This clean and efficient gas station is the new standard for convenience stores. Brightly lit, well stocked, reasonably priced, CLEAN and with associates who can actually speak English in a friendly manner. Love the QT. Hot dogs look like maybe they haven't been sitting on the rollers for hours. Coolers are well stocked with cold drinks. And the gas pumps actually have squeegees and liquid for cleaning windshields. I love the QT concept and execution.

The cashier carded me (because I "look under 40", I am 47!!!) and I didn't want to get my purse and come back inside because it was FREEZING out! I told the cashier (Ed, I think he said) I would go get the person who was actually wanting the alcohol and have him come inside to purchase it (he was the Designated Driver & wanted to be able to drink once we were back home in NC). He was smoking while I tried to get the drinks so we could hurry up and get home since kids were in the car and very tired, as was I. So, I tapped on the glass to get the attention of my cousin who was smoking out by the car and pointed to the alcohol to sign "hey, I don't have my id" and motioned for him to come inside to pay for it. As I approached the register to sit the alcohol down on the counter and let 'Ed' know that someone would come inside to pay for it, I hear Walter on the phone with the police telling them that he needs them to come to the store because I stole the alcohol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What!? Are you freaking kidding me.....? WTAF.....? I explained to Walter that he had just heard me explain to the cashier what I was doing and that I could not believe he actually called the police on me. To this day I am still appalled! This young punk has no business working in customer service! They definitely cannot gauge someone's age correctly! I have a daughter who is 19 years old in College! And although very flattering, I haven't been carded in 12 years. Out of principle, I left the alcohol sitting there and none of us... myself, my husband, my aunt nor my two cousins will EVER shop at another QT again! I will get all of our family in SC to agree to do the same! This was beyond frustrating, and just WOW!

The entrance is easy to access and getting back out was simple as well. Inside, lots and lots of options for food and drink. Roller grill hot dogs and the like, plenty of fresh choices, lots of salty and sweet snacks, pizza and more. Soda fountains, icee drinks and yes, coffee with all the fixings. Yes, it…read morehas become a habit to stop here when I am driving to the Carolinas, but there is a reason for it. It is simply a very good gas station chain periods they have a good selection of fountain drinks and their roller bar has hot dogs and taquitos period really comma what's not to love? The service at this particular location was excellent period there was a long line and yet the girl behind the counter never lost her smile nor her efficiency. I am sure that is not always easy to do because some people can get rather nasty when they are long lines.
