I was stranded in Ladd last night after being assured that Twin City Taxi was recommended by my hotel in Peru. After figuring out that Twin City wasn't even operational, we called City Cab who said they were open 24/7. LIES!! When I called to confirm a pick up, he said that they had to bring people to work and could not come at 8 9 or 10 or anytime after that. We had depended on his earlier promise. Unprofessional at the best. Called 2 hours ahead of time to schedule they agreed on that timing. Called 45 mins ahead of time still said they could make it. 5 mins past the time scheduled called no answer for the longest. Called from a different number got an answer said they were going to call and find out estimated time and call me back. Nope never got a call back called again from the second number I used, no answer. So downloaded text app with a new number, low and behold got an answer, said listen if the driver can't pick me up, let me know, please. Is always late never on time. If you can at all costs avoid them they are late all the time and no one cares including the owner.

They are horrible. I get off work super late. I'm a regular hoping to not be soon. I called in plenty of time. A lot of the times they moved my ride and when they say they will be there they are not. read more

A buddy of mine and I needed a ride from the La Quinta to the airport at short notice, early in the morning. We called a few taxi services who were just plain rude and unfriendly, but this guy was courteous, efficient, prompt and affordable. I'd recommend him to anyone. read more

My 16 yr old son was working while we had a family event out of town. So I told him to call this company since I knew one of the drivers through my work. He called and received the ride from Peru (west side) to Ladd (7.2 miles) and was charged $22!!! This is unbelievable. I really though $5. Maybe $10. I thankfully gave him a $20 thinking he'd be able to order dinner when he got home. I will not recommend this place. I'm sure they were courteous enough. But at $22, I could have come home from Elmhurst to grab him and taken him back up! Unacceptable. read more

Bill is amazing! We lost our car keys at a bar and had to call a cab to get back to our hotel. We mentioned to Bill we lost them and after dropping us off, he went back to the bar we were at on his own to look for the keys and ended up finding them! He brought them to us and drove us back to where the car was parked. He is a life-saver!! read more

I needed the cab service for a short time. Dave, the manager was all to happy n we made arrangements for me to prepay, NEVER EVER TRUST HIM!!!! I prepared for the week, but ended up not using one pick up. I watched Ken, the driver that night, write it down that I in fact prepay for 3 nights, however I only needed service for 2 nights n my situation changed n I didn't need their services anymore. I called Dave to get a refund of the one night I didn't use. He got all pissy with me n told me to call him a different day .. so he basically blew me off. He said to call home on Saturday n he would meet up with me, but he lied to me n needless to say he didn't meet up with me. I called the owner to get this settled n he won't return my calls.
