Manager is very rude and not helpful at all. She recommended me to go and gather certain legal documents and then when I did, she said to call the 1-800 number to customer service?! I did so in the bank and said that now the bank manager could help me. The bank manager was so angry because she actually had to do "work"! WORST BRANCH! Amanda Rice opened am account for me with a promotional 4.5% interest for 3 months locked period. I never received any interest and kept over 100K. Max 12K interest was promised. I keep calling the branch and no one picks the calls. I went there personally and they told me I need an appointment. How do I get appointment with out them replying back to my voicemails. When you go there ask why don't you pick calls or callback, they reply oh we are very busy. I haven't seen more than 2 customers so many times I have been there. The branch people are rude, clueless, poor in math, I don't know why are they even there. Amanda Rice is the worst personal banker I have come across. I have been doing business with Citi in other branches and cities and used to enjoyed their services. Unfortunately, my recent experiences span over multiple months with Citi's Morgan Hill branch has eroded my trust in Citi. I agree with some of the previous reviews about the current branch manager - rude, must be a know-it-all, and bias toward certain type of customers. Manager and some staff certainly are not align with Citi's value and way of treating customers. They are non genuine. There is always a long line there and they have only 1 to 2 tellers. The staff there cannot handle crowd and not efficient. I would not invest my money and trust in this bank. We all want great banking experiences and there are many other choices out there. read more

I went during my lunch hour today to make a simple deposit. Only one teller was open at 1:00 PM. I walked in and looked for a rope or sign to indicate where the line started. No rope nor sign. So I stood where the start sign was on my last visit to this bank. The manager was there but did not offer to help any customers. Just talked about high school classmates. I even learned she graduated in 1984! Wow! Now that's great. As I stood there for 15 minutes 5 other people had come in the bank. The manager informed me I was standing in the wrong location. She pointed to where the line started. No apology for the wait. No apology for not opening another teller location to start helping customers. She mumbled something about not knowing who was next. I told her I walked in first. There was a lady sitting waiting for the person the teller had been helping. She said that I was next. I thanked her. The teller who had been helping her friend called for the next customer. I walked up and made my deposit after waiting 18 minutes. Terrible customer service and management. Be aware of Citibank promotions. Received their promotion letter almost a year ago. As the offer letter indicates must open a checking account with deposit of $50k for 3 months to receive the promotional offer of $700, I took that promotion letter to Morgan Hill, CA branch to open and fund the account in October, 2020. At that time, I specifically told the banker that I wanted to deposit the money for the promotion cash offer. The banker in Morgan Hill branch helped me opened the account and deposit the $50k, and assured me that this would qualify me for the promotion. 6 months later, I went to the same branch to inquire about the promotion reward. I was told by the banker that I didn't qualify for the promotion because I hadn't opened a savings account in addition to the checking account. This was never part of the promotional offer, never mentioned by the depositing banker. I called the Citibank customer service. They did some investigation and sent me a letter saying that since the promotion letter was addressed to my husband, so I was not qualified. But I am the primary Citibank credit card holder which indicated in their letter to qualify for the promotion. The banker who helped me opened the account received my email saying that she would investigate herself, but no more reply from her for 2 months. I should not have been initially informed that the promotion would be valid, then later be informed of one reason for denial by a banker, only to be given yet another reason for denial by their Client Care department. When I took the promotion letter to their branch to fund the account, I was led to believe I fully qualified for the promotional offer. Instead, I am being notified that I had never qualified, over half a year later. Their banker was either trained poorly, or intentionally cheating their customers, and by all means this is the bank's mistake. So here we are again. Last night I made a deposit of cash about 1400. There new ATM machine was taking like 8 min to count the cash, the reboots in the middle of the transaction with no receipt and prompts a message "machine is out of service". Today I go into the bank to check in if they documented my deposit. They said they have no account of the deposit and I need to call the number on my bank card to file a disput. Unbelievable! They have 3 or 4 people in there and the Manager and they say I have call and deal with the issue. Citibank sucks. read more

I'm soo happy with this bank. I have a credit card from here. I found out that each time i go to the Morgan Hill branch I always have a quick and easy visit, every time. I simply called to see if I qualified for a credit card. The woman on the phone was extremely polite and patient with me. Therfore I was able to go through an easy and quick process. I ended up qualifying. Woo hoo! Right over the phone i was able to set up an account with a password and all. It's soo hard to find good over the phone service these days. Every month I pay only $25 and had a really large qualification amount. I love that the bank doesn't have to be open for me to pay my bill! Say whhhaaaat!?? And they have a earn cash back system. I recieve a $25 gift card just by paying my bill and making purchases. You have to earn points which is actually easy and very fast. Since just using your card to shop or put gas and pay bills earns you points! :-) My husband and I are definitely happy campers. Or should I say "happy shoppers" Lol read more

If you're thinking about opening an account here, I highly suggest you don't. There's not much fault within just this branch It's the company as a whole. There are so many things that your average bank offers you that for whatever reason this bank does not one of those includes being open on a Saturday, which is just ridiculous. I went in because I just opened a bank account for my business and realized they won't even print checks for you. You have to order them and then they mail them and you don't even get them for two weeks. So I then had to transfer all of my money out of this account which was the whole thing in itself because they give you a $500 daily limit just to sell your own personal bank account. You also have no way of transferring your savings into your checking on the app just a lot of running around and inconveniences that you can find more convenience elsewhere. I also have to say, considering I made the comment at the bank teller that I wasn't too sure about my account with them as it seems they don't offer the things that I need as well as a personal banker sitting at her desk was within earshot even remotely tried to convince me otherwise. This is a fantastic branch. Staff is well trained, facilities clean, and there's rarely a wait for service. Branch managers are always happy and friendly to sit down with you to give you additional information WITHOUT pushing or sell you any services. LOVE THAT! Be aware, this branch is NOT service oriented. I went to this bank simply to change a $20 bill for some ones. Tip currency since I was about to go on travel. Most banks don't have a problem with this if it's under $100, regardless if you have an account there or not. Not Citibank. Not this branch. Not CAROL behind the counter. WORST BANK, EVER!!!!! Every time i try to log in online, I have to change my password. EVERY TIME!!!! This has been going on for months. I tried a chat session but got NO HELP, just a bunch of platitudes. Today, the online account REFUSED my password change so I can't access my credit card to pay it. And there are no branches in Tucson, where I live now. I can't even change my preferences to mail me paper so I can pay with a check. By far the worst branch I've ever been to. While every branch I've been to is able to help, granted sometimes it takes waiting 30minutes, this branch refused. When I asked why, where does it say that in the policy, the managers response was "we don't have to provide that to you, we just don't do it". Really?? I've never met or been through a manager training class that says that type of response is acceptable! She never could give a reason why even though every other branch does it!
