The service was good when I dropped by, but the downside is that there's only one ATM at the entrance of the bank. Hm... why only one? Is there a drive through? That's what I couldnt really understand. Aside from that, the AC in here is awesome. And there's a baskin robins/ dunkin donuts next door. Stop by!

I believed their customer service promises and believed they stood behind their words. However, when I needed Chase to honor their philosophy they sadly disappointed. Of most concern is that a Chase to Chase transfer of money from buyer of vehicle to seller of vehicle done directly was approved and unbelievably one week later I was notified the " funds were rejected" By the time this happened Chase Auto had released the car Title , signed and sent a lien release, zeroed out the loan balance AND send a letter from Chase bank AND Chase auto thanking me for my business and inviting me to use Chase in the future. As the buyer of the car drove across country with their new car and title I was informed that the loan was not satisfied and I was again liable for the full amount Believing in my heart that Chase had made a horrible mistake and would admit to their error and make me whole , INSTEAD I was told repeatedly that the car title was released in " Good Faith" incidentally this good faith excuse was used by multiple Chase representatives !!! Chase continued to insist it was my problem and until this day I have not received a satisfactory resolution. Even when my complaint reached the supervisory level - they remained insistent that car titles are released " in good faith that the payment will come through". Whoever heard of a car title being released by a bank holding a loan on good faith??? The answer is NEVER. My Chase days are now over and I fully intend to continue to tell everyone I can that they should not trust Chase Auto. Mistakes happen - that is forgivable - however the lack of concern or ability to right this wrong shocks me Stay away from Chase Auto - sadly that's the best advice and best review I can give. Attempts to enlist the help of my branch manager were largely ignored as well . The Assistant Branch Manager tried to help me but was equally powerless - so I should definitely point out that she tried to rectify the situation but was unable to help .

Yesterday I took out 2 x $100 from the ITM and asked the clerk to please change one of the $100 bills into $50 x 2.... He requested my ID card and asked to enter it into the reader. For what? I was just asking him to break a $100 bill in two! Maybe he would see it different if he knew I have $10M + in another WF account. Anyway, Greenwich Bank & Trust, Chase never asked for this at the counter service, so easy come, easy goes...$$$$$ Looking forward to a M D (Mc Donald's) there instead of a gost bank in charge of my seemingly non important accounts.... I went into the Branch this morning to have 45 minutes of my time waisted. I have several accounts…read moreat this branch. I went into the branch this morning at 10:00 to open an account "QIT" a qualified income trust account. I entered to the counter and asked to open a QIT account . The teller looked confused no stated she would check with one of her bankers. After 10 minutes i was approached by an older woman. Again i explained my reason for being there. She seemed just as confused. Then asked if "I had an appointment". After i replied Nom she indicated she would check for an associate but tht i may need to make an appointment. A gentleman then came out and yet again i was asked how they can help me. AGAIN, I specified i needed this certain account. I was then asked to the office and the gentleman proceeded to basically try to figure out what this was. I reiterated it was a trust account. He asked for several pieces of information that was clearly within the document i had handed to him. Lack of Knowledge, lack of appropriate customer service help, and lack of social knowledge as to how to speak to people as well as help in such a situation. Very Sad. I am horrified by the lack of knowledge by the staff.

If it wasn't for my deep personal relationship with Wells, I would be a Chase checking customer-they would be my bank. I really like this branch. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Chase is more aggressive than Wells in multiple ways including, but not limited to, business lines of credit and dealing with my more difficult transactions. The people running Chase and this branch definitely GET IT! And like Wells, they are always willing to sit down and talk with their customers regardless if it leads to new business. Parking is behind the bank and to the best of my knowledge, is public pay parking (but I can't swear to this). All in All, if you have made Chase your primary bank, you made a great choice. Kudos.

I wish I could give The First Bank of Greenwich zero stars. Here's my experience:…read more I was originally planning to borrow $100K from Wells Fargo. The loan officer there, who was leaving to work at The First Bank of Greenwich, convinced me to apply with them instead. He promised to personally introduce me to the bank manager and a VP, which he did. At The First Bank of Greenwich, the VP required me to deposit $100K into an account in order to receive a $100K "secured" loan. Both the VP and the manager assured me that, within two weeks, this would be converted into a standard loan. That turned out to be a complete lie. Instead, they held onto my $100K for two months, during which I had no access to it, and ultimately informed me that they would not be approving any loan. When I decided to walk away and asked for my money back (I returned their $100K check, which I had never deposited elsewhere), they had the audacity to charge me $500 just to withdraw my own funds. In other words: they took $100K of my money, used it for two months, refused me the loan they promised, and then charged me $500 on the way out. I do not trust this bank and will never do business with them again.

After several decades of business banking - and at several banks - the First Bank of Greenwich has, again and again, gone out of their way to help in all ways big and small, that I've not seen elsewhere. In an era where decent customer service is constantly diminishing, this bank brings a refreshing and helpful level of focus and attention that's unfortunately hard to find elsewhere. And as a small business, with little to offer in terms of fat bank accounts, I still seem to get attention and service at the 10/10 level.
