She reluctantly agreed to ambulance and doctor check..after fainting while trying to stand. So here we are. Great staff and Ms Doctor doing their thing. Glad they were not busy today. So Beth getting lots of attention to her sore spots and all areas of concern. She is able to tell everyone where and what hurts. Wonderful staff group, ambulance people also, making this as pleasant as possible.

This is a mixed review. Dr. Rains has always treated me competently but not so sure about her NP…read moreKyle. I had surgery and went to him to have stitches removed. He told me to keep the bottom of my incision covered because it was "a little soupy". Fast forward 12 hours, I am in the hospital with a 103 degree temperature. Taken by ambulance to Denver where most of the hardware put in my back is taken out and I spend a week in the hospital with a PICC line for antibiotics and a wound vac that I will wear for at least 3 months so my incision can heal by what's called secondary intent Would the outcome been different if he had diagnosed my infection earlier? I don't know but I do know my surgeon asked me who removed my stitches. When I told him the "little soupy" remark he gave me a look and a shake of the head. Upshot. I'll probably change medical providers because she's too busy to get into for weeks and I no longer trust her NP

The Doctors are very slow at doing anything that they have to call or send out any referrals. I…read morehave to call and remind them all the time because I waited a few weeks thinking that I should have been contacted by now, but no I have to call over and over to get it done. Even up to 2 months still haven't heard from the referrals , so again I have to call them to see if anyone can do that.

Rita Jones (Administrator) doesn't take into consideration the hardships that her employees may be facing in life. They create drama where there is none, usually by accusing employees of things that are untrue. Many employees have left due to these allegations. These are good employees who work hard. Nurses, Doctors, Receptionists, Technicians. All departments have had someone who either finally got sick of her and left or were terminated because they didn't want to make waves and speak up. Well, I'm speaking up, because I poured my heart and soul into this hospital and cared very much for the users that I helped each day. Hours after closing to ensure a printer gets installed when it's convenient for nursing. Taking three weeks of night shifts to do physical cleanings on every computer in the building. Using my own personal hardware to provide zero cost solutions during emergencies. The list goes on. I wrote code to automate tasks that users didn't want to do themselves each day or week. It's sad that so many seemed to enjoy my assistance, yet management couldn't seem to see that. Thank you very much. This rant/review is over. I wish the wonderful employees of Dundy County Hospital the best.
