Everyday I check the app to see what they do, and no joke - it seems like they had professional photographers take photos of my kids. Everyday the kids do a new and interesting activity that blows my mind. Even better they potty trained my son, helped him give up his pacifier, and turned him into an articulate curious child. The icing on the cake are the strict covid protocols. This place is cleaner than than a hospital, and all the parents take the protocols very seriously as well.

We have been very impressed with the place -- the teachers are trained, thoughtful and creative (my son has hugged both teachers unprompted in front of me so I know he is happy to be there!) The school offers enrichment activities like music and yoga that actually do teach skills they take home -- I see him constantly come back with new words and abilities. Bright Start provides diapers, healthy meals, milk, and more. There is a playground and the older kids go on walks. It is flexible around pickup and drop off, and some teachers are open to babysitting as well. Communication with some members of the administration can be slow and a bit disorganized, but honestly, that was really only applicable in the admissions process. The actual school experience is very impressive and (most importantly) my son loves it.

Since last week, I have been trying to get information about your daycare for my infant son. Unfortunately, to date, I still do not have any information, and all I have experienced is extreme unprofessionalism and nonresponsiveness from your staff members, Lucy and Brittany. For example, I sent Lucy at least 2-3 emails without a reply. I then scheduled a meeting through the online link, but after I waited 15 minutes, no one showed up to the meeting. Then Brittany called to say that Lucy was too busy and needs to reschedule and when I let her know that I moved another important meeting for this and Ive sent multiple emails with no reply, she had the audacity to tell me that I "must not know what the protocol is". Like what?! Where I'm from, professional protocol is replying to emails in a timely manner and when you have agreed to an appointment, you join on time. And, if you're running late, you inform the other party before the meeting start time, not 15 mins after. At this point, I would NEVER send my son to such an unprofessional environment. Whoever owns this place should know how rude and ridiculous their staff is! I will definitely spread the word about my experience.

They provide all the meals and snacks, usually including a hot and healthy lunch. I always feel confident going to work that my kids are safe and well cared for. It's not easy leaving your little ones all day, but Loving 2 Learn made it so much better! We're really going to miss this school and the staff and other kids now that my little ones are moving on. At St. Jerome's, it feels warm and family-oriented Many of the current teachers actually attended the school as children, sent their own children there, and have continued to be a part of the community. The staff are knowledgeable and extremely caring, treating each baby like a special family member. My baby is always happy and smiles at everyone when we walk in the door. I should also mention that because it's subsidized by the church, it is VERY affordable!

The staff are loving and warm to the children and very accommodating toward parents, who are always welcome to drop in to visit their children or talk to staff. Religiosity is never excessive, but in line with age-appropriate Catholic teaching. Hitting and conflicts among children are not overlooked but dealt with immediately in a firm, fair manner by staff. Aggressive children are referred to senior staff for intervention and generally this is sufficient to avert problem patterns developing. The staff are compassionate about pottying and the children have very easy access to a child-sized lavatory whenever needed. Parents are not chided about accidents, incidents or threatened with expulsion because a child displays minor issues common to their age. The center is very supportive of allergic children, posting their needs in classrooms so staff are reminded to be aware. Medicines are not dispensed without a doctor's note, and can be stored on site. Children running a fever will be sent home to recover until the fever has been gone 24 hours. Sniffles and minor colds are tolerated. Families are diverse in background, as is the staff. Catholics registered with a parish receive a significant discount, but all are welcomed. Demand can be high for slots, particularly for infants through 3 years. There is often a waiting list for infants, so apply well before birth. Children are admitted as early as 6 weeks. Graduation occurs at the end of the spring term in May for 5 year olds going to K in the fall. Tuition varies by age, but our preschooler it was approximately $1040 a month for full-time care, 5 days a week, 7 am to 6 pm. Part-time arrangements are available and flexible. The programs operate on a semester basis (Fall and Spring) with a Summer term. There is a weeklong spring break and two weeks off in the summer. The facility is fully accredited by the State of Maryland under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Washington, and billing is done by the FACTS company, with ACH deducation available. In sum, this is a long-running, well-managed, child-friendly daycare facility with an excellent reputation. Highly recommended.

I was never able to receive a voucher (for cheaper payment) so I payed out of pocket. At one point, the owner called herself "working with me" and allowing me to pay when i was able to. Around two months ago, my mom complained about my daughter coming home wet from not being changed. SOAKED DIAPERS. So when i addressed it with the owner, of course they TRIED to clean it up and do better. But ever since i reported that, the vibe and conversation from the owner did a 180. There was no communication or anything regarding my child other than a couple of pictures and a couple of texts saying what she was doing. When i told the owner i was removing my child because it was too expensive, again, the professionalism was not there. I stated that my child's last day was the 25th of May. Today, not receiving a text or call, the owner decides to say she has until next Wednesday (the 9th) because she filled her spot and the parent needed it right away. There was NO statement in writing! There was no PROFESSIONAL phone call. NOTHING. Just a text. AFTER she just saw me in person to pick up my child. I have donated toys to the daycare, I've made a shirt for the owner with no charge. The least someone can do when they know their child's parent isn't financially stable is to communicate with them professionally and help with a solution. This lady always wanted my daughter to be in her care, but because you lack professionalism and you're expensive, you decide to hurt me by removing my child before her last date. If you pay out of pocket, I DO NOT recommend this daycare. She prioritizes government voucher parents. The parents who pay out of pocket are harassed because she doesn't get money from the vouchers. My daughter was out sick two days last week. The owner texts to check in on my child, but the next day says "oh umm will you have payment tomorrow I never got it". Obviously not if she wasn't at the daycare. but this is the unprofessional owner who had so much time to want to be around my child. Saying she would drop her off home, or she would take her for the weekend. Don't go the extra mile to "act" like you care, but in the end you're unprofessional because I can't afford the tuition. This was very personal! Period.

My kids were ready for Pre-k, thanks to the teachers at Sprouts. The teachers truly love our kids as if they were their own and they share their language and cultures with family nights and celebrations. It's a beautiful and diverse place. Many of the teachers even offer babysitting outside of center hours. My kids miss their Sprouts teachers and still talk about them. We built community through them as well - they make sure to connect families with groups chat for each class and send daily photos and important announcements. My kids are still friends with their Sprouts friends (and we are still friends with the parents). Finding childcare for your little one(s) can be so scary and challenging with the waitlists and ever-rising costs and trusting strangers with your baby, but Sprouts Town is a neighborhood gem. They have small class sizes and reasonable prices (and even a sibling discount), and don't usually have a waitlist. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I am so thankful for Sprouts Town!

The staff truly love the kids and create such a warm, safe and healthy environment. They are flexible in a way I think other daycare centers are not (e.g., not charging you if are a few minutes late for pick-up) and certainly more affordable than any other daycare we could find. Occasionally, one of their staff members babysits on the weekend; normally mom and dad leaving them with a babysitter brings tears but with a Sprouts staff member our girls practically push us out the door they are so excited to spend time with them! My youngest recently started Pre-K3 and her teacher shared that he could tell that she and some of her other daycare friends, who were in the same class, came from an environment that took care to prepare the kids scholastically (e.g., counting, letter recognition) as well as socially/emotionally for the transition. I credit Sprouts for this. Our entire family misses them and we can't recommend them enough for any family looking for a loving second home for their child.
