Seriously if your are traveling in the area and can stay at least one night.... do not let the opportunity to stay here pass you by. You will not regret it. This beautiful little ranch sits atop of a hill that has a marvelous 360 view (hence the circle view). The family that runs the ranch are simply wonderful, the hospitality they have is truly a gift. Enough of the mushy stuff though, lets get real. You want a mind blowing breakfast every morning? BOOM. Here is where you go. You want to have a guided tour of the county side? SHAZAM. This family got you covered. You need to find a place to be well rested for the next leg of your journey? KA-POW. Here is where you will find it.

My family & I came up from Florida on a road trip and the kids have always wanted to stay on a ranch. The look on their faces when the chickens came out running was priceless. The morning sunrise was beautiful over the Badlands. We stayed in Suite 9, the beds were very comfy. Even the sleeper sofa was comfy. The suite had a kitchenette and bathroom. The water pressure was great. The views were amazing. The night walk was phenomenal. The owners were very nice and their kids were adorable. The kids run the morning chores and took charge like little men. The breakfast was excellent. This was everything we hoped for. We will stay again if we are ever in the area and we highly recommend that you stay here. I can't say enough positive things. Thank you for opening up your ranch house to us.

Wonderful bed and breakfast. We stayed in room one and wish we could stay longer. Very welcoming and charming home, with tons of couches and tables to play games, eat and talk. Beautiful view of the river and surrounding canyons. The family has a home on the property with swing sets, peacocks, chickens, and very sociable cats. Very convenient location and absolutely delicious breakfast. Comfy beds and clean rooms as well!!! The family and dogs are so hospitable and we loved chatting with other guests at the communal breakfast. Definitely stay and try to stay for a few nights! read more

Staying at Circle View Ranch is like staying at your best friend's house but with better food and better towels. The warm family feel of the ranch and the hospitality of Amy, the host made we want to stay and forget the rest of my trip. A must do for anyone visiting the Badlands. read more

If you are going to be anywhere near The Circle View Guest Ranch in South Dakota, STAY HERE!!! Aside from the breathtaking (SERIOUSLY!) views, the food... OMG the food!!! The Badlands can be seen just off in the distance, and I have never stayed somewhere more serene than The Circle View Guest Ranch. Although there were other guests, there was so much space that it was easy to avoid them when I wanted to be alone. And the food. They make EVERYTHING from scratch from their farm. It was delicious, and I could eat the scones for every meal for the rest of my life. read more

Amazing breakfast, interactive hosts, and just a great atmosphere in general. Foosball and Ping pong in a game room, and had a beautiful overlook. An amazing experience, easily a 10/10. Will come again. read more

A fun place to stay for our family of 4. I only wish we would have stayed 2 nights rather than just one. Our kids loved exploring the property and playing with the animals. And the breakfast is AMAZING! I highly recommend it if you are planning to stay in the Badlands. read more

This place is great. Phil and Amy are so warm and welcoming and the kids are all very polite and very outgoing. We were there only one night and they had 42 guests for breakfast! Breakfast was delicious and both my wife and I ate enough that we didn't even need to stop and eat lunch. I have mobility issues but Phil and his youngest drove the Mule ATV around to the top to pick me up and drive me around to the lower level for breakfast and 8 year old Jacob (?) drove me back up after breakfast. He made sure I got to the door safely before thanking us for staying with them. What a guy! The only "bad" thing was we weren't able to stay any longer so we could better explore the ranch or the area. I would love to return for several days to fully experience the ranch. Thanks Phil and Amy for everything. We had a fantastic stay. read more

So here's our story, we were roadtripping and planned to camp in badlands, it looked overcast and we thought about looking for a hotel in case it rained. Long story short we ended up camping and i called Amy (owner) and asked if she could make an exception for us and let us come for breakfast only because i was tempted by her breakfast menu in their website. So She charged us for breakfast only and WOW im sooo glad i went! Best breakfast ever! With free range eggs, everything from scratch and made with love. The place is filled with a beautiful warming vibe, the owners are so nice they make you feel at home. I cant wait to go back to south dakota, next time we're staying there! read more

An amazing find. Our favorite stay on our road trip. Beautiful scenery, homey b&b. Phil and Amy are wonderful hosts. Stay at least 2 days to enjoy. Breakfast is awesome. Bring some of your own food to keep in the kitchen, not much in town. We were 3 friends staying, most were families. Suitable for all. This is THE PLACE to stay when visiting BADLANDS. it says Scenic SD but the closest town is really Interior, SD. Did i mention bring your own food for all meals outside of breakfast at the ranch? Otherwise eat your other meals inside Park - the best option of not many. read more

What an absolute gem. This family could not be more adorable or welcoming. I had a wonderful stay in room 4. I was the only visitor because I was there mid-week in the off season, but I get the same great treatment as I presume everyone gets. The kids are adorable and I really enjoyed walking around the vast property. Breakfast was so good, made with many home-grown ingredients. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area. read more

We originally planned to spend 2 nights here. We had a couple of changes and ended up staying 3, and we were very happy it turned out that way. The views are beautiful, the ranch is huge, provides almost unlimited opportunity to explore, the Badlands National Park is only a few miles down the road and is spectacular. Chickens, burros, prairie dogs. But maybe most of all, we felt so at-home with the family! They are very welcoming. The kids sat with us at breakfast. The ten year old daughter can check you in and out (and drive the ATV and ride the unicycle!); the boys chatted easily, casually with all the unfamiliar adults. And, of course, their parents were terrific. Maybe the breakfast that impressed us the most was blueberry pancakes made from wheat they had grown, and had milled themselves that very morning! It was a place we went because we wanted to see the Badlands; having been there, we might well go back just to be at the ranch. read more

My family recently visited SD and the Badlands and were fortunate enough to be able to stay at Circle View Ranch. We (I) had procrastinated in making lodging reservations and had hoped to stay at a cabin/ranch/out of the ordinary place during our visit, but couldn't find any place that had a vacancy or fit our interest. Thanks to my daughter's efforts, she found Circle View and it was serendipity!!. The ranch is a working ranch, which I appreciated having grown up on a farm, and the friendly atmosphere and surroundings were terrific. The family couldn't be any friendlier (even if having been asked the same visitor questions a thousand times before), the peace and tranquility was as you would hope, and the breakfast.... well, my college age children still talk about it.(try the blackberry butter). My only regret was that we couldn't stay any longer, but know full well, that if we get back to SD again, we will stay here (and this time I wont procrastinate!!) read more

My husband and I and our 5-month old daughter stayed her during our journey across the country. We found out about it on trip advisor, so it's about time there is a review on yelp. It's a little pricier than other hotels in the area, but it is worth every penny. The ranch is isolated on top of a small hill and gives spectacular views of the badlands. It's a real working ranch and the owner is a fourth generation cowboy. It was branding season when we were there and we saw the cows and chicks! Both him and his wife are in their early thirties and very hospitable. We were there during the off season so we were the only people staying that night and they treated us like good friends. This place is definitely for people who don't want the usual chain hotel experience. The rooms are all unique, well decorated and very clean. There is a kitchen in the large open living room that guests can use. There is nowhere to eat dinner in Interior, so I suggest you buying something at a store and bringing back. read more
