I and a friend, both 60 year old, white, blonde women stopped at Circle K to get cigarettes and were refused by the black manager Erica. I had ID and didn't mind showing it, however, unbeknownst to me, my license had expired... I had other ID and am obviously not under 30, but that wasn't good enough. So my friend tried to buy them and again she refused stating it was a 3rd party sale...??? Are you kidding me? I really thought she was kidding, but she wasn't. We tried to present our argument regarding age, but she just smirked and went about her business. I can't get over the pettiness and rudeness. So instead we went to Doodles and had no problems. Highly recommend Doodles for all your purchases! Support local businesses. I learned my lesson. The NC law Under N.C. Gen. As a customer, every time you call, you will get an automated prompt. You will NOT have an option to speak to a human being. If you try, you'll be put on hold for literally hours ..usually until the phone call drops. If you try their chat bot on the website, they will give you the option to transfer to an agent but the agent never picks up the chat. There is literally no customer service. They must keep their overhead down by not hiring human beings in customer service. This is reality, folks. If you sign up with them, expect this. You've been warned.

I stopped service with Amerigas over a month ago. They told me I would be refunded for any gas over…read more5% in the tank. It was at 29% at time of pickup (which they waited a few weeks to pickup). When I call customer service they confirmed this and said I would receive my refund. I call today (2 weeks after pickup) and they asked why I think I should get a refund. Then they tell me I was right, I am owed a refund and they proceed to tell me they have no idea how much it is or how long it will take. This is not the type of service I expext from a reputable company. I pay my bills on time 100% of the time. When I requested stop service, I paid their final bill to them immediately. If you value good service and a company that values their customers, do not use Amerigas.
