Meat prices almost comparable to Sam's which means the quality here is much better and worth it. So many samples. I had a fresh warm blueberry donut and it was So soft and moist. Not too sweet which can bd dangerous bc I could eat a dozen in one sitting.

Detwiler's Farm Market is hands down one of my favorite places to shop for anything fresh. When I…read moresay farm fresh, I mean straight-from-the-farm fresh -- and they truly support local farmers. The produce section is always piled high with the most beautiful displays of fruits and vegetables. They make fresh salsa in-house, have an entire area of fresh fruit (even a station where you can core your own pineapple!), and offer some of the freshest seafood and meats around. The deli is just as impressive, with sandwiches, soups, and salads -- and you can have a sandwich made exactly how you like it. There's even a cheese bar where they sample specialty cheeses. Around special occasions like Valentine's Day, you'll find them hand-dipping chocolate-covered strawberries and offering samples. Their bakery is incredible. Everything is made from scratch -- the cinnamon rolls are absolutely amazing, and we love the cookies and cakes. They bake their own bread and even make their own donuts. From the produce to the meat department to the bakery, everything at Detwiler's is truly top-notch. They also have an ice cream counter featuring homemade Yoder's ice cream. You can grab a sundae, milkshake, or even an açai bowl while you're there. Yes, it's always busy -- but somehow the checkout lines move quickly every single time. They are incredibly efficient, and the staff is some of the friendliest and most helpful you'll find anywhere. The store is beautifully decorated, with each department thoughtfully themed. They play uplifting Christian music throughout the store, and no matter how crowded it gets, it's always a pleasant experience. People are genuinely smiling -- even the shoppers seem happy to be there. If you're visiting from out of town, Detwiler's is a must-stop. And if you're local, it deserves a permanent spot on your weekly shopping list. Decor, quality, service -- it's a 10 out of 10 every time.

If you're looking for a market that's something like Whole Foods , look no further than Sprouts!!…read more I was so excited to find this market here in Melbourne. When I visit here I'm usually very hard pressed to find a selection of organic, healthy ready made foods, great produce , kombucha choices and a good variety of my usual staples of high protein low carb ,vegetarian and even some vegan dairy items for other friends and family. I have been here for two weeks and been to Sprouts three times!! They had the best peaches I've had in past memory. For family members I found balsamic glazer cherry salmon with roasted vegetables ready to simply bake, which we did and they loved. Not as much of a selection of vegetarian ready to eat sandwiches or meals as I would have expected. But there was a delicious apple quinoa pumpkin seed and kale side salad that I couldn't stop eating. Lovely selection of baked goods, gluten free, vegan and for the rest of us just regular! Excellent service from really friendly and helpful staff. Well worth stopping in

Some may not remember this but years ago, Brevard County had quite a few options when it came to…read morealternative groceries. On US-192 in Melbourne, we had Lucky's. On Murrell Rd. up in Rockledge, we had Earth Fare. And of course there are the constant rumors of finally having a Whole Foods here. But for some reason, what we had just suddenly closed. We did have local alternative groceries, which I am thankful for, but I know a larger alternative grocery would provide more options. Ergo, I am happy Sprouts decided to open here in Melbourne, FL, especially since I got to experience them in Tampa because my sister is a regional manager for their personal health department. Located on Hollywood Blvd., in the same plaza as LA Fitness Palm Bay, Sprouts is a stand-alone store that provides many of the same options both Lucky's and Earth Fare had. They have all the typical grocery departments including a bakery, deli, produce, personal health, and such. They do have an ambiance similar to our local Downtown Produce and the Thrifty Produce located in Rockledge on Eyester Blvd. For example, above their milk and diary wall, their signage is framed within a dairy farm setting. Other sections have old-time farmer's market signage above them complete with corrugated metal roofing and treated wood panels. Much of the base grocery is alternative healthier choices from what mainstream groceries provide. However, what stands out are their produce, meat and deli, and bakery. Everything is made fresh, and most are in-house. They provide freshly-squeezed juices, fresh-cut veggies and fruits, and pre-made meals that you can take home and cook. My personal favorite section is the personal care section, which provides alternative personal care and health options that actually work, from what I see. I definitely like the CBD gummies that provide sleep. There is much more to explore when I eventually go back here to Sprouts. For now, I am going to give the store a four out of five stars. They have everything you may want in an alternative grocery. The prices may be a little high, but that seems to be the case when it comes to quality. That is why Publix prices are usually higher than places like Walmart or Food Lion and so on. If this Sprouts remains consistent on their four-star quality and service on average (I'll give them a bad day or two), then they'll earn their fifth star for consistency.

The prices on most items are quite affordable and less than other stores. The aisles are neatly arranged and I found it easy to locate items I was looking for. During my visit to Florida, I think I ended up visiting about 4 times. During my visits, I purchased pre packaged peanut brittle, fresh baked cinnamon roll ($1.99), hand scooped ice cream (I believe a double scoop was $2.99), an acai bowl ($6.99) and a made fresh to order English muffin sandwich ($3.99). All of the staff was very friendly and didn't dilly dally. Everything was very good. I will definitely be visiting again when I'm in Florida.

I am somewhat disappointed still in the Venice store after the expansion for not having better parking and not being big enough to carry things like Milton Crackers and ANY type of Soy milk and many items the OTHER Detwiler's do carry. It's just too far to go to Stickney/Clarke or way up to Honoré as the next closest! We are forced to cheat on you with now opened Sprouts, Aldi, Publix (yes I am THAT desperate that I have to get raped a Publix which is basically a BIG 7-11 and huge rip off) , or a Winn-Dixie. For vegetables, and the majority of what we buy weekly we go to Detwiler's!!! and for the rest and things not available like paper products and beverages and etc we are Costco folks. The people at this store are awesome and maybe even nicer than the OTHER Detwiler's if that is possible? Great store, we spend many thousands per year here!
