This place gets an A+ from me. My Samsonite suitcase wheel cracked. I decided to go to Samsonite to see if it would be covered under warranty. They sent the suitcase to Cities Leather and Luggage for repair. Two weeks later, the luggage was shipped to my doorstep. When I opened the package, not only was the wheel fixed, but they included a nice note stating it was not covered under warranty but they did a courtesy repair. How great is that! Other companies should take note of this wonderful customer service. If I didn't live so far, I would definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you again - you are a class act business! Great little repair shop! The airlines' sorting machinery destroyed my zippers on my suitcase. My airline recommended I go here to get replacements -- and they were right. This is a great little shop to get your luggage fixed. They also fixed the zipper on a purse. Nice guys and good service. read more

I cannot tell you how happy I am with this business! I don't normally write reviews but I felt I had to because I got more than I had expected. My Samsonite rolling laptop bag is a good 8+ years old. Finally, a chunk of one of the wheel's "tires" crumbled off (they're like roller blade wheels) and I tried unsuccessfully to find the part on-line to fix myself. I would have just bought another bag, but none had the four wheels and compartments like this one, and quite frankly were very pricey. I went to a Samsonite outlet store and brought it in to send out for repair. The salesperson pretty much told me "It's out of warranty, you should just buy another one, it's going to cost just as much to fix it, they'll throw it out if it can't be fixed, etc., etc." To my surprise and delight, only ONE WEEK later, there was a big Samsonite box on my front porch with my repaired bag and a handwritten note that said, "out of warranty, last time repair at no charge". I spoke to "Jim" at their 800 number and he could not have been nicer as well. I HIGHLY recommend this facility. I only wish they were closer so I could have dropped it off myself and met these wonderful people!!! read more
