No charges unless my savings dips below 300 bucks. Best part of KeyBank are the tellers and managers. Big shout out to Frank Pieri, Lauren Zima, Andrew, Susanna, Judy, and Lisa. They always remember me and greet me like family. Only bummer about Keybank is that sometimes the ATMs are glitchy and don't accept my checks. I've found out the way to beat this is by ending the transaction and doing it a few more times. Usually that works. All in all, love love love my bank.

I come here once a year to deposit my kids bday checks and it's an ordeal every time. Last time I was here they stated my kids need to sign the checks to be deposited and I couldn't. (never have in 14 years) . When questioned on what would happen if I had a newborn baby with checks , the employee with a straight face stated, "the baby would have to squiggle their signature". After a quick laugh I completed my business. Once my CDs mature here will be going across the street to Northwest, where they are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. STAY AWAY from here.

We have had kind of difficult accounts in the past because my husband worked overseas for a while, but she helped me link up what needed to be linked, helped me get the right account for our needs, and was a champ when it came to having to do a notary signature for the same documents more than once because of an error on my part. After Northwest took over for First Niagara, this branch was so helpful during that rough two-day transition. My husband dealt with a girl (Christa/Krista) who also turned out to be a lifesaver for us. I feel like she went above and beyond on more than one occasion to save us money & help us figure out an error on our account. I truly appreciate that every so often I'll get a call from the security department to go through recent transactions, just to make sure things are the way they should be. Northwest offers online banking, deposits through their app, Apple Pay, and all the other great technological advances in banking. This bank is a prize in our community, and this branch specifically is worth bragging about. If you need a bank, I highly recommend Northwest.

Now, if you knew my mom, you'd know her powers of observation are... aspirational at best. She could see a barber pole and tell you it looks like someone she knows. So I filed this information away with a healthy dose of skepticism. Fast forward to modern times, where I now help manage a lot of her banking and have been coming into Summit regularly for about five years. I've met the supposed "look-alike" several times. Spoiler alert: she does not look like me. She's younger, taller, brunette, and shares exactly zero identifiable features with me. (My mom still insists. Recently she even tried to justify it by saying, "Well, she's lost some weight." I stared at her in silence until she realized what she'd just said and started laughing. So... there's that.) All that aside--this place is exceptional. Because of how warm, friendly, and genuinely "down-home" Summit feels, I eventually opened my own account here too, even though it's no longer convenient to our current location. And I will never close it. They know my mom the moment she walks in. When she fumbles for her ID, they let it slide because they truly know her. They ask how she's doing, remember details about her life, and treat her with patience, kindness, and respect. When I was buying a house, they gathered around to look at pictures, oohing and aahhhing in all the right places like proud friends--not just tellers behind a counter. This is one of those rare places where you feel seen and remembered. You matter here. And as a bonus? My alleged "look-alike" is also an avid reader, so we often end up chatting about books while I'm there--which somehow feels exactly right for a place like this. Exceptional service. They're totally on the level and won't nickel and dime you. They'll provide you with most of the services at a fraction of the cost, and will deal with you personally and respectfully and as if you are family, if anything goes wrong. Some of their advice in terms of foreign travel wasn't so great, but they still get a glowing 4 stars, which, if you know me - is insanely high for me to give to a financial institution.
