Needed to deposit a $ 100,000 check at noon today. Two men in suits..maybe a manager told us to come back in 35 minutes because the bank teller was a lunch. Store Review: Ugh long lines and difficult location to get into. This is the closest location for citibank when I am out in the suburbs and I can honestly say that I do not look forward to going to this location. First of all, the bank is situated right at the feeder enterance to walmart so there is heavy traffic. It is difficult getting out of this location due to the flow of traffic. Also when you are in the bank, there is long long long lines. They try to circumvent this by having you hand off your bill payment to the front desk. This is my 2nd time actually coming to the branch to grab money from my account. Today was payday for me at one of my 2 jobs. Because I lost my debit card I had to go inside the branch to a teller. I showed my DL and they asked me a few questions. She asked me for my mothers maiden name I told the illiterate teller she claimed that's not what they have on file. Ask I told her that's my mother if you have anything other than what I'm telling you than it's something wrong with your system. She tells me that I would need to talk with manager an order to get my money from my account. At this point I'm livid and would like to talk to a manager so that I can close my account out as I dont even wanna do business with these bank foreigners.... they need to just close the entire bank up bc it's always an issue with these people.. read more

This Citibank in Streamwood has a great manager there and a banker even now in this difficult time of the coronavirus. They were very welcoming when I went there to open a new account and knowledgeable about everything in their profession. I highly recommend this location. read more

WTF is wrong with these people? My father went to this location in Streamwood yesterday to make a withdrawal. After waiting an hour, they told him he could not make a withdrawal (why the F not?) and told him he had to take a cash advance out on his credit card, at a charge. I saw online that yesterday also he had a password change on his account, and he does not have any idea how that happened. Now I have to spend a day or two next week trying to sort out what happened and fix it. read more

Try calling the branch. It is impossible. They have an old Cisco system that requests the extension of the person you want to talk to. If you don't know their extension, they will transfer you to some place in India. The agent in India tell you to call the branch, that can take days. Horrible system. Pitiful. It is the most frustrating thing. I can't wait to switch banks. Don't open an account at Citibank, you will regret. You deposit a $500 local check and they put a hold of 1 week on the check.
