I hate that I have written a bad review on the one location near me that carries Krispy Krunchy Chicken . I am a recent transplant from Massachusetts's moved here for a job in the county sector. On 6-15-23, I stopped in after work to pick up something for an after service dinner for a family member who passed away. I want to start off with the clerk who was named Jeronimo or Jeremey. I'm pretty sure he was not telling me his correct name. So I proceed to the counter and wait while J I will call him, attends the a gentleman ahead of me but tells the guy in front of me to please wait.....so while he fiddles with the safe I presume under the counter, he finishes up helps the gentleman with his transaction, then its my turn, J doesn't make eye contact then proceeds to say just give me a second... awkward silence..... Really???ok, so I wait as he continues to what ,ever he was doing earlier with the safe and money .OK! now it is my turn......the conversation went like this. Me: Hi J: What can I do for you? Me: Can you tell me when the chicken was made? J: With a smirk on his face, he proceeds to say well that would have been at 5 a.m. this morning with a giggle ?(I found no humor in that comment), but no, I'm kidding he goes on to say. Me: ok, so when? J: About an hour and a half ago Me: ok, how much is it? J: With frustration says well I DONT KNOW THE PRICES.""I DONT WORK THAT SIDE IT DEPENDS??? ME: Really, I asked you because I thought you worked here????!!! at this point, I'm already annoyed by his lack of professionalism and jokes about it being made at 5 a.m. and well,I was going through my own personal stuff with having to attend the funeral that evening and then the dinner. I simply looked at and said, "Never mind, I don't want it after all." I was not impressed by his lack of customer service. Before I left the store, I did say you should not work here if customer service is not your thing! all you had to do was say Mam You will need to order on the other side or whatever it is you have to do to place a order. These two stars are for Dennis. I would give him 5 stars if this app was for rating just an employee. Worst gas station ever, besides Dennis who is so pleasant and very friendly. The manager Christy is rude and slow. There is always a huge line at this gas station, I think the cashiers don't know what they're doing. Including the manager. It always smells in there. There's some kind of food bar and it stinks all the time. Foul odor like something is rotten or not clean. Overall I only come here for my cigs and I usually get Dennis helping me behind the counter. MIDNIGHT AT THE GAS STATION Sounds like it would be a great band name, however this was the situation I so happened to be in at midnight last night. GETTING JUMPED -- was what crossed my mind the whole time I was filling gas. There were plenty of lights, and a fence that blocked off the open dirt lot to the left of the station, but I couldn't shake the feeling... GAS QUALITY? hahaha more like "What quality?" I hate putting crappy gas in my car, so I usually just put a few bucks till I make it over to somewhere better. I give it a 3/5 Star for convenient alone. First let me say, I was the first person to put Krispy Krunchy in yelp and with a great rating. This Location needs new cooks or management. I went twice just hoping it was a fluke..no, I even tried to order some chicken for a party and asked them to use fresh grease..still burnt, dry, and biscuits were beyond edible. Three starts actually means "this is pretty good," considering we're talking about a Circle K here. If you just want fuel then ignore this review, cuz it's all about the junk food and employees within. First off I was surprised to see Thrifty's Icecream is now inside Circle Ks. I haven't been in one for a while obviously because to me, Thrifty's Icecream has always been part of, well Thrifty's even though they don't exist anymore. But when I saw that good old Rainbow Sherbert from when I was a 5 year old kid, I had to try it again. The nostalgia is and was waxing pretty hard, so I took a shine to this store because of it. To be frank, this store is a bit TOO laid back for its own good. I've seen people come up in here with those barrel-shaped thermoses and fill them with ice. Like, not actually buying a drink. Just filling up their own containers while standing in huge ass groups since the fountain is at the back of the store, and the cashiers can't see people stealing from the fountain. We mainly went here because a buddy of ours was insisting that the Krispy Krunchy chicken they sell there is "pretty **** good for GAS STATION food." It's quite awesome how well Krispy Krunchy has set things up to allow for anybody, including people who have no business in food preparation, are able to make some pretty freakin' good chicken. Yes, it's good for gas station chicken. The honey butter biscuits are impecable as well... and not just for gas station food. They're good period. I'd buy a few of just those instead of chips or chex mix or corn nuts. This place /IS/ in a low key hood in Perris. So as another review mentioned back in 2011, yeah, you might feel like you're going to get jumped. Maybe don't go here past sundown unless you're with the homies. Despite being in a desert ghetto, the store itself is actually QUITE clean and well-kept these days. I actually felt like they deserved their A rating for cleanliness. Even with ten pounds of ice on the fountain and people spilling **** everywhere, they keep it clean and in a timely manner. The store itself rules. The location is a bit shady. If you're around, pick up some chicken. Just be aware everybody around here loves it and it might be hard to get some. read more

This establishment was a little bit better before the remodeling, I have gone inside to purchase hot dogs and they are either not ready(10am-2pm) if I ask when or how long before it's ready the reply (with attitude) would be "it's gonna be a while and this has happened on several occasions with the young lady that work in the deli. There's lots of Attitude at this K and the cashiers has Big Attitues. There's one young lady that wears briads and I've had encounters with her twice while purchasing gas that's very professional. I went in last past Thursday around 11am and believe or not they had hot dogs so I asked the lady in the deli if the onions were fresh bc to me they looked off white(rotten) and she said she Didn't know.SMH The management needs an over haul and if these young women don't like their jobs then they should move on and let someone else do it that cares. read more

So I've been to the Circle K quite a few times and I continue to have an issue with Layla. She yet again refuse to sell me a lottery ticket without ID yet she told my younger fiance beer with no license right next to me in the same visit when I had came back in to ask her about it she said she picks and chooses who she wants to ID and said its up to her and to call corporation if I have an issue totally unprofessional and honestly she should not be working there. By law you cannot pick and choose you have to ID everybody she wants to worry about a lotto ticket yet sell beer with no ID that's a bunch of crap she's lucky I didn't climb over the counter. Store attendant witnesses a verbal altercation among two customers, and physical assault to an elderly man as he was leaving the store.The woman who assaulted the man was very familiar with the employee and seems like she works here in another shift. She was very verbally loud and scary. There were many customers in the store waiting to pay. Woman was challenging the man to a fight and when the man declined she hit him in his back as he was leaving out the door. She should be fired if she works there! read more

Location, Location, Location. This place has pros and cons to their location. First, it is conveniently located right off the freeway! Yayy! Right? Eh, when you're in the middle of Perris, CA that may not be such a good thing. Lets face it this area is not known for being the most upscale part of town. I stop here with my hubby on the way to work when we work together and it is very convenient off the 215 heading toward Riverside or Temecula. We can pop in and off put gas in and grab some coffee or Red Bull and BOLT out of there in a jiffy....unless there is a long line. Today there was a line wrapped around the candy aisle. That was not a plus. We counted on getting in and out asap, but with the line we were held back a few minutes.... The staff was friendly, there was a cheerful lady cleaning the coffee area and the cashier was also very friendly and offered us a bag. Bottom line, this is a gas station located in Perris. Please don't go here and expect Beverly Hills. I would keep one eye over my shoulder at all times especially at night. Other than that, it is what it is. A gas station mini mart. There is nothing spectacular about it and nothing too terrible other than the location not being all that safe. read more

I received a call today from the manager that reviewed the tape and listened to the audio from it. She apologized and definitely appeared to be taken back by the behavior of the employees.
