I appreciate the community experience of a small credit union, but it can be a bit difficult because there are only two branches. I've never really had a problem here and they're very accommodating. A great choice for a first bank experience! I've also just learned that they have something called shared banking with other credit unions that you can do business with them and still have your account but at have to look into it further on their website. I also love their feature of online banking through their app. Very user friendly.

I asked the bank to vaive these fees due to the circumstances but they refused. I also have accounts at Bank of America and had similar issues however their branch manager was very understanding and vaived all fees. If changing everything over again wasn't such a hassle I would move on from Northwest. I still may. This is a terrible bank. All about the $$$ and not so much about the customer.

They have convenient weekday hours, a drive-up teller, a 24 hour ATM, and a drop box. In addition, the BFCU supports local causes, has a yearly driveway sale for venders and the public, and collects items for the homeless at certain times of the year. They also sell movie tickets at a discounted rate. There are opportunities to serve on the board and join in yearly parties and meetings. They are everything a local bank should be!
