That's why I get so bloated! stupid carbs! I love Naturopathic Doctors they actually take the time to find the problem and don't just shove meds at you. Full disclosure I came for 3 or so appointments. My physiotherapist came to a similar conclusion about my injury as my family doctor had, which was a positive first sign. From there, I felt like I barely saw my physiotherapist and when I did, she seemed rushed. A half hour appointment would consist of having ultrasound and TENS machines used on my knee (TENS machine is you lying alone in a room with the TENS machine for 15 minutes), so I'd have human contact for literally 5 minutes out of the half hour I was there. It just didn't seem worth the money and most importantly, the time spent. Any physiotherapist can give you exercises to do, but it takes the right one to truly be invested in your care, spend the time with you and ensure you're making progress week after week. All in all I felt like this clinic relied way too much on the use of ultrasound and TENS machines (at least for my particular injury), and the lack of person-to-person care made me take my bum knee elsewhere.

You can choose from a range of days and times for all the available RMTs. You get an immediate e-mail confirmation, and another e-mail reminder the day before your appointment. The front entrance is a bit small and not too fancy, but you are always greeted nicely, and offered a choice of the day's hot and cold fresh tea offerings. You can change into slippers if you wish, and sip your tea if you have a few minutes before your appointment. Those are just the extras, and the best part is definitely the massage. Staff are so professional, very soothing, and you feel like you're in the hands (literally) of a capable healer. That might sound a bit odd but it is truly how you feel while you're there. I never feel rushed, and I am always asked each time about specific issues or trouble spots, or things to avoid. They offer water and tea when you first walk in or after your treatment, and take the time to hear your concerns so they can plan an effective massage for you. They sell interesting products from pain reliever ointments to teas and candles. The online booking system is efficient so you can pick who you want to see and when instead of playing phone tag. Their prices are just above the average rmt prices but you are getting highly knowledgeable and skilled RMTs unlike a spa/groupon where you leave irritated that your upper traps are still in need of attention. I had consulted a few doctors before going there to be properly assessed for hip issues. The doctor was extremely competent, referred me to an excellent physiotherapist, Amy Dinaut. Her care, her professionalism and polite manners are exemplary. I am grateful to be treated by her as she correctly assessed my new injury and gave me the appropriate treatment and exercise programme which I do follow. As far as the receptionists are concerned, they have always been most helpful even when they were very busy, particularly at the beginning of the term in September.

Before anything, let me be fully clear, Doctors/ Physicians in the clinic are amazing, I am with my family doctor from a long time, however the admin team has been a nightmare. I underwent surgery in March 2026, which lead me to be bed ridden for recovery till May 2026. I lost my job, my OSAP went into overpayment, I am under extreme financial hardship and I was attacked racially on the streets of Toronto. I was recovering, hence could not make it to the appointments, when asked about it, I was told about "policies" and "fees" I must pay before I see my doctor. I gently asked to waive it OR allow me to delay the payment till I am capable of giving it / do it in instalments. It was relayed to my doctor as I am asking to waive fees and I was informed it cannot be done. The email had issues lines up, I was looking to get my doc to fill in some forms, insurance/ hardship related, I was told how much that would "COST". I had to leave it on the side. I received an email saying I am no more on ROSTER because I missed appointments! I was genuinely taken aback. My psychiatrist had stopped the practice, so my files was being transferred to family doctor. Admin team at UHN did it, honestly, multiple times. It never reached my doctor. During my current hard time, facing depression, anxiety, adhd and an attack because I am a different race, with no money, poor credit fighting to get a job, I started overcoming my issues. I asked again for an appointment, because UHN confirmed that I was still with this clinic, they replied with "policy rules", "admin fees"! I have an entire email chain! The admin from UHN helped me with getting the records, and I PERSONALLY SENT THEM! My doctor understandably could not read everything because there were more than 200 visits to be read! So from whatever time I was a patient of this clinic, UHN did send the records, and they NEVER reached my doctor, until I had to find a way to provide it to them! Finally after asking for an appointment I finally got one last week, I finally saw my doctor and we had a plan, from the conversation I noticed he was relayed with selective information, and when he said he supports the admin team, I reassured him I understand policies and why you are supporting them, however, my MAIN CONCERNS have not reached you! Me and my doctor had a plan, I requested for one of my forms to be signed on Friday, according to clinic "policy" I was late with the email so they were going to answer me next business day. Monday has passed by, Tuesday is almost coming to an end, and I am ghosted yet again! It is extremely hard not to take this personally, I have been clarifying asking giving feedbacks in a real positive light whenever possible. BUT THE ADMIN TEAM HAS ABSOLUTELY NO EMPATHY! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE DURING MY OWN ROCK BOTTOM! I have a steady rapport with my doctor, so I cannot even go anywhere else, but to get to him, THIS HUGE HURDLE is just an impossible task! And get it right, they are VERY RUDE with their responses too! I am extremely disappointed! Isnt this the care team I can rely on when I need support? Apparently not! Very very displeased with the EXPERIENCE!!!!! I wish I could give NO star or a half STAR, and again, THE DOCTORS ARE GENUINELY GREAT! Also, I myself am an internationally trained DENTIST with 5 years of experience, now pursuing healthcare research!
