My SUV usually cries when I fill up, but today it purred. Inside, they have a full coffee bar that actually tastes delicious. Not gas station coffee where you need to make a wish and hope for the best. This is legit, warm your soul, keep you awake kind of coffee. Christa and I both approved. The employees were super friendly too. You can tell they actually like being here, which makes the whole place feel clean, easy, and welcoming. And the best part? A ton of gas pumps. No waiting, no awkward circling like you're hunting for parking at the mall. Just pull up, fuel up, and go. If you're passing through, stop here. QT knows how to treat travelers right.

This super-charged fun mobile runs better on Shell gasoline for some reason, so I pulled in to fill her up with 93 octane which is a requirement to avoid engine damage according to the manufacturer. At $4.499 a gallon I love the performance and acceleration but at about 9 miles to the gallon and a small tank these pit stops are frequent and costly but I love everything this little 2004 Wrangler TJ brings to the game so she always gets the good stuff. This station is definitely convenient, for this grade of fuel it's seems competitive for the area and the pay at the pump option is a must, unfortunately on this day you'd have to see the attendant to get a receipt which sucks especially when traveling in from out of town. I guess after pumping gas today I'll have to verify the charges were accurately posted on my credit card statement and if it's not it's going to be a pain in the ass to correct. I noticed that this station is actually officially called Patel's Shell but you'd never know it by looking at the advertisement or lack of signage here, no big deal for me I just found it interesting, I mean if this was my business I'd have my name plastered all over the pumps and building no matter I think I'd stop here often if I lived in the area - I can't speak of the staff or the interior of the store because I refuse to go inside when it's "pay at the pump" that doesn't work, was the dispenser empty of tape, or was it out of order or is it intentional to get the customers inside to grab a 12-pack, some smokes or a quart of milk.
