From the moment we decided to circumcise, we knew we would use Cantor Howard Glantz. He came highly recommended by our midwife, and on top of that, he had circumcised one of my nephews! We had heard and read shining reviews and appreciated the fact he would come to our home. Short version: Cantor Howard is a skilled professional whose decades of practice has perfected his craft. On top of that, he truly cares about all of the families he serves. We have contacted him more than once (even after hours) with questions and he has always given generously of his time to ensure everyone is healed and happy. We appreciated his follow up call about 10 days later to make sure things were perfect. Long version: Cantor Howard and his lovely wife came to our home appropriately donned in PPE, and quickly put us at ease. I was nervous about the procedure, but she helped me feel comfortable by explaining the process thoroughly. After I completed the paperwork, she helped me make a sugar water sponge to distract my son. Cantor Howard sang a song and, at our request, said a blessing while he performed the circumcision. It felt really special, and we appreciated that personal touch. They stayed while I nursed my son, and then checked his diaper to make sure he was bleeding an appropriate amount. I'm so glad he spent the extra time with us, because my son was a bleeder! Cantor Howard carries a bleed-stop agent, which worked extremely well and stopped the bleeding instantly. He showed us how to care for our son, and gave us several tubes of ointment to use. After they left, he checked in on us several times in the coming days, offering to come back if we needed. My wife and I decided to have our first home birth and one of the milestones that we did not think about in the beginning was circumcision. Rabbi Glantz was a professional while also making the ceremony excellent and religious. He answered all of our questions beforehand. He was honest and knowledgeable. He used sterile tools. I felt that Rabbi Glantz was extremely competent when handling my son during the procedure and ceremony. He was helpful afterwards multiple times when we were concerned. He answered within minutes which was impressive. We were worried and went to a doctor afterwards just in case and the doctor confirmed what Rabbi Glantz had told us that everything was perfectly healthy.
