I would NOT recommend this company at all. They were over a hour late picking us up. Then there was…read moreno heat on the bus and it was 25 degrees outside. We could see our breath it was so cold. The Wi-Fi also did not work and half of the charging ports. The bus did not look like any of the buses in pics we saw and looked like it was from the 80's. We were then left at a QT station for almost 2 hours while they had to go do a driver swap that was not clearly communicated with us about. Then we were once again left at a Chick-fil-A for a hour while they had to deliver a part somewhere. We arrived at our destination 4 hours later than we were supposed too due to them doing things that was not on OUR schedule and not taking our time into consideration. Then on the way home at about 2 am, we again had to stop at their yard for a driver swap and was there for almost a hour because the owner decided he needed one of our particular buses for another job. Therefore, that bus had to clear the bus and unload all their luggage and instruments and load it all on another bus. I definitely did not feel like a valued customer on this trip by this company.

Gia is an amazing craftsman!…read more I inherited a silver-plated tea set that was almost impossible to restore but Gia managed to bring it back to life again. These pieces had been in my family for over a hundred years. They had been thrown in a dump after my great-grandmother passed away. My father pulled it out but several of the pieces were already dented and broken. He kept it in the attic for over 50 years and they went untouched. They even survived a major house fire with extensive smoke damage. When I inherited it, I wanted to try to restore it but had serious doubts if it could be done. The pieces were pitted, dented, had holes and were missing pieces. Gia took on the challenge and brought these pieces back to life. He even was able to tell how each piece was used and provided a possible date for the set. It's obvious that he cares about his craft. We highly recommend Estes-Simmons Silversmiths.

I was there at 4:30am the very FIRST parent to get a spot..... or so I thought. Now on June 10th I'm informed that my son is #6 on the waitlist. Mind you I only know this from randomly inquiring on when I would receive more information on school starting. The lady that answered advised I was misinformed and that it's a lottery program. Thats funny because when I reached out to Henry county they are the ones that advised me to try the daycare to get a secured spot when my son didn't receive a spot at my zoned elementary school. I even offered to switch my son's daycare to theirs to ensure he would have a PreK spot. I was told they didn't have any available 4 year old spots. She said their students moving up would receive a spot first and that they had 4 remaining spots which is why I camped outside with my then 5 month old twins trying to get my 4 year old a spot. Funny thing.. no one called to tell me I was on a waitlist after I completed all paperwork. So I called one of their other centers and asked how the GA pre K went and was advised it was NOT like the public school system lottery its first come first served and they had no spots. This is so unprofessional as it seems like my son was bumped to accommodate others they wanted to receive a spot. I was told the day I went that I had secured the first spot only to be told months later "oh you were misinformed ". Now that school starts in two months ALL the pre K spots are full. This infuriates me as I just wanted my son in a school environment instead of a daycare setting. It's clear the ones that wanted to receive spots got one..... so unprofessional. However, I take this as a sign that the professionalism would have been an issue later down the line. This says a lot to me. Very Very Very disappointed.

I was told they do not allow walk-in tours and that I would need to come back the very next day for a scheduled tour. Considering this daycare is a 45-minute drive from where I live, I rearranged my schedule and made the trip back the following day. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled tour time, only to be greeted by front desk staff who were rude, arrogant, and acted as if I was bothering them from the moment I walked through the door. What made the experience even more frustrating was that they then informed me there were no available spots for one of my children -- despite us discussing my children and their ages the day before. This information should have been communicated before having me drive all the way back out there. It completely wasted my time and showed a major lack of professionalism and organization. As a parent, customer service and kindness matter, especially when trusting people with your children. Unfortunately, the staff made me feel unwelcome and disrespected rather than valued as a prospective parent looking for childcare. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this daycare.

Although the people were nice, the facility was not. We had movers to wrap our things and store them at General Storage. This was early March. We returned to retrieve our things by the end of April. When we arrived at the storage unit, we were met with a HUGE, DEAD RAT. This rodent also dropped feces all over our belongings. There was no food or anything edible in our unit. This was a Saturday morning around 7:00am, so the place wasn't open yet. I didn't get a chance to get back to the storage unit to talk to a manager face to face due to moving that day, but I called the following Monday morning to complain about what I'd found. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. I just want people to be aware of what my experience was here, and hope that no one else has to go through what I went through at ANY storage unit.

We visited the Carter Center on Jan 6, 2026 as part of Road Scholar's "The Civil Rights Movement -…read moreAtlanta, Montgomery, Selma, Birmingham" program. It is the home of the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. Access to the library is by appointment only. Tickets to the museum were covered by our program. Upon entering the Carter Center, the first thing we did was lunch at the Kitchen at Copenhill cafe. The cuisine was all-American, and decent enough. By the time I began exploring the museum proper, we had 100 minutes to spare. The way to the museum was into the gift shop, and then through either auditoriums A or B. The Carter Center is (so far) the only museum I've been to where the gift shop comes before the galleries. Given the limited time, I got to see three of the gallery sections. The first gallery section, aptly named "The Man From Plains", covers Carter's years before becoming POTUS. Exhibits cover his relationships with various people ("Black And White"), farming background ("Farm Family"), small-town education ("A Plains Education"), naval career ("A Career Officer?"), religious upbringing ("A Man Of Faith"), and courtship and marriage ("Jimmy And Rosalyn"). Easily my favorite section of the galleries, I got to appreciate (profoundly) Carter the person, human being and humanitarian. (Footages of this section are found on my YouTube channel in playlist "2026-1: The Civil Rights Movement - Atlanta, Montgomery, Selma, Birmingham", titled "Day 3: Jimmy Carter Museum, Part 1 - The Man From Plains".) The next gallery section is my least favorite, and not just because Carter wasn't all that great a POTUS. It covers the 1976 presidential election and his only term of office from 1977 to 1981. Exhibits include "The '76 Campaign", "The Walk Down Pennsylvania Avenue", "Inaugural Celebration" (including the Bible used in the swearing-in ceremony), the Oval Office (during the Carter administration), "Camp David Accords", and "Final Year - Two White Houses". No surprise that the focus is on the achievements than the failures. As photos the posted by others on Google show, there is apparently more that I didn't see because I wasn't aware of them. Wish I had a map of the museum. The final gallery section is my second favorite. It covers Carter's humanitarian work post-presidency, and is wonderfully illustrated by exhibits "Nineteen Eighties... Nineteen Nineties... Two Thousand and Beyond", "Building Hope", "Renewing Spirits", "Waging Peace" and "Recognition from Home and Abroad". The latter displays numerous accolades including a Grammy award, a Gates award, a Nobel Peace Prize, and (with Rosalynn) two Presidential Medals of Freedom. Situated near a window is the presidential lectern (supposedly) from the Carter administration where visitors can take photos of and with it. I took three of myself standing in front it. There is more that I didn't see because I wanted to go to the koi pond, but time had ran out. (Footages of the last two sections are found in "Day 3: Jimmy Carter Museum, Part 2 - Presidency & Post-Presidency". Same channel and playlist.) If I had more time, I would see the rest of the museum's content, the koi pond, the Japanese garden, and the Jimmy Carter bust near the museum entrance. What I did see impressed me so much that I'm adding presidential museums as places of interest for future travels. I recommend spending at least half a day to appreciate the museum and grounds of the Carter Center.

It's a nice museum and $12 as regular admission for adults seem reasonable. There's also a walking trail part of the Carter Center than you can enjoy. My fave part here was the replica of Jimmy Carter's Oval Office. Since it was a holiday today, they even had free cupcakes for everyone.
