker/cashier told me to come back in summer when the store was cleaner and floors, drier. It looked clean and pleasant to me considering winter and heavy volume. They just have to put all their wines in the right price slots! Getting gas was a breeze. Easy and many pumps. Off a very busy main road and requires patience at rush hour coming in and leaving the lot.

On checkout, the cashier rudely told me to bag while emptying my grocery cart, which was quite full. She was rude and came across as being racist since I am of East Indian origin. She also suggested that I Van shop elsewhere. She seemed polite to other non Caucasian customers and so this is a clear case of discrimination. I was upset and left the store with a full cart of groceries without purchasing anything . I sincerely hope you look into this matter and give it serious consideration as I will definitely be sharing my experience to others. It basically has everything you need to arrive in Mont Tremblant, come to the store and be ready to cook breakfast and dinner the next day. The store is on the bus route and has a stop right at the front entrance. We stayed in the Old Village, less than a five minute walk to the store, so for us it was heaven sent. We were impressed at the quality of their food and most of all, their cheeses. They have a wide selection of ready-to-warm items which came quite handy as after a full day of skiing, there is little energy left to engage in from-scratch cooking. Staff is helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Overall, a most convenient, and well stocked place.

The Long Version: Lucky R Convenient (yeah, that's the name of the store, 2 adjectives and a letter, not in that order, lol) used to have a soft serve ice cream machine (with flavour bursts), but not anymore :( I had no idea they had it and the first time I went it wasn't working and then when I returned, they removed the machine citing poor sales due to the Dairy Queen down the street. So I never got to try it. Oh well. They still have their Mr. Freeze slushie machine though. I walk here with my little nieces to get snacks for them. Prices are the same as all convenience stores (i.e. high, lol). My nieces like browsing the store. They have these huge lollipops which the girls keep eyeing but ultimately decide on something else. They don't have that much selection for small bags of chips though, which was a bit disappointing. They have lots of big bags of chips though (selling for about $5.99 each). They do have a good selection of frozen ice cream bars, which are around $3.49 each. The man working there is very nice. The store is in a plaza. Lots of free parking in the plaza parking lot. Honestly, it's good if you're within walking distance to grab something quick or get a treat for kids, but price-wise it makes more sense to go an extra few hundred metres to go to the grocery store or drug store at Tenth Line and Charlemagne. Non-branded flavours like sour strawberry and blue raspberry were fun to choose from, but the texture left much to be desired. All of the flavours I tried were pretty watery with chunks of ice, rather than layering like a good slurpee should. Otherwise, shop was well stocked, my friend got a $2 chocolate éclair (which had frosting filling) but was otherwise passable as a $2 convenience store pastry. Staff were chill. Whole place was clean, honestly way cleaner than I expected. Very fluorescent white atmosphere. Four stars for convenience, but the slurpee alone would get 3 haha.

I like that it has single lanes, so you can drive in and drive out easily. I don't like the double ones where if you are the rear car and you finish before the front car, you have to pull around the car to exit. I know, first world problems, but hey, if I'm comparing gas stations, this is definitely a factor. This Esso has a Circle K convenience store in it. And this location has a really good selection of slushy flavours, like at least 6-10 different flavours. It also has a Tim Hortons in it and you can buy at the counter or you can go through the drive thru. Selection is a bit less than standalone Tim Hortons, but the convenience can't be beat. There are hand sanitizer dispensers at each pumping station. Staff are generally nice. Since this location is in Orleans, prices are generally lower than in Ottawa or places further west. I really like this Esso. I also love that you get Optimum points at Esso :)
