I'm somewhat selective of what I purchase here as many of the strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and other exotic fruit don't last as long and are not as fresh. Also looking at their peppers (both green and red). They are not as cosmetically nice but this does not concern me as when you chop them up they taste the same! What's great about this place: - pricing of limes and lemons is rock bottom! -pricing of peppers (green and red) are the cheapest you can find. - selection of apples and oranges are okay but you need to test for freshness. - very good place to come for your other staples (broccoli, salad, onions, potatoes). Freshness is relatively the same as chain stores but cheaper. Overall you need to watch for freshness carefully. The good thing is it's popular and they go through volume! Mostly cheaper than the chains and selection and service is always courteous and friendly! Selection of some hard to find items such as oyster mushrooms, fresh herbs and different hot peppers plus some selection of fruit is quite good!

In the summer months they offer a farmers market. It's closed however in the Winter. Today I came here to pick strawberries with my daughter. It is an awesome mid June activity. Especially having the day off for St Jean. For $8 you get a great 3L paper basket and fill it till she's overflowing with some of the freshest and tastiest strawberries around. I didn't ask what pesticide they use here but I really wanted to. Makes me think.....I always wonder how much pesticide they use. They definitely need some but. I wonder how bad it will be for my health? The same basket you can buy a basket of already picked for $9 by the cash register. I bought the same sized basket for $12 last weekend at Marche Jean Talon. The taste of the strawberries was amazing. For me this is one of the many wonderful flavours of summer! Walking down to the strawberry patch today they did have a bunch of greenhouses chock full of tomatoes. In the late summer their fields are brimming with fresh corn also. Fresh fruit and vegetables at their roadside market store is a great inexpensive alternative to the grocery store. They also have some selection of fresh dessert pies and relishes and other canned delights. Parking is limited and it fills up fast. I'd recommend coming earlier in the day. After 11 AM the lot is full and much busier. There is a small playground area for kids and picnic benches if you want to bring a lunch and make a great family activity out of it. A terrific outdoor activity for a few hours and place to stop in and get a taste of summer!

Everyone was very safe wearing their masks which I appreciated. The chocolate is completely irresistible. Absolutely purchase and sample at least one or two before putting together a fabulous box to gift and to take home. There are also all sorts of bars and shapes - try the caramel! Prices are quite reasonable, and the quality is phenomenal. They also serve a café menu, and while I did not have time on this occasion to sample their food menu, there was a couple who appeared very happy with their lunch of crepes. The two restrooms in the back are available to customers. It's inside straight back to the right. Highly recommend! And there is a fun mural out front to take your photo in front of! We have purchased cakes for special occasions here and they are wonderfully delicious and artistic! Another curious delight is their pizza bread. This is a Quebec specialty and theirs has a tad more garlic flavour but is richer in flavour than some other places. Everything I've had here is tasty. Really fresh and delish. I definitely will come back to test a sandwich. Good sandwich shops are hard to come by in Terrebonne- Mascouche so I'm looking forward to testing it out. The owners are a couple French Canadian-Italian and you can definitely see the pride they take in preparing high quality food.
