Went there about 3-4 weeks ago to have a color change on my acrylics. The lady who did my nails was super nice they looked nice but I was charged $25 for a color change. She then told me as I was leaving if I came back it would only be $20 to get my nails filled. Went to have my nails filled today and was there for an hour and a half. The girl filed the gel polish of my nails, and also cut my cuticles on a few nails. I was then charged %20 for the fill and $15 for the gel polish. Nowhere on their website does it say $15 for gel polish plus the price of the fill. Only went back because I was told $20 for a fill. Will not be going back, I will continue to go to the original place I went too. read more

I gave 1 star only because you can't give negative stars. I went in as a walk in for a simple trim. I was seated in the previous customer's hair clippings, on the chair and floor. My hair was obviously dirty, yet the stylist didn't ask or offer a shampoo. I told her I wanted my bangs trimmed and she cut half of them, ignoring the fact I had brushed them up out of my eyes. i was in town for the weekend and i went in to make an appointment. the woman stared at the planner with two names in it for a solid 5 minutes like she didn't understand how the schedule was structured. i made an appointment for 4:15 the next day for a acrylic fill and gel polish. i arrived 15 minutes early because that's what you do where i am from. the nail tech had not even begun polish on the client before me. i sat and waited for an hour until i decided to leave because i had somewhere to be. if u can't take someone at the time they scheduled them don't take the appointment. if it takes you OVER AN HOUR to do gel polish on someone there is a larger issue. i understand it's a small town and there's not a lot of salons, but holy fuck pick up the pace. i could do gel nails on someone in 30 minutes and have time to sanitize my station before my next client even arrived. this type of service would not fly in baltimore. never will i come here again. i will make it a point to get my nails done before coming to wellsville again. read more

Terrible wait time even with appointments. No greeting nothing. We were double booked which was awful plus the tech didn't show up but didn't call to tell us....way hot no fans. I made an appt for 2 pedi's and one full set. I made sure there was gunna b time bc I had other things to do that day (my school dance was that night). My appt was supposed to b for 10:30 and was written down for 10:00. The only other appt that day was supposed to b at like 1:00 and it was 2 hair appts. Mind u there were like 5 girls working. They told us that they were just short handed, no.... my full set took 3 hrs and then we were told we were gunna have to reschedule our pedis, no. I told them that I had made the appt over a month in advance, I was getting my service when I was supposed to get it (at this point it was about 1:30). One girl said she would do us, and she did a very nice job and she was very nice. I didn't leave a tip at all bc I was still charged full price for everything, PLUS there recent mark up on everything. The owners daughter son came in with like nasty clothes on and a vape in his hand and asked her for money while she was doing someone else's hair. And a few of the girls sat around and did nothing but drink there milk shakes and sit on there phone, refusing to do any work. Another girl came in that day (I go to school with her) and she got an up due for our dance that night. By time she got home, her hair was straight (was curled), and the poof she had, was flat, AND it took the girl doing her hair like forever to do. I made an appointment a week in advance for a set of acrylic nails t be done on Sunday 1/28/18 at 2pm. I walked in, first time having ever been there and sat down. Not once did anyone acknowledge my entering the establishment or say Hello, someone will be right with you. I waited for awhile before someone even came over and asked if I had an appointment. I said I did, she went to the book, looked it over, seemed very confused and said someone will be with you soon. About 25 minutes later that same gal, Angela finally came over and said she could help me now never apologizing for my wait. She did an okay job so I made an appointment for a fill for 2 weeks later for Sunday 2/11/18, same time 2pm. I work all week so weekends are my only time available. I was there promptly at 2pm and again no one acknowledge my entrance or said Hello nothing...... I saw Angela giving a perm to another girl. I wondered why would she schedule a perm during my appointment? Figured out later she was probably a walk in. By 2:45 I was sick of waiting and no one even explaining to me they were running behind etc. So I got up to leave. Ironically at just that same time Angela comes to the desk so apologetic they are behind blah blah blah. I said I'm sorry too but I don't have all day to sit here reading magazines and I left. Later that night I get a phone call from Christine VanPelt apologizing for what had happened, they had overbooked, would I please come back and this would be at no charge. So I did but had to squeeze it in that Wednesday after I got out of work which is not convenient for me by any stretch but I was going to let them right the wrong. Luckily Angela was ready & waiting for me right at 4:30. Great all's good I thought. Okay so I scheduled yet another fill for 2 weeks out for Sunday 2/25/18, same time 2pm. Arrived right on time and this time Angela came right over and said she was doing a polish right then, it would just be a few minutes, asked if I minded waiting just a few she'd be right with me. Well did I really have a choice? I appreciated her at least acknowledging me and letting me know it would be just a few minutes. At 2:15 another girl that had walked in behind me said "so much for a scheduled 2pm appointment" I said you too? She said this happens ALL the time. She also felt that they let the "walks ins" interfere with the scheduled appointments. Also 3 young girls that walked in at the same time also were scheduled for 2 pm appointments. I couldn't figure out how they were going to get all of us in. By 2:30 I was still waiting, along with the 3 young girls but I said enough is enough I'm done doing this and left. A few minutes is one thing but come on this was 1/2 hour later.....Sure enough shortly after leaving I get a call from Angela saying she's so sorry, we're just swamped, Sunday's is our busiest day. By then I had enough of that place and refused to reschedule and told her I was not coming back there ever. Maybe if they'd keep the scheduled appointments on schedule and stop trying to fit in walk ins there wouldn't be so much back up there. Apparently this is an on going thing from the chatter I heard while sitting there waiting for so long. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I have never written a review in my life, this experience was so horrible I feel compelled to do so! Scheduled a mani-pedi day with 2 sisters and niece, appointments were made 3 weeks in advance,3 Mani -Pedi's and 1 set of acrylic nails. When the appointments were scheduled we confirmed services would be provided to all at the same time. We were not greeted upon entering. 10 minutes later a teenager dressed like she just rolled out of bed came over asked if we had appointments then proceeded to tell us to pick out a color. Our foot baths were filled with water, we were told to soak our feet someone would be right with us, There was no personal service on chair setup, confirmation of water temperature etc. AT ALL!!! We sat with our feet in the water for 30 minutes before anyone checked on us. It was clear they were not prepared, no plan of how to accommodate 4 people at once for similar services. It was also very clear the technicians were disagreeing over who was going to perform the scheduled services. We learned through conversation with the technician that finally did come over that she was the owners' daughter, she was very clear she couldn't wait until 4:00 pm when the salon closed. She communicated it was hard to find help that wanted to work! She also advised that one of the technicians was an hour late to work. During the course of the pedicure, an older man walked through the salon the owner's daughter said " There's the big boss now" he looked at each person, he never once spoke to a single customer, he made some quiet comment to his daughter while she was doing one of our pedicures. I find it so strange that an owner of a business did not at least say hello to the people that are supporting his small town salon. 3 pedicures were performed by 2 people, the pedicures toke 2 hours !!! Absolutely ridiculous!!!!My niece waited an hour before they started her acrylic nails, again ridiculous!!! The pedicure experience was so horrible we decided to not have the manicures. Upon paying for our service it was communicated to the owners' daughter that it would have been nice if she had called us to tell us they were running an hour behind, she acted like it was no big deal. There was no apology, it was as if our time was not important. Everyone was very unprofessionally dressed all appeared as if they just rolled out bed, The atmosphere is terrible. Everyone seems to have an attitude with you, and even to their fellow coworkers. This is not a place you can relax in while spending a good amount of your hard earned money! read more
