While waiting, there was great banter and conversation going on with everyone, and it felt more like a family get together than waiting for a haircut. I gave the barber discretion and asked him to cut it any way he liked. My uncle owned a shop for more than 50 years and when he was allowed to be creative with a customer it was usually his best work. It all grows back and I am up for creativity. I have very thick asian hair and with the style I have/want it needs to be cut in a specific way- I asked for an area to not be touched at all to let it grow out and eventually go over the parts I asked to be shaved so it'll be thin to touch! but no!! dude went to shape my hair how he thought was best and to his style but that was literally the exact opposite of what I asked for!! albeit the fade he gave me is good but it doesn't excuse that I now have to wait even longer for the top layer to grow out so I can get someone who understands what I want to buzz the bottom layer. Not Returning. Edit: Nahhh I straight up told you not to touch the top of my hair. You're lying through your teeth when you say you did exactly what I asked for. You completely disregarded what I said, and cut hair from the top without even telling me because you just do whatever you want to do. Obviously you don't understand how thick asian hair grows out and you don't listen to the people that come into your shop or take the time to explain what you're going to do.
