A TELEX MACHINE (which I used to operate). When I asked the staff if they had one none of them even knew what I was talking about (early 20's)! We took the tram tour and really enjoyed it. The tram moved at a nice pace so you could really take in everything. So much to see - everywhere. It was a really fun way to spend a few hours on a rainy day! But I urge you to visit rain or shine!

They recently added axe throwing, which turned out to be a highlight of our visit. The staff was wonderful -- great instruction, high energy, and made the experience fun and comfortable even for first-timers. The food deserves a mention too. The house-made pizza was genuinely delicious -- not typical "fun center food," but pizza you'd happily order anywhere. And as a mom, I especially appreciated the coffee! They have an impressive selection made with high-end equipment, which was very welcome while keeping up with the kids. Everything was clean, organized, and the staff throughout the facility was friendly and helpful. This is a great place for families with teens and anyone looking for a fun outing. The concessions were expensive even by venue standards. $14 for a can of lite beer and $7 for a soft pretzel. Our seats were outstanding facing the center of the stage at eye level. The stage rotates and no matter where you are you will have a good view. My favorite segments were the double dutch group the trampoline acrobats and the woman who swung on a cable by her hair. Her movements were amazing. She must use a lot of Tylenol. The bike finale was a great way to end the show. The music and vocals were also very good and set the tone for each act. I've never seen a Cirque du Soleil show (or as I like to call it, "Circus - Ole!") My jaw was on the floor throughout the entire performance. Volta blew away any expectations I had for this show. I knew I'd see some cool aerial stunts, but I did not expect to see a very moving, emotional story told through outstanding vocalists, musicians, dancers, AND acrobats (and don't forget the costumes!!). The pure strength and talent of every single cast member blew my mind - I cannot even imagine the YEARS of training you must have to perform in one of these shows. There were definitely moments I was overwhelmed by the lights, sounds, and sparkles. There was so much to see, and I didn't want to miss any of it! I felt like I was turning into my mother towards the end of the show, as I was anxiously on the edge of my seat, worried about someone falling or making a wrong move. It was a good anxiety, though, and kept me fully entertained. The entire show, from start to finish, is just a little less than 2 hours, and that includes a 25 minute intermission. The venue is very nice - it looks like a real circus tent! I was worried it'd be hot inside, given the temperatures outside, but it was very pleasant. In fact, if you're prone to chills, I might bring a light cardigan or something. There are your typical overpriced concessions - $5 bottles of soda/ water, $12 beers, $15 wine. The food selection is pretty scarce, so I would definitely plan on grabbing dinner somewhere else prior to the show. There are really no bad seats in the house, and crowds and parking were extremely manageable - way better than I anticipated. Just be careful leaving the parking lot, because this is a very dark, fairly rural area of PA and is prone to deer. Thank you SO SO SO much to the entire Yelp Philly team. This was an incredible, memorable experience. I HIGHLY recommend this show to anyone who can appreciate art, acrobatics, and music - it's a very entertaining show for all ages.

The guys' act was so fast and skillful. Fun to watch. When the lady delicately balanced all those bones, I held my breath; afraid to clap until the very end! At first I thought there was a sound track playing since we sat way over to the side (near where the performers enter the stage.) In the heart of Abington, and about a hundred yards away from the Roslyn train station, you can…read morefind Briar Bush, a hidden nature preserve tucked away on Edge Hill road. With scenic walking trails, an outdoor classroom, day camps and a small indoor animal habitat, Briar Bush is a great spot for small children, couples on a date, or anyone looking for a brief respite from the urgency of the modern world. With free admission for locals and a small fee for out-of-towners, the preserve is accessible to all patrons provided that they are able to walk down some wooded trails that circle through the admittedly short walking routes. The centerpiece of the trails is a picturesque, secluded pond with benches for sitting and an interactive sign with information on the local fauna and flora. The indoor animal habitat has a small gift shop, pamphlets on upcoming events and information on other parks in the area, and several interesting animals such as a blind possum named Odin, a bearded lizard named Karl, and several other unique turtles and reptiles. All of Briar Bush can be walked through in an hour or so, but the low admission, interactive nature events and scenic walking trails will have you wanting to return again soon.

Then I found Turkey Hill Ice cream Experience only 30min away from Lancaster, and decided to visit. We bought the double scoop experience (comes with ice cream test lab) and obviously that was the highlight of the place! The test lab is about 45min experience and the whole thing with self-guided tour takes about 1hr 30min to 2 hours depending how crowded it is. The visit was fun and of course my 5-year-old daughter had a great time eating tons of ice cream!

Admission prices are reasonable, and who doesnt love unlimited samples of iced tea, and lemonade, icecream on a hot day. Vistors have a choice between one scoop, two scoop, or three scoop attraction. I choose one scoop; hilights of my visit- learning history of Turkey Hill, process of icecream being made, creating a virtual icecream flavor, watching the production , live from interactive camera in one of the exhibits. Be sure to take the few moments, to watch the introduction video. My favorite ice cream sample flavors were Graham Slam & Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake. An attraction must, well visiting Lancaster, PA. My recommendation would be too sell a few more flavors that you offer , with unlimited tastings. My favorite was orange icedtea.
