I have rarely ever experienced a place where I can always go for one of the two pretty "cheap" house wines and I'm never disappointed. I ordered the tagliatelle with salmon but as I was reading the menu, I noticed that they have something called strozzapeti which I've never heard of before. It's basically some kind of hand-rolled pasta so I decided to sub out my strozzapeti for that. It was pretty solid. There actually were pieces of salmon in creamy white wine sauce which was really good. The menu itself was quite extensive--really had a lot of everything and I would say it was very authentic Italian--though at a high cost. For my pasta dish, they have a normal and small portion, and my small portion was 167kc. But since this was my second lunch of sorts that day, I felt pretty full after my dish. My final total came out to be 238 kc which is not great but not terrible either. The food is very authentic Italian though which was really nice, so I can't complain. Definitely a place I would come back to if I were in the area. tldr; good authentic Italian food at a slightly higher price!

And that's what Jeff did, he took his BBQ with him from back home, set up shop in Prague, and has been successful ever since with locals, and of course, expats. The chef, Jeff, actually is from Texas and used to be a chef at Prague Beer Museum, where he helped introduce classic American fare, such as corndogs, on their menu. I had my best ribs in Prague here, and some great sides including truffle mac n' cheese, jalapeno cheese corn bread, baked beans and cole slaw. I was pleased with the overall experience. Comforting interior, great selection of food (true to an American BBQ menu), AWESOME service, and the prices (albeit "expat prices") were good for what you got in return.
